For some reason I find it so facinating that at 5:42:50. This is the first and almost only battle in the whole game with an actual character/opponent animation sprites in battle, besides the Morty fight later.
7:17:32 I believe Brad killed his temmates on his sleep, thats why they are permanently dead once you beat Marty and theres blood on the campfire you rested on.
I saw someone theorize that this whole sequence could be a foreshadowing of what the final battle is like for Brad. He sees Buddy as Lisa and Rando as Marty, so he expects him to harm her. So firsts he fights his teammates, whom he sees as mere silhouettes, then Rando's goons, whom he imagines to be the Marty Spiders, and finally, he fights Rando, who is Marty. This still doesn't explain why are the teammates permanently dead... But I like this theory too much ti care lol

@@WeebyKyoki actually no not at all man, i was just saying since i enjoyed watching this yesterday i was dissapointed its this short. i am not slandering the game at all i just had some trouble understanding the lore because the entire game was played from start to finish in so little time. i also am wondering if there are any other games in the same series that are able to clear up some stuff about the story. thanks for replying
That's cool - but is that a restless playthrough? I don't think it makes sense for Brad to be able to sleep when his daughter is somewhere out there in danger. I am sad to pronounce this playthrough not properly painful enough...
he wouldnt be able to pasta certain point because he would need too many mags early in the game just to have a chance at getting to area 2 due to bosses and sp deprivation. so no, restless wouldn't need to be added to make the game even harder because it would just be impossible and thats not what pain is.
