With the current situation in black clover manga shanks crew will have to pack their bags Shanks is hard carrying, Ben hasn’t really done anything and so to have the others not done much and even still. Spoilers but Yami’s new form being able to one shot a Lucius clone is insane and then keeping up with paladin morgan who is confirmed to be stronger than a Lucius clone is straight nasty also Mereleona with her new spell which basically resurrects allies and gives her intangibility is nuts especially when Paladin Morgan cannot touch or affect her even with his ability that affected dorathy’s dream world and concepts in general. Also Nozel with his sliver surfer form was clashing for a short time against paladin Acier grants him extremely good defense however the iron makes it dangerous for everyone including himself and allies. not to mention that Yuno is now a captain of the golden dawn and he has the never never land spell and is currently being as an equal to Asta. Even if you wanted to be charitable to Shanks and his crew and equalize power systems to make haki affect magic the black clover team still has a massive stat advantage especially in speed as shanks is the only one that you can say is relative or stronger than each of them individually and also making the power systems equal also benefits the black clover team as abilities that only affects magic users would now work on shanks crew and even without verse equalization this would hinder shanks even more as while he would still have future sight and durability negation he wouldn’t be able to hinder or counter the affects of magic and even when doing verse equalization he is literally dealing with more than ten strong fighters by himself as his crew is fodder and Ben hasn’t done much for him to last long enough to help shanks. So yeah it isn’t close at all shanks is hard carrying and even still he is losing. A stronger overall yonko crew would have been a better matchup.
Honestly, anime Magic Knight captains got it. Why? Dorothy: Glamor world is on another level compared to what Uta pulled out in One Piece: Red. Akatsuki dominates the Roger pirates. Conquer haki only affects weak willed characters. What is haki its spiritual energy, what is chakra its spiritual energy along with physical energy. Any jutsu the akatsuki uses is essentially haki. Deideras molecular bomb is all that’s needed. Hidan only needs to scratch you to take you out and he can’t die conventionally. Kakuzu is versatile and has great battle iq, Not to mention he can sew body parts back together, irochimaru has a plethora of jutsus to deal with the Roger pirates, kisame can summon a lakes worth of water and has a sword that absorbs spiritual energy, sasori puppet army would be an issue aswell as his poisons. Pain has the rinnegan which is just a game changer. Obito and sasuke are huge issues and then you have support characters like karin who can heal anyone.
Also completely on a different note but I just wanted to mention I’m not mad he picked the sailor scouts over the Golden Saints, but personally, I would lean more to the Golden Saints

DB characters are hitting those multiversal levels by the end of Z, let alone bringing up Super where the power scaling jumps to crazy levels. And that isn't even high balling Dragon Ball either, that is a solid mid range estimate (not quite a low ball, but its also nowhere near a high ball either.).

If a character had complete immunity to mind control, would you hesitate to accept that they would be immune to another character's mind control abilities in a cross verse battle? The only difference here is that it has no limitation in what hacks they are immune to, but has the added limitation on needing to outpower the hack user. It just so happens that the insane power scaling of Dragon Ball makes it so that there are very few hacks users that are actually powerful enough to have their hacks actually work on DB characters.

With the current situation in black clover manga shanks crew will have to pack their bags Shanks is hard carrying, Ben hasn’t really done anything and so to have the others not done much and even still. Spoilers but Yami’s new form being able to one shot a Lucius clone is insane and then keeping up with paladin morgan who is confirmed to be stronger than a Lucius clone is straight nasty also Mereleona with her new spell which basically resurrects allies and gives her intangibility is nuts especially when Paladin Morgan cannot touch or affect her even with his ability that affected dorathy’s dream world and concepts in general. Also Nozel with his sliver surfer form was clashing for a short time against paladin Acier grants him extremely good defense however the iron makes it dangerous for everyone including himself and allies. not to mention that Yuno is now a captain of the golden dawn and he has the never never land spell and is currently being as an equal to Asta. Even if you wanted to be charitable to Shanks and his crew and equalize power systems to make haki affect magic the black clover team still has a massive stat advantage especially in speed as shanks is the only one that you can say is relative or stronger than each of them individually and also making the power systems equal also benefits the black clover team as abilities that only affects magic users would now work on shanks crew and even without verse equalization this would hinder shanks even more as while he would still have future sight and durability negation he wouldn’t be able to hinder or counter the affects of magic and even when doing verse equalization he is literally dealing with more than ten strong fighters by himself as his crew is fodder and Ben hasn’t done much for him to last long enough to help shanks. So yeah it isn’t close at all shanks is hard carrying and even still he is losing. A stronger overall yonko crew would have been a better matchup.

Akatsuki dominates the Roger pirates. Conquer haki only affects weak willed characters. What is haki its spiritual energy, what is chakra its spiritual energy along with physical energy. Any jutsu the akatsuki uses is essentially haki. Deideras molecular bomb is all that’s needed. Hidan only needs to scratch you to take you out and he can’t die conventionally. Kakuzu is versatile and has great battle iq, Not to mention he can sew body parts back together, irochimaru has a plethora of jutsus to deal with the Roger pirates, kisame can summon a lakes worth of water and has a sword that absorbs spiritual energy, sasori puppet army would be an issue aswell as his poisons. Pain has the rinnegan which is just a game changer. Obito and sasuke are huge issues and then you have support characters like karin who can heal anyone.

DB characters are hitting those multiversal levels by the end of Z, let alone bringing up Super where the power scaling jumps to crazy levels. And that isn't even high balling Dragon Ball either, that is a solid mid range estimate (not quite a low ball, but its also nowhere near a high ball either.).

What is to overestimate? We see consistently throughout the series, characters are overpowering hacks with shear power. If a character had complete immunity to mind control, would you hesitate to accept that they would be immune to another character's mind control abilities in a cross verse battle? The only difference here is that it has no limitation in what hacks they are immune to, but has the added limitation on needing to outpower the hack user. It just so happens that the insane power scaling of Dragon Ball makes it so that there are very few hacks users that are actually powerful enough to have their hacks actually work on DB characters.
