Tony Chacheres creole seasoning is amazing. You should try it. I had to order it in the 80s from Louisiana. I asked our local Reasors grocery if they could carry it. Now you can find it all over the south.
Staying at Sam Rayburn Reservoir south Texas. Drove to Port Arthur today to hang out at the Gulf of Mexico. Windy today but loved it then drove up LA82 to holly beach. The bridges around Sabine lake blew my mind. This whole day was amazing I’m so glad I am traveling now. There is so much to see and do in this great USA . The hiccups along the way are to keep our minds sharp. Be safe and fun travels.

We loaded up on Boudin, boudin balls, sausage and…where have chicken cracklins been all of our lives??!!!! We never cared for cracklins, so chicken cracklins did NOT sound good! I would have been disappointed if I didn’t try them! 😊
Ya chicken crackin is Delicious In New Iberia there’s the Shadows it’s a like a old house around 1820 on Main Street though so I don’t know if you go with without your trailer but it’s interesting y’all blessed keep up the good work
My wife and I love your videos. Unfortunately I think your stuck slide is going to get worse, we went through the same problem. The gear mechanism is worn out. We have Good Sam extended warranty so we had a RV service fix it. They replaced the complete motor, gearbox, and 8 foot shaft. $$$ but $300 for us.I found out the gear mechanism can be replaced at a lower cost. At least you have a fairly easy way to manually open the slide. Good luck!
I sure hope not, but slides always make us nervous. We cleaned them up and put some spray lube on them and we didn't have issues on the next run. I am hoping that it stays that way! Good to know that I may be able to get some parts (and maybe fix it) if need be. We'll be keeping an eye on it. Thanks for watching!!
I guess I’ll have to expand my seasoning collection! All I have is Dave’s rib rub (which would be really good with your cabbage.) and Vermont maple pepper that I pick up at the local sugar house. My son would not eat anything without the maple pepper. I had to carry a bottle of it in my purse when he was little.
As I recall it used to be strictly a Vermont thing, but now Highland foods from Maine has it on Amazon. It goes great on pork chops and chicken with Cabot cheddar cheese and I add lots of maple syrup. My son puts it on his hamburgers and steak.
It almost tasted like a dark chocolate raspberry, but it was in vanilla ice cream. I dunno. It’s not good for you! 🤣🤣 It has high fructose corn syrup in it! But it was good on ice cream and cheesecake..or so I’ve heard. 😏
I wish Garmin would just come out with a module that could connect with the Sync 4 and provide the same functionality with the 12" Built-In display. I hate having the myriad of displays that you need for all these dash mounted devices.

We discovered you guys several months ago and really enjoy your videos. The latest one is no exception. I would like to make one shooting suggestion. We found for our videos that it looks better when shooting forward out the passenger window, like Angela often does, that the image is better since we replaced our factory radio antenna with a stubby antenna. It's not expensive, the radio works just a good and it's not distracting in the videos. Keep up the great work and maybe we'll see you later this year if our paths cross on the road. First place, it seems the 1300 baht room had a safe box, and the 650 baht room did not. Likewise, shower plus bath tub for 1300, only shower for 650. Everyone saying the first place seems like a value, thinks 1300 is a value or 650 is a value? Don't get confused if the room you liked was 2x as much. Totally different price range, with better places not much different in price.
This is the style that we have (below). We bought it in person to make sure it was RV rated and for the correct bike weight, but we had also heard that the Swagman brand was good. It was the top one that they recommended to us. It has been good so far! No complaints! I'd like to know if you guys have a camera that watches your e-bikes to make sure that nothing comes loose or something breaks I've installed a separate camera just for my e-bikes and my backup camera installed on the camper itself so I can watch the road and my e-bikes at the same time
Great Video. Which Garmin do y'all have? We're looking at upgrading to a new GPS. RV safe just isn't working for us as well as I had hoped. I hate I10. Every time I have been on I10 we have sat at a dead stop for over an hour. I would love to go to the Tabasco factory. And. I'm with Cody. I don't believe ice cream and Tabasco is worth a try LoL. Hopefully no slide issues on next trip.
This is the one that we bought in 2021. It isn't perfect (we know there is no such thing), but this thing got us out of a lot of jams. Especially when we were in Big Bend last year, where cell service just didn't exist and you would run 90-140 miles a day to see something. haha! I am well-known among former co-workers, family and friends, that I eat weird stuff! I probably shouldn't be advising anyone! heh heh! BUT, it was VERY tasty!
We have taken to the rear living layout! We had some friends that let us look at it and it is a good one! We got a new honey wagon that has the hooks on it, so it rides a little better than our old one. I just use some lashing straps around it, for a little extra securement (link below). These are small, cheap, easy to use straps that I use for my outside fridge, the back of the truck..just about anything. So I toss at least one strap around it and the ladder, to make me feel a bit better! Safe travels! amzn.to/49PPouR

I think that the mileage just worked out, kept us near the warm weather and there were a few things that we could do in the area. We are so glad we went though! The honking usually doesn’t start until the slides come in. But they know something is up when we start moving around quickly. Ha!

We have had a couple of cameras but right now we’re without one. It’s on the list of things to fix / address.
