All motion tracked including the facial expressions..it actually looks real. The characters are not only poorly modeled in RDR2, but the animations are pretty aweful..especially compared to Horizon Forbidden West. I havent played last of us, but to compare HFW in any way graphically to RDR2 is hilarious to me.
It’s a beautiful game near perfect however, some of the mechanics are a bit clunky. Riding mounts, climbing, even dodging. If these things were smother this game would be flawless.

Probably because most of the reviewers aren't story-driven/RPG gamers. This game is definitely up there among my favorites. If a person says they're bored after only a few hours, then they obviously didn't play it long enough, because this game is 150 to 200+ hours to complete.

Hz and fps are different things. The balanced is 4k 40fps. Performance is 1800p 60fps and resolution is 4k 30fps. But you van use balanced if u have a 120hz monitor or tv. 120hz doesnt meen fps, its how smooth the screen is in cutscenes and gameplay, not the frames per second
Where is 4k120fps on next gens ??? I was playing zero dawn on my pc 4k 80fps max settings. Bought ps5 for that game ....and wtf is wrong .any settings blurry when looking around. Only performance are acceptable but 1080p .😫
I don't know what it is but none of the settings naturally look good on ps5. Image quality suffers when moving the camera in all modes. Only way to get the 4k 60hz feel is to play with cine motion on and resolution mode. Only one that works great
Well I don't think I need a new TV. Other games play just fine in performance mode. It's just this game. And I've tried other tvs. And my TV is somewhat newer with hdmi 2.1. Regardless turning on cine motion allows me to play resolution mode and still get that 60fps feel. I just thought it was weird that I even had to turn it on for low modes

Horizon west doesn’t even run at 120 it runs at 60 so a 60 htz tv is just fine and mine can do 120 so it running 60 is a breeze and smooth. If his tv is capable of 120 but he’s saying he’s running in the visual mode and not performance ooooo ok but he said it all wrong then lol.

I laugh when people call a game they haven’t played boring. this is just a showcase of graphics and from like the first 2 hours of the game. if you actually played it you’ll see it’s got alot of mechanical depth between the weapons and how they are used against the 30+ machines you’ll discover.

I have a 1440p monitor as well with my PS5 and what i discovered after buying the PS5 is that it does not even support 1440 except for a few specific monitors so it's actually running in 1080p. You might want to check on that and see if that's your problem too

I use a 1440p monitor to play ps5 and my game look quite worse than this. I cannot even activate the new balance mode
I have a 1440p monitor as well with my PS5 and what i discovered after buying the PS5 is that it does not even support 1440 except for a few specific monitors so it's actually running in 1080p.
You might want to check on that and see if that's your problem too
