I think Windrunner Necklace is an aura effect. Meaning, it gives the leftmost minion +8 attack, but after that minion dies, the buff passes to the new leftmost minion, and after that dies, the buff passes again, until all your minions die. If you leftmost minion at the start is a scallywag, it would be a 11/1, but after it attacks and dies, the 1/1 token it summons should inherit the buff - since it becomes the new left most minion - and become a 9/1 instead. After it dies, the buff would pass on to the new left most minion, and so on.
Windrunner Necklace applies to your leftmost minion as an aura. If your current leftmost minion dies, that buff moves to a different one. On pirates that summon 1/1s that attack immediately, those 1/1s might be the ones to be buffed

Hopefully the trinkets will make pirates more competitive, I tend to avoid them because they definitely lack the power of other tribes. Ready for the meta to be shook up!
Was hoping they'd do absolutely anything to help pirates match up against the insane ramp other tribes get and am entirely underwhelmed. Can't remember the last time I ever saw pirates make it to the end of the game.
how did they not make a pirate or 2 that are trinket based… “makes the next trinket 2 gold cheaper” “steal a random trinket your next opponent controls” something along those lines… just saying… pirates… trinkets… seems like a missed opportunity somewhere
Hugely! Something silly like "Counterfeit Trinket" At the start of every turn discover a copy of one of your opponents trinkets! It might be broken, it might be trash, but I am sure it would be fun at least!
Ya know Jeef is just going crazy about Lubber back on three. Maybe not though, because I'm not sure it can be abused without certain spells on t2 and t3, but, if there is something overlooked by blizz, Jeef will find and he will exploit it, no doubt
I am not sure it is that good, but I can not think of a similar effect. Al'akir says your left most minion, BUT that also says start of combat. If that is the case it is better, but I still do not love it.
@@Heretic721 Yes lol, keep the guy the same but add some murloc tattoos to him and it will be perfect. I'm pretty handy photo shop and could slap some on him if you send me a copy of the image
100% agree on the card design. This ice fisher not only looks off his tribe, but also looks like tier 1 or 2 minion. the 6 drops should look more impressive. you did it way better and you are not even a graphic designer!
Compared to Beasts, Undead, Quillboar, Elementals, and Mechs? No! Pirates have always been weak, and nothing here makes them in the least bit more sustainable. They are a path to other tribes, only! That being said, they are still good for High Rolling cards for your Duos Teamate.

That's how I read it as well. Would be a decent sleeper trinket for sure if it can high roll

Hey Heretic, about Ship in a Bottle. It works like Y'Shaarj's hero power. If you have space, it will summon a minion. If you don't - it won't.
Seems kind of meh if that is the case... to say the least a bit underwhelming.

Thorn Captain is broken, and doesn't benefit from Pirate Tribe cards.
