Your Tacoma look awesome my friend. I like the aggressive ape trance of it. I own a 2020 TRD off road and I just installed an Icon 2.75 suspension kit and I love the ride. It is much better than the stock suspension it terms of stability and smoothness and love the appearance. In terms of gas mileage I didn’t purchase a Tacoma to save gas and I think most people will agree.
It’s just for looks and mild off roading. Honestly you all know that if you really want to go do some serious wheeling then you would pay much more for a premium custom suspension package that could do some rock crawling or handle some little hills on the trail at a higher speed without bottoming out your struts do to limiting it with a spacer or bracket lift. Trust me I learned the hard way and through out all of that suspension crap and finally put in some really good shit like Total Chaos Kings and Deavers!! Now I’m running strong as hell!! 💪 💪
I have a 2" spacer lift and ran 285/55r/20's Kumhos on 20 inch XD Series wheels zero off set with zero rubbing. I just replaced the Kumho's with Kenda Klevers r/t 285/55r/20's and now have just a wee little rubbing on the upper control arm due to the extra rubber on the side walls of these tires. Any suggestions on a fix for this, new UCA, wheels with a negative off set, 3 inch lift?
I have a 2 inch front level and 1 inch rear level. Will this set up work or will I have to go with a 20x9 instead of a 20x10? And what offset would u recommend? Thank u.
This setup looks awesome! Does running 20's on a tacoma affect the gas mileage alot (if any)? Also I am wanting to run 20x9 with a 3" lift, would that setup interfere with the mud flaps? Thanks in advance
The wheels size will make ery little Fuel mileage difference. The tires do make some difference.. 33's make a marginal difference, 35's make a big difference. And yes this will fit no rubbing without mud flaps, it will require modification to run mudflaps..
It will fit. - 18 offset will be a perfect fit with zero rubbing. If you have negative 25 offset worst case you will have to trim slightly on plastic only
I love this set up, but would like to try 33’s, do you think a 275/60R20 on a 20x9 -12 would fit with a 3.5” lift? I saw some of your other comments about less offset and slimmer wheel, just wanted to verify before I order.
Your set up with 3.5" and 20x9 with 275/60R20 would look good. I believe it will require some trimming to fit. Not heavy trimming but still some plastic trimming..
Sounds like a nice setup! I would look at a 2.5" Level or lift with 9 wide up to -12 and less than 32". Maybe a 20x9 with 0 or -12 and a 275/55R20 should fit good.
Do these have any offset , I am trying to buy these rims for mine , I’m putting a 3 inch leveling kit and want to run these with 33s but I didn’t know if there was any offset cause I don’t wanna have to do any trimming
They are good at their price point. If you have it in your budget I would recommend nitto or toyo but at this price point venom is a favorite, ride quality and tread wear is pretty good.
@@ErickGarcia-gn6ge This wheel is 20x10 With -25 Offset. Actual Tire sizes vary slightly from brand to brand but 275/55R20 is closer to 32x11R20. Is is a perfect fit for a 10" wide wheel and 3 inch lift kit. If you want a 33" tire you will need to cut or do a more narrow wheel with less offset. - Hope this helps.
@@Cardinaltire thanks a lot .. only reason why I asked about if 275’s where 33” is cuz the description on the video says 33” and i wasn’t very sure about that .. thanks for all the info
This is Rough Country part # 74530 of course you can upgrade with lifted struts, coil overs, and control arms but this is a great starting point and will clear 20x10 wheels - 24 offset and 275/55R20 tires no rubbing. (you can trim and do 285s or do a 9 wide wheel, every one has their own taste.)
This is a 3 " lift. The actual spacer itself is 1.5 inches thick but on these Tacoma's every one inch of lift at the strut will give you two inches of lift at the wheel. So a 1" actual thickness spacer will give you 2" ride height difference, 1.5" will give you 3" etc..
A 3 inch lift kit, 20x10 wheels with - 24 offset, and 275/55R20 tires will fit. ( it may rub if you have mud flaps Etc but will clear the truck and fenders perfectly)

I am interested in doing a similar set up. Stuck between 3 inch and 6 inch. Suggestions. I have a 2016 tacoma limited with 18s currently and want to go with 20s and 33s do not want to trim any of the fenders .
These are 20x10 with -24 offset and 275/55R20 tires. They fit with a 3" with no trimming. (one qualifier, If you have mud flaps or the splash shield on your front bumper it may hit and need to be trimmed or removed)
No rubbing on this set up ( as long as you dont run any mud flap ) 3" lift will clear 20x10 Wheels and 275/55R20 Tires withour rubbing privided the wheel has no more than -18 offset. More offset or a bigger tire will need some trimming.
@@Cardinaltire That is incorrect. They do not ‘literally come with factory 20s’ The largest wheel option on the current Toyota Tacoma is a 17” wheel. However, on the previous gen Tacoma on the Limited trim level an 18” wheel option was available.
With a 3" Lift Kit, 20X10 Wheels with -25 Offset, and 275/55R20 Tires no rubbing. Depending on the level of plastic trim in your wheel well you may need minor trimming. (This truck did not require it.)
You're going to have problems with the stock uca. Also, the sensor will stop working because of the 3" difference in height. I have a 2.5" lift on my tacoma. The collision sensor stopped working and now I have a warning light on the dash and the cruise control will not engage. The dealer tried to re set the sensor, however it didn't work. Good luck.
This would concern me except I have done dozens of these setups with absolutely no issues that you're describing. Matter of fact my personal daily driver is a 2020 Tacoma with 6 in lift and an aftermarket Grill. Zero issues with the sensor. Cruise control works great! Even the radar adaptive cruise control works, Lane departure works. Absolutely no issues if you're careful on setup.
This is my daily driver. 6 in lift, 35s and 20x12s. I could send you dozens of pictures of 3-inch lifts we've done with zero issues on electronics or control arms. You simply need to know what you're doing with the combination. photos.app.goo.gl/HiSEGE3TWfkzkHGS8

So is this a -24 offset or -18 offset

If I were to get 20x9 on a 3 inch leveling kit running 33s would I have to cut or would it be no rubbing problems ?
3" kit with 20x9 and 33s will require some trimming ( In my experience doable but good to be prepared for some trimming on plastic)

285/50R20 is about as big as will fit without any lift. ( Checkout the Nitto Nomad Grappler in that size :)

with a 20x10 wheel 285/55R20 will rub slightly. 33x12.5020 will rub a LOT.
how much does a package like this run? Thanks in advance.
