Oh I like all things colour. It’s fascinating. I got sick of black. Thinking I might be some other season I donated nearly all of my black clothing. Then I find out I’m winter. I’ve managed to get over all of it but one black shorts suit. I’m still crying internally.
I am NOT jealous of winters. I am a very loud and proud spring.
Same, but I’m a Summer. Love my color season.
I went to the Talbots Outlet store yesterday and I was struck by how much of their clothing was blue, watermelon, purple and turquoise!
I have noticed in the past couple years that Talbots is almost totally for winters or very high contrast people….which is sadly why I don’t find much there anymore but if you are deep or clear, it is a goldmine!
Thanks for the timely advice. I have been subscribing to capsule wardrobes but think I will create my own this summer. The last one I did in the spring had Light Cool colors for the Soft people (and I am Warm and Soft) and too many trends recommended that I don’t like. With what I am learning here, I am feeling way more equipped to make my own capsule 🎨
Wearing blazers in my town is not exactly a look that fits in
I had cute leather kitten heels in jalapeno green at one time. I could wear those with so many colors. I am a blonde summer who wore an awfully lot of jewel tones in those days. I don't even like green but those shoes were the best.
I am a natural autumn I am so happy you showed some wonderful colors. I booked marked this page so I can share it with my strawberry blond-haired sisters. I really appreciate your videos!!!!
I wish fashion brands would make lines that offer colors for every season. At least the home seasons.
This is a great guide to mix proper colours, as I love colours in an outfit!! Thanks
❤❤Love you ladies!!
Love love love❤
Loving the both of you keep on the exellent work 😍🤩🌼
You are great
Maybe 🤔 I’d like cleaning the house more if I was wearing that body suit 😂💃🏻!
Love the capsule wardrobe concept ❤
Love this video
That was fun. Thanks
I love your glasses Lucinda. I enjoyed the video today as it seems less daunting to figure out your own colors by this capsule method
I love the winter colors I know Athena will like the spring colors I won’t give up my black and sis hasn’t missed it in two years.
Thank you 😊
Ya’ll are so much fun!! Who doesn’t ❤ a Taylor Swift body suit?!?!
This video was very helpful. I’m still not positive about where I fit among the seasons. (Right now I’m leaning toward Warm Spring.) But the hair color match was inspiring. Thank you both!
Well hello you beautiful people! I am totally here for your challenge and have subscribed, as I've found several of your videos very helpful - and entertaining so far.
So here's a question from a Bright Winter from the German Alps. I need a lot of layers, even in the summer. How do I compose a capsule that most frequently needs a top, a bottom, and a layer, AND often a jacket too. And shoes, obviously.
Do you have guidelines for choosing colors for each "level", like should all my accessories be "safe basic colors" so that they go with any outfit? All my jackets neutral? All my layers dark, all tops in the "WoW" colors?
My reasoning is that inside a capsule, any top should go with any bottom piece, and any pair of shoes, maximizing the possible outfits out of the available pieces. I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this.
PS, i was very sad to learn the reason why orange and beige makes me look like an axolotl, and no amount of make up can compensate for it. So I'm learning to do like Elsa and Let it go.
I’m autumn and have eliminated most black and white from my wardrobe. It’s difficult but it forces me to be selective when purchasing. Swimwear is tough. 90% of plus sized swimwear is black or cool toned.
I'm an autumn too & I've dyed my white blouses into off white, using tea. I like them more now. I don't have black tops (never liked them, even when I didn't know abt color seasons) but I have black pants/ trousers because they're my neutrals (and easier to buy in my area). Cheers!
@@kitty_s23456 that’s a great idea! I’m going to dye my white shirts with tea! Thank you!
The color wheel and Pinterest examples are great for visualisation. I've watched most of your vids and have now subscribed. I hope you reach your target of 5k subs soon! Will you be doing a giveaway/ raffle draw? Lol. Cheers!
I have an entire closet of black shoes because that's all they make in 6 to 6.5 W or WW! And COVID meant a large reduction of choices for me. Talbots, which was a go-to site for non-black cute shoes discontinued their entire Wide range. The Me Too company, which makes fabulous ballet flats for dancers, etc. with a padded insole also discontinued wides in all sizes. Sites for plus-ladies' fashion normally don't go below a size 7. I hate "vegan" shoes because they don't breathe.
Oh man. I’m an 11W but I think you may have it worse. I’m sorry. 😞
@@rebeccab452 My bff has size 10AA (before 2 pregnancies, it was 9.5AAAA). Oddly enough, we normally end up wearing the same shoes.
Have you tried Conform View or Propet? Both carry extra wide shoes in some colors and fairly current styles.
@@lieslforbes6631 Propet is great for very casual shoes, but I haven't been impressed with their workmanship within the last 3 years or so. I've never heard of the other brand, so thanks for the suggestion, I'll search for them!
@@lieslforbes6631 Excuse me, but would that be Comfort View?
If my salt and pepper still has some brown hair that went red in the sun would I still be a winter I also have about 10 eyebrow hairs which are light brown and I'm pale so I don't see much contrast? 😂
Hi. You were probably winter but are now a "soft". They released a vid abt soft a few weeks ago.
I enjoy this channel, but I just don’t buy that people change seasons…
Random question what about your other account?? Why this new one?
Twoid 😂😂😂😂😂
Please, can we talk about the ash brown summers that don’t have enough contrast to be winters, but are not blondes?
I’m pretty sure there are more of us than blondes. You never show us in your videos, and it feels a bit one-dimensional. Not all summers are blondes 🤷♀️
My hair is ash brown. I'm not sure if I'm a True or Soft Summer, but regardless, I still feel the same way.
I’m a summer and my hair does not fit into any of these categories because its a kind of taupe grey, with some strands of grey. I do feel inspired by this to put some capsule colours together though, to match my hair.
While I enjoyed the video, ash brown Summer's were not represented. I agree, not all Summer's are blonde and we cannot handle the contrast that Winter's can.
