On one hand, SOOOOO EXCITED for the Sims to go back to old packs to add gameplay, items, and general improvements. On the other hand, IT DOESN'T WORK. You really can't put out a "fixed pack" if it's a buggy mess!!

The green instructor's yoga mat isn't working because it's not placed on the ground. It jumped up to be level with the foundation because its footprint is so big. He can't get to it. Leading the yoga classes is actually the least glitchy way to make money with this pack.

One thing I wish they could have done would be integrating spa day into get to work. Like if you could join the spa career and it’s an active career where it gives you different tasks/treatments to do for the day like the other active careers. It just came to mind because it feels like Stanley may as well be employed by the spa in this challenge haha
Not sure if you’ll see this but for the “become a spa regular” you have to “tend” to the chair or whatever. It’s a specific action! You’ve been clicking on “offer massage” which is different
Also got to the part where you said manicures and pedicures count to the spa regular but massages don’t. It’s because you were tending the chair at the time then offered a massage! I don’t think you can tend two things at once. So you’d have to stop tending the chair, then tend the table. That’s how it worked when I played!
I checked and the very first Stanley video was posted on February 1, 2020... so maybe next February, you could make a birthday video for Stanley where he gets a nice hotdog shaped house or something. i think he deserves that.
Being a yoga teacher is pretty good! I made a "yoga class" club, had them gather at the spa and my sim taught a couple of yoga classes. You get around 100 simoleons per sim.
I love how spa workers are just "oh this hot-dog guy wants to do our job? well, I will use his services and ignore the queue, i work here, i can do it!" this Stanley's attempt was good as hell 💅🏻

What if the Sims made a wedding pack, a game pack I’m thinking, and you could owned your own wedding venue and every time you go to work you have to throw like a new wedding and you could have pop ups like Bridezillas or mother-in-law‘s. And then if you don’t wanna own a wedding venue and you just wanna have your own wedding, your wedding could be a lot more personalized and a whole big thing instead of just this small event. That sounds like so much fun to me 😆

I played with high maintenance trait, ended up collecting satisfaction points and drinking retraiting potion, I pretended that my sim had successful sessions with psychotherapist))) this trait is a disaster Also this aspiration was glitched in my game, too

I feel (not sure about it, haven't tested) that the new aspirations are harder to cheat, you can't spam smell incense for the Inner Peace one (at least not the same, apparently), so maybe you have to offer services to the same sim 10 different days Oh, and gotta see if you have a bigger chance to get tips if you're in the ideal mood, which can be easily achieved by practicing yoga
I have a rag to riches curve ball: how long does it take to rag to riches while renting an apartment? Like getting to the point where your Sim can afford move out and own their own lot while the burden of a crappy rental apartment looms over them. Maybe this would be too much of a life simulation
I think it sounds like fun! Could be a cool legacy idea too, once a family gets too rich to be fun, have a kid get kicked out and have to live in an apartment this way
I think for the aspiration the customers have to ask for a treatment, not you forcing them. Otherwise, as you stated, that would be quite easy to achieve
The one thing I notice more and more is that the community lots need opening hours because it is just ridiculous that everything is always open. It would be really cool if you could also set busy hours to make it more realistic - Bar open from 2 to 2 busy from 8-10.
Weird note, spa day stuff is a way to befriend celebrities. If you tend a massage table and they request it, you get a friendship point. It's a long process, but it's a way to become friends with Judith Ward or any other 5 star celebrity without gaining any stars.
I would love to see a can you get rich quick just from pets (the presents/feathers they get for you in brindleton bay, having pets perform tricks in public, even breeding pets to adopt out and sell for money) I know Cats & Dogs is an older EP but I'm watching James Turner's old Wags to Riches and i wonder if stanley could speedrun that
I've had it happen once. In the third generation of my legacy challenge one of my sims won a million simoleons and we still have so much money on gen 5.
A note about using it as a carrier: you can. Just complete the things that are required to do at the spa before you have kids. Then you can build a home spa, and host yoga classes or massages. You can promote your services to get clients. Just add any sim to your group, tell them to 'go here together' close to the massage table, choose 'tend table', and then you can get quite a few done. Same with yoga classes, if that is what you want to do. :)

an idea that I really enjoy: create a newcreast save which you build houses to put your famous sims, like Stanley, the bowling family.. I think I lot of people would like it (myself included)
It is amazing that he is STILL part of the military career. This man has done more in his life than might never have learned by going into the military. But for this playthrough, is there a reason why she is not putting the Spa on her lot? Stanley would only be able to access it when working, which judging by past episodes, would be all the time. Also, she only goes home for sleeping and designing a home once he starts getting money. That is a lot of loading screens though for the editor to edit out.
If you have frequent nightmares I'd recommend buying dream catchers and place one on each wall of the room you sleep in. I did this for years before I moved and I haven't hung them back up yet but I should because I've gotten a lot of nightmares. In my experience I hardly had any when I hung one on each one of my bedroom walls so I highly recommend trying out hanging up dream catchers on your walls in your bedroom.
@lilsimsie you should try the 3 minute, 30 minute, 3 hour house challenge! It's base game and one other pack and I think that you would do a great job!

For me at least, it's possibly the most glitchy pack yet. They basically broke the pack.
The nails clipping through gloves doesn’t happen for all of them, at least they didn’t for my sims, incase anyone was worried :)
