I have been trying to find great sound (on reasonable surfaces) for this album for YEARS : UK, German, Dutch, Japanese, Speaker's Corner, Acoustic Sounds Series.....and a 1964 vintage copy with RE-1 / RE-1 Stampers. But i have found later another vintage copy with different Stampers : RE-7 / RE-8 , and this one is the best i have ever heard ! (It's all about to find the RIGHT REISSUE) in clean shape. This vintage Verve stereo pressing has the kind of Tubey Magical Midrange that modern records can barely BEGIN to reproduce. These sides have wonderful transparency and lovely presence - Astrud’s vocals sound breathy and Getz’s sax is full bodied, with fast transients. So, i don't need any upgrade at this point . Very nice review !!
