Tasteful ! Really like this demo and the sounds used. . A neighbour send me a mail that he has one for sale. hearing this demo on the youtubez, I think this is one fun purchase. . Thumbs up.
Funny synth, SY22 was my first synth ever and swapped to TG33. Funny synth, because it doesn't synthesize much, there's no filters, you cannot control sound parameters live - except with the "Dynamic Vector Synthesis"... It would be really cool with some FM editing instead of preset FM patches... but then, it's not so complicated and it has its character. It's a keeper. EDIT: beautiful music!
Hi, many (unluckily..) years ago there was a webpage describing in deep various synth. There was a page for this with a little file to be used with Sounddiver synth editor, if memory helps me. It was called "adaptation". Interesting description . It was meant to hack the FM section so to edit it a little.
If I am not wrong there are some free patches on the web, try Google for them. And there should be a "random" button on this module to try and get some good new presets.
Please sir I have a question. I have same Yamaha TG33 ..please how it work.? Can i connect it with midi keyboard? I need a sound cartidge or there is a sounds on it? Thanks
Hello! Yes, this module has its internal waveforms and is meant to be used with keyboards and computer with a MIDI interface! You can link an hardware or software arpeggiator, using it with a computer DAW for audio and MIDI composing, and so on. If memory helps there should be a "random" button to try to have new sounds in a moment, some beautiful, some interesting, some ugly😄. So You can save them in a memory preset, paying attention not to erase some presets in the synth memory that you like.... There is no filter, no resonance but this little synth is beautiful on its own. And I think the price would be low. There is a flat card slot for new waveforms or just memory presets, I am not too sure. Pay attention to standard voltage in your country if You are going to purchase one. Here in Italy is 220V, In other countries is 110V, so check if the external power supplier (I am almost sure there is one) is suitable for voltage in Your country. Hope it helps😊
Awesome demo! the most fun and magical Synthesizer I had the pleasure to try, I miss it so much, excellent recordings, pure enjoyment ❤️
I had one of these when it first came out, and now have its big brother SY35. One of the most interesting synths ever, and easy to program too!
I just picked one of these up at a garage sale for 10 bucks. oooohhh boy.
whaaaat? so lucky, good for you! 😃

Do you have these patches anywhere for download? Or are they stock? I can't get mine to sound this good 😅
They should be stock presets. Of course altered with some edit/tweaking. I may upload them if I remember in the future, it’s other place now.
