As we enter the winter months, I’m interested in rainy day bags. I would like to see a video of bags that I can dash in and out of stores just holding an umbrella without fear of leather or vachetta getting spots or damage. Your thoughts?
Of the bags I covered, the pochette Metis in reverse monogram is a good choice since the top handle is not your untreated traditional vachetta. I think the Senreve one is a good option, definitely have been caught in the rain too. You can always spray your bags with kiwi protect or carbon pro to make it water resistant.
@@Somehowadultingspraying with those is not sustainable, they contain forever chemicals pfas which cause cancer 🥲 and waxed cotton works well, or Mirum, or well… a heavy coated leather…
@@Somehowadulting I’ve been wanting to try Senreve for years now, and I like the way the Aria looks! I also have the Loewe Puzzle, which of course looks a lot like the Horse bag you showed. Given my collection, I’m probably not buying anything soon but it was nice to see this video so I can be inspired to go through my closet and see what’s similar! I think my everyday bag for the next couple months will be the Gucci Soho Disco (old style)
thanks for sharing! I envy your 5'8"! aha. I love the nano but the strap is too long for me and haven't found a Celine strap to replace that looks cohesive. I do find nano fits soooo much and still looks compact somehow and lightweight!
Nothing wrong with same old! Its super hard to find the perfect cut. I'm wearing Jbrand, which they don't make anymore. I think I may be still find at Theory but it's hard to find
Hi Niki yet another great video love all of your choices especially the Celine nano I have the minis love them less functional due to size and no strap for most people but I want to add a micro such a good bag but all great choices 💚💚💚
@@Somehowadulting I don’t have it anymore I did back in the day I loved it except those stringy bits of leather hanging off of the flaps so I let it go and just stuck with the mini luggage totes most misleading naming strategy ever by the way 😂
Okay, I got to the last two and those are my two favorite bags I've ever owned. I have the Marci in 2-tone brown suede and it is beyond gorgeous, and the LV in bone white. I live in the South and love a light bag even in winter. Thinking about a Lancel bucket bag next...any opinion?
I wear lighter bags during the winter all the time too as I like to wear darker clothing in general. I've checked out Lancel before. Doesnt fit my style...how you checked out Paris64? I think their colors and designs are much more fun and modern than Lancel. Feel free to DM on IG! You know I love talking about bags 😉 bit.ly/3Baayb9 bit.ly/3TxnDl9
I saw the Clementine by The Horse from you and another youtuber, ordered the taupe color and waited for almost a month coz they were sold out and have been using it as my daily purse! Love the functionality and can wear it care free! ❤
My reaction was the same with that adjusting mechanism! So cool! I disagree with the pochette Metis. But I also don’t like it and I am not a fan/dislike the s lock. Also love the luggage tote from Celine but I could do without those wavy leather details in the side. It would’ve looked so much more streamlined without them 🤷🏻♀️
i was fascinated! Here I am we've seen everything when it comes to innovative design but nope. these indie brands continue to surprise us. I can see what you're saying about the Celine.
I would say it's pretty standard for a small company. Return shipping is also on the customer for Polene and they can definitely afford absorbing the return cost. I know that sounds crazy, Nordstroms return policy has spoiled us all lol
I love how different your collection is from everyone else’s. The pochette Métis is one of my all time favorite bags
Aww thanks!! I actually thought my collection is quite basic hahaha

Good idea, great bags, Nikki! 🥰🌻
Thanks Linda! Hope you are doing well!
So many great bags! Thanks for walking through them!
Thanks!!! Yes. So many. 😅
This video is right on time! I’m a mother of 3, who is about to start the day to day school/sports/activities grind again!
Yassss! Which one are you eyeballing that I showed?

Never had a YT content speak to me this much. 😅 Checking all those bags right now. Thank you for making this!❤
Haha thanks Pauline! Glad you found me 😊
Hi what size is your YSL NIKI bag? I really like it. Looks like a perfect every day bag for me?
They keepy change the name of the size so I'm not sure. But it's about 11 inches in length
Just subscribed! Wow you just showed me some great new brands for bags that look super nice!
Glad you found me! I hope you find something that works for you!

yea why couldnt they have make the strap adjustable. It's common sense honestly. Ha, being a big girl has it advantages and disadvantages.
Just subscribed:)) love it!
Thanks! Glad you found me!
I enjoyed the mix of contemporary and luxury bags in the review.
Thanks for letting me know!
Love your jeans, I’m in a search for new updated jeans what brands do you recommend… I tend to keep going to the same old same old

@@Somehowadulting that’s the problem with old brands that aren’t around anymore ha!

Thanks Craig! I had the celine luggage phantom. do you have that one? I think that one is perfect for you

So glad to see the Celine ❤. I recently sold my nano (because I want the same bag in a diff color) but I still have all of my micro sizes!
I did that with my Celine trotteur. Sold my beige one for a blue one!
I never use the back pocket on the Pochette Metis but I love the bag!
really? I think the zipped pocket is super convenient.

I'm thrilled to hear that! Glad my review helped you! I really enjoy mine as well. I cant wait to see what else they release.

Great video ! I ak not a hobo person but that blue bag is super cool!
Yaass! Is it considered a hobo tho?
Hi, i subscribed a day or 2 ago!
Welcome Brenda! So glad you found me!
I’m not new here but I made it this far into the video 😂
Yassss. i watch your videos in its entirety and most other videos too.
@@Somehowadulting me too. The only time I don’t is when a customer walks in when I’m at work 🤣 and then I go back to the video after I help them.

Beracamy’s return policy is horrible, a big red flag for me. That said the designs are cute.
