- Here are all the MacInTalk Text-To-Speech voices used in Mac OS 8.0. Some of them are considered very iconic.

Fun fact: The “Junior” Macintalk voice was the original voice for Robot Jones.
WALL-E used a modified version of ralph for AUTO.
both junior and ralph were also used in short circuit for the robots excluding johnny five
(its an earlier version of those voices but still the same junior and ralph)

that show was appropriately named, especially since it was taken off the air without any notice, leading us to ask the question... Whatever happened to Robot Jones?
bells is probably my favorite. old computers are so nostalgic and cool

Fun Fact: The Boing Voice in 0:45 Has Been Used, Because the Logo Character Name Splaat on Klasky Csupo Productions Logo in Year 1998 to 2008

I used that voice on Mac OS 8.5 (InfiniteMac). I tried it out on Simple Text, It worked!
The text I did to make it say Klasky Csupo was "Class Key Chew Po".
Most of these voices are also available on mac OS10 however Fred got upgraded and we also got Alex and the Vocaliser voices
I look for the Victoria voice but can’t find it. Sounded like mothership voice of nostromos/ alien

Do you still have access to these? The first voice Albert is used in some tracks for SMT Nocturn and theres a lot of debate as to what its actually saying (especially in Fierce Battle/Forced Battle). If you can run the most common interpretations through it we could figure it out for sure

Searching and trying to find the Victoria voice. Sounded like the mothership voice from Notstromos / Alien. I loved that voice .. and was part of my old iMac.
