- I started restoration of an old almost destroyed Yamaha bike and here is the second part i restored. It was a nice project to film out and to share it with you guys. I restored a Bike Silencer in this video and turned this silencer into a very fine mirror polished product. Apparently, the video creator seems to lack the mental capacity to grasp such complex relationships. Just like the thumbs up. Chrome plating does not seem to be part of the program. This is not a restoration, this is just crap. Restoration means bringing vehicles back to the condition they were in when they left the factory.

You polished this silencer very nicely, but seems you also removed most of chrome from it. It may start to corrode very soon, hopefully not. Regards!
is there any protection in case you remove all chrome? I watched somewhere that guy sprayed some kind of lack

You didn't show how you restored the baffles
Now needs chroming or will rust overnight - it's not really a restoration, it's just a clean and polish!

If the chrome is a little rusty, try crumpling up aluminium foil, shiny side out, dip it in coke and rub the rust away then polish it with chrome polish, look for other videos on rust removal

I request you to not coat it first with mud.. Please take proper item that needs to be restored and restore that. I hate how each 9fbyour restoration video has it coated with mud.
