In the only letter I ever wrote to a celebrity, I told Tom of this. I must have been in my late 30s at the time. Much to my surprise he wrote me a very kind note back, and sent an autographed photo of himself as TM. Class all the way.

I loved Magnum. Tom was class in it. He is a charmer. Absolutely loved his car, and those dogs too. Tom is one handsome devil. Amazing to think he is 76 now. He doesnt look anywhere close to it. The guy who plays his father in Blue Bloods is 81yrs old. Lol only 5yrs older in real life. Shame Toms charm didnt seem to work quite as well on the big screen altho Quigley Down Under was great. I think he would have made a great Indiana Jones(altho Harrison was perfect for it) if he had gotten that part.
