TOM SELLECK :ONE ON ONE INTERVIEW WITH MAGNUM PI

This video is a one on one interview of Laura Diaz with the Magnum PI, Tom Selleck. The interview was held at CBS 2 studio. As stunning as before, Tom Selleck still carries the movie star good looks and still very charming at the age of 62. The actor said that he is very grateful for the positive perception he is receiving getting from people. Tom was born in Detroit and grew up in the San Fernando Valley near the CBS 2 studio. This Magnum PI reminisces on the old San Fernando Valley with Laura and all the times that he is has rode his bike along San Fernados' beautiful streets.
Tom is still married to Jilly Mac for 20 years now. In the video, viewers can see how proud he is of his wifes' attitude towards life. He said she has a lot of life and spirit. That has made them stay together for a solid 20 years. After being away from the screen for quite sometime, Tom is now returning to a TV series. He will star in four of Jesse Stones' shows on CBS. The first one which was aired the night of the interview. In the middle of this interview, Tom said that the role of Magnum PI changed his life.

He was really funny in his younger career. Even when he was doing other shows -- Rockford Files guest spots. He was hilarious. But, after Magnum he tried to be a serious actor and he just was not as complete of an actor when became dour and straight-faced. The humor and good-natured side, coupled with the anger and intensity of Magnum made for a brilliant, intriguing character.

Tom did go to SC, but before that he went to Valley College(community college) in Van Nuys & played basketball there too.
