Yep, that's what I thought until I gave it a few listens and it kinda grows on you. Real Bands can & should be able to cope with changes like this ... Prime example of a great band I reckon. Reminds me of some of the stunts that Robert Plant from Zeppelin used to do
Get out of my way , love that harmonica.
How funny ,!
55 years later still listening to chain 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Absolutely LOVE this live version, offbeat and rugged!
Brilliant! Love Chain, love the blues.
The drummer is Kevin Murphy, played with the Aztecs..
.
best nights ever where at the cottesloe hotel watching Matt taylor and Chain
Classic Blues bring it back the world need it real music
Great band and great song
Watching these fellas play you get the feeling they are playing more for themselves than anyone else, just lost in their own sound
❤❤❤
Thank you for the phone memories
If I remember this song was number one in the charts at the same time "Imagine" was out
"Imagine" got to number 1, "Judgement" as high as 13, in Sydney anyway. That was better than "Black and Blue" which didn't chart at all in Sydney.
⁸I was just a kid......
Awesome band ive seen them live on my bucket list is to meet phil manning.
Matt Taylor, Lindsay Wells, Charlie Tumahai & Kevin Murphy, this would probably be late '71.
Charlie Tumahai -- he played in BeBop Deluxe later on then, correct?
@@chriscampbell9191 Correct!
Hell yeah
Lindsay Wells on guitar, Charlie Tamahui on bass. They were also in Healing Force. I don't like the vocals ... lags behind the backing.
That's his unique style.
the same lineup I saw in Canberra back in early 70s on same show as BT & Aztecs. who is the drummer? it isn't Barry harvey....
looks like Phil Manning on guitar to me ...
@@aussiebrewer Nope. it's Lindsay Wells.
