I dreamed and tbh am still dreaming of a gun like this...I am in gelsoft now so this would be a regression to me since I want metal and replicas of the real thing and nerf just cant do that really... plus aussie so those prices are nuuuts 750 for both of em shotgun and pistol... makes me happy that this got made though, even if it was too late dream came true didnt it
@@Enderbro3300 yeah but the mag would have to be fairly chonk (not that it isn't already) as you'd be adding half the diameter of the shell to the width. I don't think you can reasonably put that in a through the grip load comfortably.
First of all, the feeding ramp is polished to a mirror sheen. It's not going to have any feeding problems. The slide's been replaced with a reinforced version. And it meshes perfectly with the frame. The frame itself has been iron-welded and scraped down multiple times for maximum precision. The front strap part of the frame has been checkered to make it dig into the hand. That prevents any slipping. The sight system's original, too. It's a 3-dot type. It's got an enlarged front sight, giving it superior target sighting capability. The regular hammer's been replaced with a ring hammer. That enhances the cocking control and increases the hammer-down speed. They also reworked the grip safety to accommodate the ring hammer. Looks like they eliminated it altogether. This is a tool for pros. The thumb safety and the slide stop are extended to allow for more precise handling. The base of the trigger guard is whittled down, so you can use a high grip. And the trigger itself is a long type for easy finger access. The trigger pull is about 3.5 pounds. That's about a pound and a half lighter than normal. The magazine well has been widened to make it easier to put in a new magazine. The magazine catch button has been cut down low to make it harder to hit by accident. The mainspring housing has been changed to a flat type to increase grip. And it's even been fitted with stepping so that it doesn't slip from the recoil when firing. On top of that, they added cocking serrations to the front part of the slide. That lets you load and eject cartridges faster in an emergency. Whoever did this is a professional. No question - this thing could shoot a one-hole at 25 yards in a machine rest.
Its like all the mag fed nerf pistols i have wanted all started to exist at the same time. I mean there has been no mag fed nerf pistols and then all of a sudden so many
Shells are the only thing that make sense for the reliability of nerf for the future. It gets rid of pre loaded magazine darts squishing together and jamming also it's easier to breach load and keep ammo loose in a pocket. Not to mention shells are just.. "æeeeughhghghgj."
I do very much like this blaster creation! Never mind that loading shells adds even more prep time before events compared to loading regular half-dart mags, or that I’ll never be able to afford it.
eh, it might be easier than loading regular half dart mags. 7 shells, put in 7 half darts, and the shells don't fly out of the magazine because the springs are good.
Seriously thinking about grabbing one if these. However, to GDop and Valour, the shells REALLY ought to be printed in brightest, glowiest orange you can get. Otherwise they are will be just begging to get lost if they land in grass.
Shells is actually a brilliant idea, they protect the foam darts from jamming because of how soft they are. Plus it allows more reliable and efficient loading and firing systems used in real firearms. so when will we get a nerf minigun complete with spewing shells and disintegrating belt.
normally I don't like short dart blasters, because I much prefer the compatibility with official blasters (idk why exactly but yeah) but this thing,,, wholy crap that is awesome. this is one of the best looking 3D-printed blaster I've seen so far
I have a Flypoint from batch 2 from Gdop and I love it! I need more shells but the blaster is wonderful. I am an adult and have big string instrument playing hands but the trigger pull is smooth once you fiddle with it

I think its a great blaster overall. I'm skeptical of the longevity of that mechanical system. Luckily being that its 3d printed you could just make replacement parts within an hour or two. I think its a great example of where this hobby is going and what can be done. Nice video

This is *everything* I have *ever* wanted in Nerf in one, single package, pretty much. If I can get my hands on one and unbutton it to look into its guts, I might even be able to understand how it works and then *improve* upon it! Ugh, this excites me so much more than it really should.
Man, this just makes me wish the designer had something similarly designed as a sub machine gun. I've always been a sucker for a submachine gun designs, bigger than an pistol, but smaller than a rifle. This was a cool blaster to catch though. Thanks for sharing.
I've always wanted a nerf gun that has a magazine and ejects casings ever since I was a kid. I never believed that it could exist until I saw this video. I can peacefully rest now.
@@SAUCE2001 Yeah I can definitely do that. The simplest option I can see is to just not install the electronics, but leave everything else be. A quick eyeball puts that at $25 cheaper. I'll have to be careful not to get those models mixed up in the shop.

It actually started as an HPA blaster that he got the idea of doing because I was asking him about doing something with the Stampede and shell ejecting.

I was really hoping this was an electronic springer. It's already sealed breech, it's already got springs in it for the action, it's like over halfway there. That would also resolve the noise problem.

I wish there were variants on this kind of blaster that did both normal mags and shell mags because once you run out of shells you can’t do much with it. It would be cool to start with shells, then move to regular later on
Unfortunately there's tons of blasters like this that don't use shells and the purpose of the blaster is, in fact, to use the shells. It's not for everybody, but there's also very little like it.
