Thanks for the sights and sounds of this newest 777. I worked initial design on the first 777’s, back in the mid 90’s, and this latest version is just as impressive.
I've taken more of an interest in this stuff, and your background looks impressive. I hope Boeing and the travel industry come out of this ok, and maybe the 777x will play a part.
This plane is kind of unbelievably good. Extremely fuel efficient, even with its absolutely MASSIVE, VERY powerful engines, and it's VERY quiet too! It's also surprisingly lightweight, and it's simply beautiful! It's a technological marvel and I suspect nobody is going to build a plan to truly match the 777x for a very long time; it will reign king just as the 747 did for so many years.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this plane coming into Spokane. I was driving to Spokane falls cc and it flew over Tj meenach bridge and I couldn’t stop looking up. Had my heart racing. Thank you for the footage.
Awesome aircraft. I actually did some consulting work for Boeing on the original 777 production line several years back. I live in Spokane, and I'm just getting started plane-watching at GEG. What good spots do you recommend?
I really love to see this POV action on the Airport, cause me is just at Downtown hoping they would make another Landing. But gladly was able to take a shot on Final Approach and the go around from Riverfront.
Nowadays I have to look twice whether I'm watching reality or another FS2020 clip.😅 Absolutely stunning footage mate and hopefully deliveries to the airlines will start sooner than laner. Liked!
I hope Boeing can come back from despair and this can help lead them there. I'd love to see what one of these looks like loaded heavy flying out of Denver, and just how much runway it'd require.
I flew on the Boeing 777 (not the 777x) and the Airbus A380 going to Bangkok last fall. The A380 is bigger, but maybe too big in this day and age, and will be retired not long from now. Both planes are equally impressive to me, but the 777 is a little newer, and with it's even newer versions it's supposed to have a seating capacity approaching that of the current A380. I'm surprised but glad to see the 777x here in Spokane. I love the spool up of those engines, too!
I hope those wide body planes have outside cams and info/tainment viewable on seat-back screens. You really can't see much from a window seat, anyway. I became fascinated with that and videode it, and related amenities, up to 2:58 and past 3:30 on this phone cam video (using what I had) of my trip last year. I learned a lot and feel happy to share, if that's ok. Happy trails, mate! @@pnraviation520 ua-cam.com/video/LvvZ9NZwDbI/v-deo.html
That's what it was! It was circling my place. I thought it was a Qantus(not sure if right Australia) and waiting to get landed. Shook the house. Worse than the C10s. I guess I'll never see that up close in real life.
May I ask other than the iPhone, what is your camera kit? Thanks. Great video. I live right down the road where they are made in Everett. I was at PAE when it made its first flight!
SOUTHWEST 7138 I’m not sure if they will do commercial airport testing. I believe they only do that will models. So probably when the aircraft enters commercial aircraft
BajaMedic, we have the support for the aircraft, and our airport as always been a welcoming test site, we gave ramp space for them to park, have operations for them, etc. I think mainly due to MWH Boeing property being filled with MAXs so they can’t park the test bed there. And reasons why they don’t stay the night in BFI, I believe we’re just closer to MWH, and a easier route to navigate than to avoid all the SEA traffic. That’s my thinking behind it, but it’s not confirmed why.
It'd be fun to see a 747-8 with 4 of the GE9xs. Won't ever happen but maybe a modder can add it to MSFS 2020. I'd pay for the mod. Going to miss the 747.
Mel Cas Go to FlightAware Type BFI, PAE, or any airport you want into the search bar, and look at the scheduled arrivals and departures list Or you can type in the registration of the aircraft, in this case N779XW You can also use flightradar24, but the layout is a little different, but you can see aircrafts move on the ground
@@pnraviation520 was this a TEST flight or something? I know people who work at Boeing and no one is talking about this in any big way. I thought there was something special other than just the next plane.
Rob Twohy, yeah, each of these flights are test flights in the certification process for the aircraft type. The aircraft will go into service Late 2021 or early 2022
Do they all have "9" on the tail, or is it unique to this one? I took a picture of one of these leaving Spokane this morning. I was actually in downtown Spokane, taking pictures of trains, when I caught this.
Marc Weeks, so the -9 is a marking of the specific aircraft. So like the 777 is the family, you have the 777x as the series within the family, then you have the -# as the specific aircraft type. So for example the 777-2 is apart of the 777 family, with the body style being the -2, which consists of the -200LR, -200ER and -200F. So with the 777x, you have the 777-8 and 777-9, for that specific series. Within the test beds of the 777-9, there are three aircrafts that have the same style of tail, being N779XW, N779XX, N779XY, with N779XZ being the only one without this specific painted tail, as that tail is simply white. So every aircraft that will be delivered to what the customers order, will be Boeing 777-9, which most of the time is placed around the nose of the aircraft, to the airlines liking
Incredible wingspan, gargantuan engines, commanding tail section. Honestly, the 777 is an outstanding, classic beauty!

I work at the Airport in Spokane. Really cool to see
I worked at Boeing Field for 10 yrs. Got to see all of them all the time!
Neither China nor Russia can build a beauty like this.
I hope Boeing doesn't screw up this time as they did with the MAX.
Karma81 hate to agree but facts.
@Karma81 Airbus is in big financial trouble right now .
@Karma81 Tell me about it . I call it Malignant Capitalism. My country is dying and about to explode I fear our future.
Karma81 a similar thing like the b737max will happen to Airbus

Man this beauty is still loud even with the new quieter engines
The engines are massive cant wait for rollce royce mega engines to be ready too
A thing of Beauty! thanx for sharing!
Saw this fly over Missoula a few days ago. Cannot remember for sure when it was but I commented to my buddy "thats a big ass plane".
Ja5onl6 was probably N779XX, as they were flying back and forth for testing. 7hrs of flying lol
"Poor Horizon had to wait"....but I bet the was one heck of a view! I love being on the runway and seeing other planes coming in/taking off.
This Roller Coaster Life, yeah, got the best view
Just down the road from long horn bbq. An the post office. Nice video.
The intake diameter is almost as wide as the fuselage, so badass
Absolutely Gorgeous Big Airplane.

777X is not 737 Max
God damn, those engines are big af
I love the spool up of those GE9X engines
😂😂😂is it just me or why does the Boeing 777X always look shorter than the A340-600?
The Skyline bigger wings, wider fuselage makes a difference
@Daniel Staniszewski mine too
Because A340 is a sausage with wings

What a sexy plane! Those wings!
It could be the next legend of the sky after 747.

I'm actually kinda surprised GEG can support something that large.
We can support up to a 747
Wow!🙂Awesome
I've landed a 74 at KGEG 😂 with plenty of runway left.

Hope thr 777-9 is going to be delivered to Lufthansa soon.
I notice that the rear edges of the nacelles are not cut like those on the 787 and i thought that that was supposed to be a noise reduction feature...
I think GE re-designed it, as it is still extremely quiet compared to other aircrafts, especially that B703
