I keep coming back because she's so intriguing and she isn't annoying. I don't want to talk down about anybody but a lot of instructors on youtube get my nerves worked up so by the time I'm done watching one video I have to move along (even if I like them). ~ericka
Realistically this is how I would most days leave the house so this has randomly become like one of my favorite make up videos lol and it was just a quicky 🤷🏻♀️
As a brown girl, this made me chuckle! Haha in 7th grade a girl complimented my eye shadow and I didn’t even wear makeup back then... my lids are just brown 🥴
THIS is the style I love, that suits me. It's fresh but elevated? Just a bit of little extra oomph but not a long, drawn-out process (which is still nice- but this is something I could easily do every day).
I just love how chilled and relaxed and straight to the point these tutorials are! No gimmicky gimmicks or anything, just straight to the point and relaxing to watch! ❤️
I just wanna say that as a teenager, I'm thankful for these type of tutorials and your channel overall Also, I'm learning English and sometimes I forget the names of makeup stuff in my native language 😆
I started watching loads of English and American movies/Tv shows as a kid, recently graduated from ELT department 😂 UA-cam and movies taught me English 😂 I also don't know the names of some makeup products in my native language and the weirdest thing is,I've never worn makeup in my entire life but I love watching Alex put makeup on her face 😂 If I decide to wear makeup I will be well prepared 😂
I donno why but I seem to take longer doing no-makeup makeup without foundation 😂 I feel like I have to be more careful trying to blend concealer and stuff to make it still look cohesive and not like I have a dirty ass face
@@AlexandraAnele and my skin tone is a tad uneven so my concealer shade works great to cover one blemish, and then the same shade looks like a pastey smudge on another part of my face 🤣 the struggle. Oh and then when it oxidizes a bit and I'm out and look in the mirror and I have a friggen beige blob where I didnt blend it enough despite my efforts 😂😂
omg I love how you elevate the colour of your dark circles, I'm actually going to steal that - I've been trying to own my dark circles and this looks faabbbbb
This looks so fantastic! I’ve been loving a natural look a lot lately and this is the perfect video for it. A little bit of enhancing, a tiny bit of covering. Love it!!
literally thank you sm for this video!! ive been looking for a daily makeup look w/o foundation... ive never rly worn skin makeup but ive been getting more into makeup and i find that just doing my eyes is so not cohesive. this rly helps!!!
Thank you so much for this! I have freckles so I've always hated how foundation looks on me. So this is basically what I do when I wear makeup and it's nice to see a UA-camr do it too! (And better, obviously)
Idk why I have a strong desire to see your entire makeup layout/collection/work station on camera! Absolutely does not mean you should or have to of course, but just bouncing some ideas around here.
Truly has become my favorite type of makeup to do on myself. Going from someone who would only leave my house if I had full full coverage on..it's crazy how our makeup taste changes as we age. Plus I've always struggled with acne and felt I had to cover it. It's been beautiful people like you who've shown me that everyone has skin with flaws and it's okay not to have to plaster it with coverage. Embrace my own skin. That and now I'm in my 30s I just don't give a ff. 😉
i would love a video of you trying to do a drag look, where you can just go crazy with creativity, unless u have already done a video of it then pls shut me up hahahah
Omg, I love full coverage looks, but I prefer this look on a day to day basis. Love how perfect it looks while natural skin peeking through 😊 thank you for this tutorial, and actually all of your tutorial! 🙏❤️
I would love to see a highlight placement video. Most people do highlight how you did it today but I personally prefer it right next to my nose on my cheeks and patted out (almost like where people used to do the triangle of concealer). Both ways are great but it's cool to see the difference!
Love that you embrace your imperfections and dark circles. I enjoy your videos because you seem so genuine, not fake like many other beauty UA-camrs I've watched for tutorials! Thank you for being you 💚 -Serena from Canada

U look so amazing, deffo don’t need foundation or any full coverage Rocking the dark under eye-eye look, has become my go to aswell esp for these zoom meetings etc, natural n gorgeous
Stunning, imho. And also exactly how I used to do my makeup and either get told 'you should wear makeup' or 'your wearing too much makeup'. I guess it's just what you see in the world, your interpretation. Love you girl. Hope everyone is well 😷
Watched ur 1st video with this new product and thought it looked like everything was too shiny. The application in this video is much nicer. I never thought u needed full face foundation. And u just proved it. Ur skin is always very, very pretty.
I love this Alex, I've said it many times less is more, its beautiful, elegant, soft ,yet exquisite. Simple can rock. You need not always showcase your immense talent as a makeup artist, we all know the talent you possess. You can sometimes be like a bird in flight, that stops flapping, yes it feels gravity taking over, the air giving way beneath.......and yet it sings.... for it knows it has wings.
i've watched a couple of your videos and concluded that you are so sweet and you have refined beauty i like your make-up style because nothing is intrusive, and yet it looks so good on you💛🧡
This may be my favorite makeup tutorial I've ever seen. Not even to say it's necessarily exactly what I would do! But I NEEEEEEEDDDDD to be reminded that makeup can take ten minutes. . I am queen of either curl my lashes and throw on a RED lip, like a French vixen of ye old times....... Or a proper hour and a half face. (And that's if I'm in a rush.)
This is really helpful as I can't get anywhere near my sensitive eyes with make-up. I also have very dry skin so I'm not keen on foundation. Although I have bought a tinted foundation to try.
I'm glad you did this. I never wear foundation anymore. It's just not necessary. It's expensive, time consuming, uncomfortable and it never looks nice on me. I wish there were more tutorials without it.
I feel like I’ve been gravitating towards eyeliners now that only my eyes are showing at work lol but this washed out shadow is giving me all sorts of vibes! 😍 Ditched the foundation a while ago so this is perfect!! ✨
Beautiful! I'm wondering if you could post a series talking about color theory for makeup purposes! I would really love to see that explained in Alex's own no bs way! :)
Maaaaan, you are so stunning 😰 been absolutely looooving all your content since I started following you. Truly the realest, most engaging content ever.
Finally someone who doesn’t just slather concealer all over their face and call it “no foundation” 🙌🏽
😂🙏🏼❤️
A quickie w Alex?? 😳🤸♀️
You nasssty
Lol alex...u too funny
and im your 69th like 😳😌
i would love to

I love no foundation makeup especially for work and with a mask
Right??? It's just a waste now 😑
The way she says “ya know” is the reason I keep coming back.
Love all her mannerisms and facial expressions 😂

Also, I'm learning English and sometimes I forget the names of makeup stuff in my native language 😆
That's actually an easy way to learn english. Back in the day, when YT was new, I used to watch a lot of MTV to learn english.

oh 100%. The blend struggle is real.
Ok but your skin is GLOWING, skin problems? never heard of her

I came here to say - WOW. I start watching and think okay, she's got a little something on already... Then the reveal. I'm floored!
Sorry but the title should have been: "Just a quickie, using my fingers" 😂
Same thing I was just thinking 😂😂😂💕
She’s so gorgeous tho❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This camera QUALITY I even put my glasses to appreciate
omg I love how you elevate the colour of your dark circles, I'm actually going to steal that - I've been trying to own my dark circles and this looks faabbbbb
@Lila Jouer I meant going for an eye-shadow that (sort of) matches my circles :)
The Auric illuminator gives the most natural looking glow, I wanna soak in it 😭
Your attitude towards your dark circles is so different from your old videos! I'm so glad you're embracing them more now
This looks so great for an everyday, clean and beautiful look.
I love your techniques. I also like how you switch around with glam, fantasy, natural, and everything in between.
I am so happy that you are embracing your dark circles it looks so cool and edgy!!❤️❤️
That eyeshadow is BEAUTIFUL with your green eyes!

As a makeup-minimalist, definitely a fav video so far. (Not to say I don’t appreciate the absolute art that Alex creates)

“I just look very exhaus...”
I mean, “Exotic”
