I’m so excited. I have never grown Mexican gerkins. I tried them because you all grow and eat them. I started them from seed in my new little greenhouse and tonight. I saw tiny little blossoms and tiny little gerkins. I’m so excited. Thank you. My little urban garden is doing great.
I have read that vanilla can only be extracted with a sovent and not by pressing or heat and is not a true essential oil but an extraction that is not food grade!
I'm sorry to hear about your challenge with chiggers. I wish I had a solution for you, but I don't. We have chiggers as well, but they aren't unbearable. Maybe someone will see your comment and give you some ideas. I hope you find something that helps. Blessings.❤

No, we don't have a dehydrator. We try to stagger when our cows calve so that we always have milk.🙂

How can I tell if my essential oils are food grade?

It's worth a try, but I think the arrowroot flour would still be needed to help hold them together.🙂
