Another great one. Never wanted to relocate somewhere as bad as I want to go to NZ every time I watch one of Ollie’s vids. Grown up hunting, fishing, spear fishing in Texas and New Zealand looks like absolute paradise. I wonder what the demand for veterinarians is there. Maybe they need me!
Hey Ollie, I touched down in NZ roughly around 2.5yrs ago…I’ve spent most of my life living on the Gold Coast in Australia, a beautiful place to grow up and appreciate the ocean, it’s coastlines and perfect waves all year round. Surfing was my passion…but where we now live is void of the surfing thrills I used to seek in the water…I stumbled across your vids…and since watching…….I have a whole new appreciation of the ocean and have found new passions - fishing and spearfishing. Thanks so much for the awesome content..you really put your heart into it. My wife and I really look forward to the adventures each week! Keep up the great work!!!!
I have used those cappuccino packs quite a lot too, the way i get them not to clump is putting a bit of water in the cup first (max ~ 1/4 full), stir the bejeezus out of it, and then top it up. Usually breaks the clumps for me because the initial mix is gooey and breaks when you stir it.
Awesome Ollie! I'm always so impressed that you film everything yourself and take the time to set up shots. You did a beautiful pan whilst swimming out of the kelp beds. The spearing, camping and cooking is wicked too!
The best content going around Ollie!! It’s great to forget about the world for a bit and just submerse myself into your videos. The overnights are awesome 👍🏻
Hi Legend, As a diver , have you ever tried having some fresh ginger , half way your day. Warms your stomach , warms yourself and prevents you from stomach pains if staying in the water for long periods of time. Dunno….works for me , picked it up from guys in the South Pacific. Worth a try hey!!!! Keep up the adventures. Chris from Crete
I’ve had a Cobb for about twenty years ,when they used to have a plastic base ,in my opion I wouldn’t use it for frying food on a boat , gas more convient safer ,they are better for doing roasts etc ,even doing damper bread etc
Absolutely awesome content on every video. I look forward to watching your footage every time you release something new!! They just keep getting better and better. Keep up the awesome work Ollie 💯
Yes very quiet.. Strange. I think that Cyclone which came through made the difference. There's a few spots of mine i've been to and the whole kelp beds have just vanished since the cyclone/ripped out
You should try Kewpie mayo n kewpie mayo n Wasabi mix they are cheaper then "best foods and way yummier imo. I find it in the foreign section of the supermarket. Plus it comes in a funky weird squishy bottle 😂
My man i love your vid a lot! planning to move to nz for fish and hunting. would love to meet you and go diving together! Please keep doing what you love and dont forget to share
Nice one bro, had to laugh when you choked on your coffee, done the exact same thing with those ones as well....if you don't stir the shit floating on the top amongst the froth you get a short sharp shock. Other than that they're pretty good when packing light.
hey man absolutely rate your videos! any chance of a quick video or snipit for what you look for on EOSDIS to get a gauge on what the water visibility is going to be like? been trying to figure it out for ages lol, anything helps! keep up the awesome mahi bro!
Play around with the standard satellite view (providing no cloud cover obv.) and play around with the chloryphill layer. It can take a little trial and error for your area and its never always spot on but does help I find
Hey Ollie, I noticed that youve stopped using your RA timberline.. I was looking at getting the 110. Do you have any negatives I should know about the timberline?
Hey there, I mix and match but for my all-rounder I still prefer the lightness and slim profile of my 100 carbon. Having said that I was actually originally aiming to get the Timberline 110/120 which is a beautiful gun. the longer timberlines actually have much less timber and are very sleek beautiful guns. If i could i would change mine to a 110/120 in hindsight
Do a freediving course first, to understand how shallow water blackouts happen. At least in the beginning, don't dive alone, or when you start pushing it (increasing depth) don't dive alone. At least when you blackout, someone can save you.
No. I'm not diving deep and try not to live in fear. I have never trained in pool etc to blackout so my body doesn't know what that is. less risk in my opinion
Actual Bird life!! I've been around many 'Pest Free' Islands but have never heard one as Alive as here. Was Awesome and obviously much louder than can capture on a gopro..!

Demand is really high! Get over here haha
Every single country could do with an additional vet. Go for it pal!
Lived in NZ 20 years ago the most beautiful place you’ll ever see. Can’t wait to go back some day.
You don't need to eat meat to enjoy the outdoors. There are some glorious, untouched places here. Very different geologically from Texas!
We need vets as much as fish need water honestly you could easily get a job working in a town close to the sea and woods

Coffee sachets - Avalanche ones taste way nicer and are locally made in West Auckland

What more do you want?
You got everything you need right there.
Oh yah! That looks SO good! I can taste it. What a charming day on the water. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome Ollie! I'm always so impressed that you film everything yourself and take the time to set up shots. You did a beautiful pan whilst swimming out of the kelp beds. The spearing, camping and cooking is wicked too!
Cheers Paul! Plenty more to come if and when this weather ever settles!!

Love the new boat and set up, really adds to more talking points in the vids.

Interesting! I don't tend to get stomach pains but I will keep that in mind for the future ifI do!

Ollie - try and put a small amount of boiling water into cappucino mix - stir heaps and makes a smooth thick mix then add remaing water.
Always very entertaining to watch!!
A bit of white wine in rice at the end would've made thst dish 🍷
pretty quiet on the fish front for this time of year. That's been my experience too this autumn.
Yes very quiet.. Strange. I think that Cyclone which came through made the difference. There's a few spots of mine i've been to and the whole kelp beds have just vanished since the cyclone/ripped out

not sure what drone your using but if you lower your light sensitivity the sky wont be as over exposed, some awesome shots there!
New drone just purchased, it was the mavic mini first edition, pretty basic little drone so next videos will be better!
Lesgoooo a new vid 🥳
Yeaah lets go🎉🎉

Thanks for the insight mate!
As always Ollie you are amazing with amazing videos…by any chance are you selling your inflatable?
No way I’m also working on superyachts man !!
Hey, mate cheers. Yeah I am aware that it is toxic, but I'm not breathing it in everyday so it's worth the beautiful moment fireside once in a while!
Mean bro
Yassss❤
The hazelnut 1 is mean bro
Super keen to get involved, I am just very concerned on shallow water blackouts.
What’s your thoughts on it?

Hi🌞
anyone else notice the fishing rod and reel in the kelp at 5:28?
It’s better with sugar bro🤙💯
where about? is this in Australia ?
New Zealand!
What GoPro do you use brutha?
Currently the hero 11 bro. Anything 9 black and above is good though!
hi
🎉🎉
Don’t you scared from black out?cause you diving alone ?and thank you for this
No. I'm not diving deep and try not to live in fear. I have never trained in pool etc to blackout so my body doesn't know what that is. less risk in my opinion
Bro for your eyes sake put some on the end of that Spear.... might prevent a nasty accident
Is that bird noise a sound add or actual bird noise? Unreal
Actual Bird life!! I've been around many 'Pest Free' Islands but have never heard one as Alive as here. Was Awesome and obviously much louder than can capture on a gopro..!
would've appreciated you ripping that snagged line out mate. or are you just talk?
ua-cam.com/video/8ZHnlf0tUuY/v-deo.html is the first snapper that you shot laying right there on the seafloor where you shoot this one?
Thats my ground bait mate 👍
