Yes , Derrick Henry needs to be a raven. We need another threat in the backfield to hold the defense. So they can't stack the box . Also, a revamped offensive line is needed as well . Get it done, EDC .

What we really need is Lamar to not take so much money or cut him sadly he’s great but we can’t get the weapons HE WANTS when he’s taking every penny. This year every single player is basically leaving we have 5 cb/s in free agency, linebackers are almost all gone, d-line is leaving or wants to leave or want big money, we need receivers besides flowers and Bateman, we need a runningback and our o-line is hot trash. every position besides QB and TE needs to upgraded

Ravens should look at old film of the Pats on how to utilize 2 TEs when it was Hernandez and Gronk, also they should prioritize DH over Saquon, they do better with heavy hitting RBs than quicker backs, ie. Jamal Lewis, Mark Ingram. Ravens have a great team I will probably place a bet on them winning it all if they get another WR (like Keon Coleman) in the draft and a solid DT or DE (Kris Jenkins), and signing Henry to a Deal. I am a Giants fan but every year Ravens win me something every year lol. Beginning of the season placed a LJ8 future bet on MVP and he won it, idc if it was deserved or not, cause 100 to win 1.5k was sweet

Knee jerk reaction … absolutely love it but … looking a bit more into it, Gus Edwards has been in this role for five years now, does a great job and would ask for much less money. I’m not against the move but I think I’d rather have Gus at a much cheaper value than Henry asking for a legit contract

The Ravens way since Ozzie Newsome has been "Right player at the right price." I think a 1 yr deal for Henry in the $8-9M range would be worthwhile. Lamar runs the read option as well as anyone ever has and when he has a solid bruiser RB to pair with his speed, the option is deadly. The 2019 team ran over everyone bc they had a healthy Mark Ingram for most of the season. As soon as Ingram wore down the whole offense started falling apart until the disaster vs TEN in the playoffs. Your weaknesses will always be exposed in the playoffs.
Lastly I have to defend Monken's game plan vs KC. It's very misleading to say Gus averaged 6.2 ypc because he had one run for about 20 yards. The rest of his and Hill's carries averaged less than 2 ypc. Mahomes & Kelce were playing out of their minds (10/10 at one point, remember?). The Ravens' offense needed to keep the chains moving to keep the KC O off the field. The run plays weren't moving the chains. The pass plays were. The pass game was working. The problem was execution. Lamar overthrew guys, there were 2 costly fumbles, etc. Had Lamar hit on 1 or 2 of those deep shots and Zay didn't fumble on the goal line, it's a completely different game. Maybe KC still wins but the narrative definitely wouldn't have been Monken called a poor game.
still only 6 carries for RBs is crazy. Maybe it wasn’t working… but not a big sample size
@@MathisNFL What was working on the ground was Lamar's scrambles. I can't explain why we didn't see more of that. It's the biggest X factor at the Ravens' disposal and KC was missing Willie Gay that game who would've been charged w/ spying Lamar. Lamar forced some throws on plays he should've just taken off running. The difference between winning and losing that game just came down to a few tweaks. It's beyond frustrating when you're on the losing end.

Flowers can do it all but shines with YAC, Bateman is quick enough shown flashes in the slot.
