Filthy Mercedes CLK Spring Clean - Dirty Interior Car Cleaning Disaster Detail | ASMR

- The last, third part of this Mercedes’ makeover is finally here! This lovely, but extremely dirty Mercedes CLK 320 CDI AMG Sport was standing untouched for quite a long while before its current owner purchased it - therefore it had lots of moss, lichen, algae and dirt accumulated on it everywhere, especially in the recesses/crevices... and its interior was not an exception. It needed a thorough proper scrubbing after the winter left us. 😄
Firstly, I started off vacuuming all interior surfaces thoroughly to get rid of all accumulated debris and dust. Because it was quite cold outside, afterwards I wanted to get done the car mats and carpets to give them time to dry, therefore I followed up the vacuum cleaner with the carpet cleaner, shampoed all fabric surfaces, the floor carpets, mats, boot, etc., including the fabric door and dashboard panels too. After that I cleaned all interior surfaces with my trustworthy "go-to" product, the Sonax Xtreme Interior Cleaner and various detailing brushes and wiped them clean with microfibre towels, after followed it up with Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer on the already dry surfaces to give them proper protection. The leather seats were pampered with Meguiar's Ultimate Leather Balm to give them the care and protection that they deserve. The stickers from the side window were finally removed, the residue was cleaned up with Sonax Tar Remover, after that I cleaned all glass surfaces with Gyeon Q²M Glass Cleaner. After all of these and cca. 7 hours of work, I gave a final quick vacuuming for the interior before placing the car mats back in. I believe that this transformation was quite drastic and finally the car was looking almost like new - as it should do. 😊
You can now see in this video how I spring cleaned this Mercedes' interior and brought it back to life (in ASMR style, of course) - to make a friend very happy. 😊
When I can see the big smile on the owners' faces... that is the real deal to me - that thing what keeps me going (especially in these hard times we have to experience right now). 🤩

In this case, this was cca. 7 hours for the interior, cca. 14 hours in total for the whole car in two days - I could spend more time on it tough, but everything was frozen in the mornings in those days, therefore couldn’t start very early and we had to finish just after 16:00 because the sun started to go down and everything started to mist up, so I had to rush like crazy... 😅
I have included the hours in the description, it looks like we have similar thoughts... 👌🏻😊👊🏻🤩👍🏻

I have the Bissell SpotClean Pro machine, I’m super-happy with it - but it doesn’t mean that’s the only good one on the market. You can find lots of great ones for various budgets, if you shop around. The Bissell is a great value quality product - in my opinion, so you can’t really go wrong with it; but you can find cheaper or more expensive ones, depending on your needs. Also, I have the Pet Pro as well, it can do the same job in the car or on furnitures, like sofas, beds, etc.; it’s bigger in size and a bit more expensive, but more versatile in return, so with this one you can clean your carpets and rugs at home (or elsewhere), I’m very satisfied with this one too and happy that I bought it: www.bisselldirect.co.uk/products/proheat-2x-revolution-pet-pro

@@ralphyimages - I was using a Henry Extra vacuum cleaner, a Karcher WD3 wet&dry&blow vacuum cleaner and a Bissell SpotClean Pro carper cleaner. 😊

Serious question. Why are not pretreating the carpets and running only hot water in your extractor? Theres so much carpet solution left in thoes carpets. I'm pained😫😫😫 other wise great video.

You can see only few minutes of that process what I was doing for hours, and you can see only few parts of the process that are looking good on camera. 🤩
This interior has taken me cca. 7 hours to complete, therefore I am unable to show you everything. The carpets were done at first as I wrote it in the description to give them time to get dry and spent cca. 2-3 hours only on them... After finishing with the mats, they went under the radiator in the house to speed the drying time up. They were bone dry when they went back into the car. 😉
The videos do not show you everything. I liked that when I got people asking me about these jobs and they thought the cars got done in cca. 1 hour because the video was about that long... 😁

I think you now can feel better - also the owner is down, between the comments, you can ask him if you are still not convinced and don’t believe in me; but I think you feel much better now! 😊

I know what you mean - these are always extremely tough decisions to make as to what to cut out... I always would love to show everything real time, but I think nobody would watch 7-8-10 hours long videos... So have to be reasonable and make shorter videos. I’m even not spending that much time at home! 😅
