Fifth sample is slowly starting to become my favorite product, next to hybrid. I use it as a Pre and Post styler. I've used Monarch as a post styler after pre styling with fifth sample, and got some nice results. I have to say I like the original the least. It doesn't work well with my fine hair.
I just started trying to use this and then coincidentally you made this video. I like it better than original because i got a lot of tugging in my fine thick hair, this with cavalier does wonders even with a lockdown hairstyle;-)

Haha! I can understand that. I’ve done a lot of experiments with amounts over the years so I’ve adjusted the amount I use as I gain that experience. I like a good heavy scoop 💪

Haha I actually prestyled with it today! Finished with some ocean clay to get some of that sweet texture and even more health in there 🤙🏽🤙🏽 works like a charm for me

Maaan i just got blumaans sample kit but since i have fine wavy hair I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d use fifth sample but i really want to see how it’d work for me.
Love the content dude. I used to have really fine hair but it’s gotten healthier recently and I’ve always felt pretty long with a clay or pomade always weights the hair down. What are your thoughts on this. I think a simple 25 spray or sea salt spray is more than enough. Thanks:)
For some folks it definitely is good enough! It all depends on your hair type and what your goals are for the end result.
I tried this before with good results as well! It made me rethink what I can use as a prestyler. So I tried Dauntless Pomade and it worked well as a prestyler too!

It’s very cool to see folks use the products in ways I didn’t even consider them to be used. I can tell you I didn’t honestly picture a pre styler in mind with the dauntless pomade, but that’s how cool this can be! Someone can take your product and use it in a way you didn’t even dream of and have it do what they want! Very cool!
I've been using medium hold, low shine pomade as pre styler for a while now. It perfectly works with my thick hair.
I agree. It almost acts like a serum but with some actual hold

Since I have fifth sample maybe one day I will try to use it and see if it works as a pre styler.
I actually use Caviar as a pre-styler I love what it does with my hair

can you a behind the brew the a dauntless line up they seem pretty good
Honestly I get better results with the dauntless matte as a pre styler than post styler. Just for the record I don't blow dry and I got fine but abundant straight hair(Just to let you know Mike as someone in the comment section mentioned that got nice results with your pomade as a pre styler...)

I suggest Dauntless grooming oil for beard care. That's all I use and it's wonderful.
