Hello My Lovelies,
For today's sewing project, I'm making a 1930's slip or petticoat to wear under my vintage inspired wardrobe. It's the first project on my Project Lingerie list and I'm in desperate need for new slips. I've never done monogramming before and I loved it ~ I'll be embroidering my initial on everything I own!

Absolutely gorgeous
I’m so glad you finally made the slip! It’s been lovely watching you work ❤
Ah thank you ~ that's such a lovely thing to say!
Beautiful as always. Love your green silk “ cigar jacket” / kimono.
Thank you ~ it keeps me warm in these colder months!
Oooh my love 💕
This has to be my favorite video ever!!! Such beautiful and fun "unmentionables"!! Bravo❤️❤️❤️
I'm so pleased you enjoyed ~ I loved working on this one!
I just adore your videos ❤ Thank you! From a kindred spirit all the way on the other side of the planet, in Melbourne Australia.
That's just the loveliest thing to hear ~ thank you so much for such a lovely message!
Lovely! 😍 You did a marvelous job on the monogram. I'm going to try that method. The slip is so right for your vintage style dresses.
It's so much fun ~ enjoy! And thank you!
Slightly more mentionable of the unmentionables, but still un-see-able.
I'm so glad you showed the monograming. Embroidery is definitely not my strong suit.
This slip video came up just in time. I found a lovely eyelet yesterday that I would like to use as a ruffle hem on a slip.
The newspaper pieces were very interesting.
I'm really glad you enjoyed and I hope you have a lovely time making your slip!
Such a pretty colour ❤. Gosh when you mentioned about not having the slip showing under your skirt I remembered when I was in high school and teachers would check to make sure your slip was the proper length haha (caribbean schools). I have made a 1920s slip bit I’d love to make another. The monogramming is so pretty! Would you make a half slip as well? Not sure if that’s more 40s tho
Thank you for sharing ~ I think a half slip is a great idea!
👌💕
so adorable
Thank you!
Lovely item ❤ I have that book and have often looked wistfully at the slip pattern but not been brave enough to try it
They're really straightforward if you take your time! If we ever have time!
Very pretty slip, I would get some bra sliders & add them on the straps next time.
That's a good idea ~ thank you!
