Iceland without tourists. I take the time to explore Iceland during the 2020 world closure due to...well...you know.
I explore the emptiness of this pristine land together with my sexy boyfriendo @LeonTheAlchemist.
We explore the entirety of the #Iceland ring road in a van (#VanLife), including the Westfjords (total cost of fuel was $420 USD). There were lots of natural hotsprings to be found, endless empty roads, the most touristy spots, including Gullfoss, Dettifoss, Dynjandi, Skogafoss, Myvatn, Seljalandsfoss, Jokusarlon glacier and more, all empty.
Enjoy and please drop in a comment as it helps with the algorithm :)

I couldn't bring myself to ask in this video for you to comment to help the algorithm...but if you're reading this and you enjoyed this MAGNIFICENT video, please do drop a little somethin' below as I'd love more people to see these INCREDIBLE visuals in this video. Have a great day friends!
Sorelle Amore how can I add subtitles in spanish?? I’ve seen some youtubers ask their subscribers to subtitle their videos. I’d really love if I could subtitle this one for you (and for my parents to see and understand what your saying😅) I know a lot of people would benefit from the subtitles too
It’s an amazing video, really, thank you for filming❤️
Thank you for all the immensely beautiful moments you've captured and shared in this video ♥️ I'm very proud, happy and inspired by you and your work. Thank you!
✨🙌🏻
Your best video Sorelle! Such a magnificent work! It felt so real but also movie-like. You are special in this area❤️
Thank you for showing all this beauty, it transports me into another place, away from the sadness and the -necessary- anger that's around me (I am in New York City).
This is such a positive spin on the whole pandemic situation! Imagine how free the people of Iceland must have felt, having so much piece and quiet after YEARS of non stop tsunamis of tourists! Not to mention the impact on nature and wildlife ❤️Thank you for showing this wonder to the world 🙏
we are very thankful we got some peace from the world, not to sound bitchy lmao
This is the true version of Iceland, like experiencing childhood memories all over again
Living on Argentina is a whole other story tho... I still try to be positive but living on a place as beautiful as iceland doesn't compare at all.
It would be interesting to know what business owners who lives only on tourism think......
Yeah but I bet they don't miss the years of ripping people off blind by charging so much for everything!
This video gave me the chills! Beautifully made !!
This video almost made me cry because of how beautiful it is 🥺😍
You, recording yourself playing piano, and actually using the audio on the video, says a lot about how you infuse your feelings in what you create. Can't say much other than I just love it! Keep going Sorelle! You're just an amazing human being :)
The beauty of this video is that is hits you without hurting, it opens your eyes without pushing you in a place of discomfort and it makes you feel the incredible power of Nature without actually being there.
Iceland is unreal and what a way to capture it...2020 has been hard but the most fulfilling and really made us collectively see everything for what it is..and for that I'm grateful!
Also my God I hope everyone watches from around 4:40 inwards. That's the gold.
Yep appreciate it so much u did capture such a rare moments where there is no tourists interfering these breathtaking shots LOL 😆 Covid reminds us that we need mother nature, but mother nature can do without us 😉 XOXO, love from Indonesia Sorelle! 🤩 your video helped me forget about work for a bit thanks!
ohhh myy that was breathtaking i had goosebumps all over the place thank you for excisting sorelle
Nahhh...I enjoyed watching from the beginning. ^^ >:D
44 🌈✨
It looks like a National Geographic episode, those amazing shots were gorgeous.
thanks so much Sorelle! I've never really even looked into Iceland much but now this seems like such an amazing place to visit! On a different note, I love the emotion that you put into this video. As a wildlife conservationist, hunter, and outdoor enthusiast I want nothing more than to share the kind of feeling that we get when we reunite with nature in a healthy and non-damaging way. You did so well doing that in this video!!
this video is sooooo beautiful, so pure! i’m so fascinated by the country, by the views, by the nature, by your incredible joy, by you! i love what you do and always admire your work! take care, sorelle! ❤️
Thank you for this video. The sheer hapiness, gratitude and humbleness made me cry. What a beautiful time we live in, in which we can experience so much joy in this world.
You are the kind of vbloggers that I can’t just audio or listen too. Your videos are exceptionally visually and stimulant. Thank you.
You are so inspiring to me.. there is something so beautiful and refreshing about your spirit. I am 25 years old and I seriously don't know what I'm doing with my life but when I watch your videos i feel as if i can conquer the world. Thank you so much for everything 😊
cinematography and artistry in this video is over the roof. always top tier content but in recent months the videos just keep getting more stunning.
Completely blown away by this. You're an incredible storyteller and have reminded me once again why you're one of my favourite UA-cam creators.
Goosebumps through the whole video, absolutely beautiful! I don't want to be one of the many tourists which will run over Iceland after the pandemic, but also really want to see this amazing landscape with my own eyes...
Exactly what I feel about traveling there.
So beautiful. I can’t even express how this video made me feel. Your narration brought tears to my eyes (and I don’t cry easily). So pure! 🥰💫🤗
This vid gave me goosebumps. I fell in love with Iceland since watching Vikings and I can understand why Floki found his spiritual calling upon discovering this place... Thank you for bringing these footages to us as well as the message x
No actually it began from Sigur Ros lol
This is just how I remember my childhood roadtrips around Iceland, just me, my brothers, my parents and mother nature
Sorrelle, you're my light!! Thank you for creating your craft and being exactly who you are.
These videos are iconic. Keep em’ coming! 🤘🏻🙏🏻
I retired in early March. I feel like I was born again! Free from the stress, the hurry and the imbalance. This video was absolutely gorgeous. Nothing beats nature.
I’ve been watching your content for a while (years maybe?), which is really what inspired me to want to visit Iceland one day. It’s crazy to see the country empty again and less touristy, like it was in the first couple of videos you had of it. Safe travels!
This is just stunning. It's lovely to see a positive spin on the pandemic and the scenery you showed was jaw dropping. We're hoping that there is lasting positive change on the other side of all this 🙏
This is incredible! Seeing the raw beauty nature holds brought tears to my eyes.
Thanks for such a beautiful video Sorelle. It was so wonderful to see all those locations tourist free!! Wonderful. Thank you for sharing this before you set off into your next journey!
The raw beauty of Iceland is absolutely mind-blowing! Seeing it in its purest version without all the tourists is so incredibly unique, thank you Sorelle.
Iceland seems like the perfect place for me, when I imagine a life with no worries, iceland is always on my vision.
Iceland is supposed to be my 1st list for traveling this year. It's absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for those amazing shots. Such a unique country.
Absolutely beautiful. A work of art, Sorelle. Thank you for reminding us to breathe, and for seeing what we are grateful for. You make me so happy just watching you be happy. Someday I will visit Iceland. Bucket list add. Peace and Love Sister!
I just cannot stop watching this. This is so sincere and heartfelt that I cannot put into words how you made me feel. In particular the message in the end, just... wow...
I haven`t been a tourist in my home country for nearly 30 years and it`s wonderful to see how it used to be. Thank you so much for this video Sorelle
I think this was your rawest and most beautiful video, Sorelle! 🤍 I am so glad you could experience this one time opportunity and thank you for sharing these glimpses of a resting mother nature 🤍 Love from the Swedish mountains!
Such a beautiful video and message, as always Sorelle! Iceland is definitely on my list of places to visit, but I completely agree with what you´re saying. If anything, this pandemic has taught us that we need to slow down, that we need to look after the people closest to us better, that family is irreplaceable, and time outdoors, a medicine for the soul. Take care, and keep up the good work, greetings from Scotland! :)
Such a gorgeous video! I wholeheartedly agree to all that you are saying about this being a time of coming back to what is true, to love ourselves and nature and to nurture ourselves and nature. Much love to you and Leon! Thank you so much for this gift!
Wowww! Soo glad you could experience this Paradise on Earth..😍 The visuals are phenomenal, Sorelle! ❤️❤️
It's time we realize how deeply our lives are interlinked with Mother Nature and every action counts! 😊
Thank you for being you Sorelle. You will never know how much you have impacted my life.. but Thank you.
Amazing, I go to Iceland most years by myself for small holidays, its my favourite place on the earth. Cant wait to go back
How absolutely wonderful for you. I’m missing Iceland like crazy. In your video I spied my favorite spot in the whole wide world, Ísafjörður! I recognized it all, even down to the swing.
I have been following you for years and because of your fantastic videos I had the pleasure of spending 10 days in Iceland 2 years ago. When WOW airlines had those fantastic Iceland fares! I am planning another trip when this covid issue subsides. Thank you for your years of wonderful information, entertainment and love that you emit.
I had to watch this twice. Thank you for sharing Iceland through your eyes during this time. Nature at it’s best!
This is so lovely! I'm from brazil, so you can just imagine how bad things are around here. I'm in self quarantine since march (while most people are not taking the disease seriously...) and I used to believe myself to be a homebody, but now I'm CRAVING the sun and just walking in the park and stuff. I guess even the most reclusive of us needs to enjoy outside once in a while!
Love this video! Iceland is truly so BEAUTIFUL and it is my dream to live there one day! Sorelle Amore you inspire me so much! I love photography and traveling seeing videos like this really keeps me focused on what I want to do in life which is doing what I love to do. Can’t wait for more videos💜
Despite this horrible situation I'm glad that the nature was able to regenerate itself a little bit without the human interference 💛💛💛 I hope that we pay attention and don't go back to normal, but progress forward from here 💛
Totally agree with you karla we have to respect our beautiful planet its all we have if one good thing came out of this terrible virus its the fact that we were not able to travel to other places so yes our planetis starting to breathe again 🌏🌏
Made my heart sing - your message and the stunning scenery!! Connected me to why I fell in love with Iceland when I visited in 2009 for my dream trip. There were hardly any tourists back then even in June! I've been longing to return and when I do, I will come find you, Sorelle ! Not in a creepy way, lol, but to say hello! I've loved your whole vibe since stumbling upon you in April, at a time when I most needed your inspiration in my life.. keep doing you, this was wonderful
You know, a place with no tourists or just few locals, that is something I would truly enjoy. I've been to few places where there's no one in a beautiful beach or island and I absolutely enjoy my time on it.
@Rosa, I agree!!! I love such places
This was such a BEAUTIFUL video. Made me feel all warm n' fuzzy feelings. Thanks Sorelle.
This is what everyone thinks they will experience when going to Iceland. These images and videos you took are breathtaking. So thank you!
Love this so much thanku for sharing. I was in Iceland in January, it was the first time I've ever travelled solo and I fell in love twice while I was there. Once with Iceland and then again with a fellow traveller and we are now in a relationship. I am so jealous of u being able to see Iceland while theres no tourists there. It's such a beautiful place I cant wait to go again and your video makes me want to go even more now lol xx
So many epic visuals that only make me want to visit Iceland more! So beautiful to see wildlife and nature making a stronger comeback.
Was in Iceland last July and the tourists ,like me ,were bad but I fell in love with everything about it. Also found it a lot emptier if you go visit places very late because it is still light but most tourists are asleep. I can see why locals would be annoyed but the hype about Iceland is so true. Gorgeous, great people, easy to get around. Hope to come back in winter some day.
I will hopefully see the beauty of Iceland with my own eyes in the future. So much nature, so much to see and take in. Thanks for sharing xx
That is such a unique experience to be the only people camper vanning around Iceland. The crowds have been so overwhelming lately but this summer hopefully Icelanders will get to know their country again.
Of course this has had a devastating effect on so many people here who depend on the tourists but I am sure they will be back..
Greetings from Iceland.
Sorelle, the deep and empowering messages you give in this video (and behind every other video you do) always inspires me and reminds me that there is so much more to life and that we have the power in ourselves to create the most beautiful life we want!! I love your content and your positive energy your bring to each of your videos!! Thanks so much for being such an awesome inspiration to myself and others!! I hope to visit Iceland one day and enjoy its nature :)
Absolutely bREATHTAKING!!! Amazing amazing edit wow
It's indeed a magnificent video! Thanks for sharing those dope footage to experience Island without being an anoying tourist xp I hope I'll be able to find some time to have such a break in nature. I loved seeing your happy faces !
This video was wonderful to watch, I think you've outdone yourself here! Thank you for taking the time to document such a unique time in Iceland and sharing it with us so we can virtually experience it. It's gotten me even more excited to get back into mother nature on a few camping trips when things start opening up again.
Sorelle... you told this story so beautiful. Your philosophy is magnificent and it always opens my mind. More of this please. Wow. I’m going to take a shower now and dream of landing in Iceland (again).
Nice video. I liked seeing you playing keyboard outside. :) And getting a peek into the scenery of Iceland was amazing.
thank u sorelle, for just existing and sharing ur light ✨ lots of love n light
It is insane to see a place so quiet and so always beautiful! I feel like we are watching the behind the scenes!
I felt the exact same!
You're kidding me, it felt like a freaking movie! Well done Sorelle, such a freaking professional but also allowing us to feel this spontaneity! Mesmerizing ❤️
What an incredible video! Iceland looks stunning; I have always loved your personality and your take on the beautiful life we live on this beautiful planet 💙🌎 Thank you so much for being true to you and for sharing!
Love love love! Thank you for the stunning shots of Iceland. So nice to see you walking over some places I've stepped and still hold in my heart. Ahh, magical Iceland.
The scenes of Iceland are so beautiful, also thank you the uplifting words 🙏 in order to heal and grow, must be done with love.
The audio!! The cinematography!! The storytelling!! Yessssssss
The rainbows near the waterfalls are adorable 🌈❤️
IT'S PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!! EEEP!
You are such an inspiration. I recently found your channel and I love love love it! The world needs more people like you. Thank you 🙏🏻 🥰🌸✨💫💗
OMG what a magical country!!! And you make it even more magical with your photos and editing!!! Thank you!!!!
This is beautiful. All of it. The scenery and your positive words of encouragement. ❤️ Love your energy and your creative work!
I can’t wait to visit Iceland and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, explore the country, and experience what an incredible place it must be. Stay safe everything, sending blessings to everyone out there 🙏🏼
This is a masterpiece. It made me cry, dream, wonder, wish, remember pieces of my clean and wonderful childhood not in Iceland but in a little spot in east Europe which to me felt like a fairytale...
Just wanted to say I've always loved your videos. When I was in Iceland two years ago I really wondered what it would be like without the hordes of tourists, now I know. Wish I was there...
The amount of beauty in one video is overwhelming
Oh my gosh... so beautiful... great job on another great video! Ugh! How is nature so amazing??? 💙
I could watch this video thousand times and repeat it again! So beautiful! Mother Nature ❤️
My favorite video so far. So cinematic and your personnel element makes this lit! Congrats 🎊
I have been feeling very trapped recently.... I live in NZ, where it is basically free from the illness at the moment, but I have a travel bug that does not want to leave! I have lived in Switzerland for a lot of my formative years, and it has shaped the way I view nature and culture immensely. Seeing this Iceland video makes me want to feel that way again.
this is pure gold! thank you so much for capturing the beauty of this place. love your positivity even in a time like now
Guuuurl, i'm getting the cinema vibes with that content! And i loooove it! You're doing so great and evolve like a pokemon! Wow, just wow!!
Cried my eyes out. This place is magical, your words were touching and true. Your energy is so pure! thank you!! Hopefully I'll get there in August and have a whole month to explore before uni starts, really can't wait :)
I could never live there bc of the cold but it does seem wonderful. (I'm from Argentina and here it doesn't ever get really cold like there, I have only seen snow once in my 19 years where I live)
Thank you so much for this. I have been to Iceland twice and the first visit was pretty WOW, then the second visit just a few years later and so many more tourists and we didn't enjoy it much at all in fact. Your video brings back the good memories for us. And your artistic and even more so strategy in doing this video is genius.
oh, and my hubby and I are older with young children; but during this covid time one of the aspects we have seen which give us the most hope and joy is when we see couples connect to experience it together. whether for love or friendship etc ... so thank you also for that.
This is how I remember my home, I used to travel around every year until the turist boom.....almost made me want to move back to Iceland great video
Beautiful. I love your poetic way of talking, the words at the end really hit home, thank you as always xxx
I'm a 2020 graduate going into the worst job market since the Great Depression, and this is what I watch when I get stressed out. Thank you.
You have been my inspiration since like 2018 up until now💕 thank you for the awesome and inspiration content. I hope that people would appreciate more of these incredible videos of yours😊.
I love Iceland. Spent a week in Akureyri, and fell in love. Would love to go back one day and explore more of that beautiful country. I also love your videos 🤗💛
How was it's?
Definitely the most beautiful and unique country in the world. Was in Iceland for three days with my husband in January 2019, and fell in love so we booked another trip to go back in March this year & see more of the outstanding nature Iceland has to offer. Because of the virus, we were forced to cancel our holiday two days (!) in advance. It hurt. It hurt a lot. Now we could reschedule for October so we did, and we hope it will go ahead this time. And we will enjoy and appreciate it a lot more than we would have otherwise in March. I love Iceland and with it Icelandic music such as Sigur Rós and Ásgeir. I enjoyed the video, thank you :)
My family was making arrangements to visit Iceland this summer when COVID hit. We will definitely still go, but now with a delay. Thanks for keeping the dream alive!
My reaction to this video is just wow!♥️ If 2019 is for people, now 2020 is for Nature♥️
Iceland is so beautiful... seriously just driving in those lonely roads and looking at the absolutely majestic landscape was inspiring. I was shocked with its chaotic beauty, even with all the tourists. I went in March so I guess there weren't THAT many of us tourists, except on the waterfalls, those were full always.
Dynjandi is so beautiful
Such a heartwarming video, loved the visuals, the music, your words. Simply an incredible video and a much more incredible message
I love the editing in this, and what you said at the end really resonated with me, thank you for sharing your positivity and perspective!
The video/photography is spot on -MAGNIFICENT!!! And the editing is excellent!! Watching you I learn so much -thank you!! 🙏
Just wow...I was in Iceland 2 years ago and that looks like a completely different country! Although we timed it to where there weren't nearly as many tourists at the time as the mid summery months I would imagine. These are some absolutely incredible images Sorelle and loved the message as always. Thanks for sharing!
I did the exact same thing two weeks ago and I'm so grateful I lived in this country this year, it was awesome and this video brings so good memories already
I was in Iceland two years ago and can’t wait to get back someday. I love your videos so much!
This was like a short film with incredible cinematography! I really enjoyed watching this - thank you Sorelle!!
