The explanation for John's geniuness: Having been very close to death, that is to say, more to the other side than here, he has accessed a spiritual realm, that informs him how to write songs.
These are the correct lyrics since so many have got them wrong: Pain runs through life Pleasures’ other side Fear, some say, gives us such long lives Leads us where we drive Time will soon be born It is starting all the dawn And the world is moving towards Things like opposites and wars And one knows to hear birds sing There was nothing till the beginning And the water from my eyes Is because I care who dies Although death is transforming There is nothing after the ending Everything is eternal Nothingness does not exist No thing has ever become nothing And nothing has never become something What is has always been and will always be
I just need to write this here This saved my life. That´s the pure truth. I can die now. No, actually, I can´t. I ´m looking forward to the new CD so much. Thank you with all my heart and soul.
This song opened my eyes to so many things, put this song on and just stand somewhere where you have a nice view, and you'll experience something amazing.
This song kind of seems like it's about rebirth. Like, the whole album is sort of one character's life, without looking into the layers and depths of all the songs. It's a concept album. And the ending of this song where he says there is nothing after the ending is his perception of death, but then the whispers come in and tell you what's really going on. That's just what I think, though.
Finally a new album of john , I listened to all the songs here on youtube, and i think its again a masterpiece! Im going to buy it as soon as it is in stores in the Netherlands.
When listening to this I picture watching cars going by on a road in slow motion, I think that would be an appropriate music video, but amazing pieces of work like this rarely have music videos.
Everything is eternal, nothingness does not exist No thing has ever become nothing Nothing has ever become something Whatever is in someone has been and will always be -John Frusciante
Its a piece that expresses feelings and has carried that out through the whole album, again... it's good because its a good composition, not just because it's Frusciante.. someone from my uni could have written it and I'd still be in love with it. So what music do you listen to? Enlighten me.
alright so heres a wild idea that just popped into my head, ive got my own personal amateur recording studio, theres lots of other people with their own as well, i say: one person records a rythm n emails it to someone else, they record over it something email it to someone else n so forth, we end off with some fucking crazy ass music, anyone down?
I think John's style is amazing. It's pretty amazing how he's encorperated modern technology into his works and how they are so differnt from RHCP but are still great nonetheless. I think better, just my opinion.
I'd like to know exactly how are By the way, Californication and Stadium arcadium the same in any way? Only thing in common is that they're more 'mellow' than their former albums.
This song shows how open minded and how clever John Frusciante actually is, the whole album is the same. But if that's your comment to this song.. then you wouldn't understand what I'm talking about, you don't understand real music and real artists.
Pain, runs through Life Pleasure is sad Fear, some say This is all to a life Eludes us, when we try Time will soon be gone It is starting at the dawn And the planet is moving toward Things like darknesses and wars And no those to hear and see There was nothing 'til the begining, yeah And the water through my life is because I care who dies Although death is true for me there is nothing after the ending (whispered)... Everything is eternal Nothingness does not exist No thing has ever become nothing Nothing has ever become something Whatever is in someone has been and will always be
The last decade was terrible? In the last 12 years, they have produced 3 best-selling albums, which have received awards and very good critics, being concidered among the best rock albums of its time. I think you are one of few that holds that view.. But behind every great band there is always a small number of people complaining how they were better before they became "mainstream" and really popular.. that doesn't change their music
RHCP was the best at the begining they had funk style but stadium arcadium isnt the worst , the worst song in my opinion is otherside i herd version when drums was like techno beat and its the more famous stupid pop teenege song. sorry but my english is bad.
So what is "real music". Do I have to listen to weird sad trance music and be up my own ass? Aside from it being completely different from what he normally does, how does it show how open minded and clever he is. Just because it's John Frusciante doesn't make it automatically good. Also it's an opinion thing and thinking your music is more "real" or superior to somebody else's is incredibly arrogant. Not to mention you have no idea what music I listen to.
This song is fucking boring. It's so depressing but it has no soul and doesn't go anywhere. It's like a bad King Crimson song with a touch of Christian rock. I'm glad he's not a drug addict anymore but man... I wish he did more stuff with Mars Volta
The whole album is sheer beauty but this track alone is worth the price of the cd.
this music makes me happy. it is the happy radio music that makes me depressed
this.
So spiritual, so emotional. This album opened my mind.
The explanation for John's geniuness:
Having been very close to death, that is to say, more to the other side than here, he has accessed a spiritual realm, that informs him how to write songs.
That drumwork is incredible.
I needed that laugh... I was like hmmm... where's it at?
These are the correct lyrics since so many have got them wrong:
Pain runs through life
Pleasures’ other side
Fear, some say, gives us such long lives
Leads us where we drive
Time will soon be born
It is starting all the dawn
And the world is moving towards
Things like opposites and wars
And one knows to hear birds sing
There was nothing till the beginning
And the water from my eyes
Is because I care who dies
Although death is transforming
There is nothing after the ending
Everything is eternal
Nothingness does not exist
No thing has ever become nothing
And nothing has never become something
What is has always been and will always be
AT the dawn
if I'm not mistaken
Thanks, I believe you are correct. Wish I could edit my old post...
+EastTNSurvivalist "And one knows to hear birds sing"
such beautiful words
I feel like at the end when he is whispering those words, it is like he is saying a prayer.
@@jimmyharmony-eleven8455 darknesses * not opposites, does no one agree?
One of Johns greatest creations, and one of the best pieces of music ever made
I just need to write this here
This saved my life. That´s the pure truth.
I can die now.
No, actually, I can´t. I ´m looking forward to the new CD so much.
Thank you with all my heart and soul.
"Time will soon be born, it is starting at the dawn" beautiful part of the song!
the more knowledge you seek, the less you will understand
This song opened my eyes to so many things, put this song on and just stand somewhere where you have a nice view, and you'll experience something amazing.
Le meilleur artiste. Merveilleuse musique.

Fran Garba gracias por comentar esto 😄
ce morceau me renvoie a tellement de choses...tellement magnifique....

This concludes perhaps the greatest concept album since Pink Floyd's The Wall. I enjoyed every moment of time that I invested in it.
chills...
Finally a new album of john , I listened to all the songs here on youtube, and i think its again a masterpiece! Im going to buy it as soon as it is in stores in the Netherlands.
beautiful poetry
This song is pure goosebumpness.
And the water from my eyes
Is because I care who dies
Although death is transforming
There is nothing after the ending...
i think this one song really encompasses what john is all about.
i wish he could be in the band and make solo records like he has been doing.
This is just a genius ending to a genius album. It's the antithesis of "Before The Beginning". Perfection. Frusciante you beauty!
Also, if you have johns full discography on your iPod and you go to All Songs, this ones first. trippy.
Amazing. The end sounds just like Shine on you Crazy Diamond !!
When listening to this I picture watching cars going by on a road in slow motion, I think that would be an appropriate music video, but amazing pieces of work like this rarely have music videos.
at the high pitch parts i jizzed in my pants. thats how amazing this album is!
"And the water from my eyes is because I care who dies" we love you from Spain
i love him
And the water from my eyes, is because I care who dies
when i listen to this song late at night with my headphones on in my dark room, the drum at the end nearly always makes me blink
perfect reply to a perfect commentary for a perfect song of a perfect album in a perfect universe created by a perfect God
The album is really good, and this songs really reflect my feeling for his music. As a comment just said it's stupid, ugly, beautiful and amazing.
Everything is eternal, nothingness does not exist
No thing has ever become nothing
Nothing has ever become something
Whatever is in someone has been and will always be
-John Frusciante
Fru is like priest signing from pulpit :)
love this
2:02 YeeeeeeeYEEEES!
This song has helped me cope with the death of my father, grandparents and two of my uncles
I love this song... I also noticed that after the last line, "What is has always been and will always be" the drum beat always makes me blink.
This is exactly how I feel about it
Its a true shame something this amazing has so few views in comparison to the bullshit that's on top of the charts these days.
I agree totally!
Love
there we go. finally a chili peppers fan that shares my views. i wouldve left too if i was john.
we want a liveeeeeeeee show...pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee
I love this man this album is his take about GOD
yes, Peace
@Anth0ny85 i love the old stuff too but seriously have you heard the guitar in stadium...that albums awesome man. its pop but pop at its best man
If only I had something like a recorging studio *-* I would join in a second!
Its a piece that expresses feelings and has carried that out through the whole album, again... it's good because its a good composition, not just because it's Frusciante.. someone from my uni could have written it and I'd still be in love with it.

i believe the lyrics to be "no thing has ever become nothing. Nothing has NEVER become something."

Look up his song called ( Become )

fuck man... this is amazing. i'm totally blowed. this man has an open mind...
I've been everywhere and seen everything
this is how i imagine death
I think John's style is amazing. It's pretty amazing how he's encorperated modern technology into his works and how they are so differnt from RHCP but are still great nonetheless. I think better, just my opinion.
nice high notes!
I'd like to know exactly how are By the way, Californication and Stadium arcadium the same in any way?

@Hallucination Cool, good for you..
good idea thrash, gotta give a time slot or something for each person and give a key or chord sequence as a back bone :)
yea im down....and i like the idea a lot....like an 8 minute track maybe....can be trippy
This song reminds me the elf music
Godogod wat hou ik hier van
i love funyuns
Ale byłoby miło, gdyby tak się stało :D
I hear somehow, somewhere in there 'Echoes' (Pink Floyd)
@comradehess this is true, and is probably john's feelings too
death is transforming*
When an artist leaves you..............?
Although death is transforming
There is nothing after the ending
sometimes i couldnt tell if it was high notes or a guitar playing
hah..before the beginning and after the ending..
lets get high
Honestly. I had to laugh at this. Haha!
Hoho!
Although death is truth for me
There is nothing after the ending
hahahahaha
the final is a little bit scary :v
haha
@MatheusC20H25N3O I absolutely adore RHCP's stuff, but I agree with you. I've come to prefer John's solo material.
Really powerful, amazing song. Shame that the vocal effects make it really hard to cover effectively.
it sounds like a cat at like 1:15 and 1:20
This song shows how open minded and how clever John Frusciante actually is, the whole album is the same. But if that's your comment to this song.. then you wouldn't understand what I'm talking about, you don't understand real music and real artists.
spiritualty
meow
No intetion to spread disorder, but I like John's stuff way better than RHCP. Am I alone?

It is starting at the dawn
And the planet is moving toward

And no those to hear and see
There was nothing 'til the begining, yeah

@MatheusC20H25N3O No, not at all. Im a pretty big rhcp fan and I WAY prefer Johns solo stuff.
