    The less you need, the richer you are. Detach from the prison of consumerism and realize that you have always been free, you just needed to turn the key.

    I earned financial freedom at 35. Was living on the streets drug addict 13 years ago. Started in real estate bought some cheap raw land and camped out for some years on it while building bought a couple more by saving money and started building homes on them with cash and hard work slowly. Now own four homes three are rentals and one I live in off grid on five acres beautiful 3k sq ft house. And my rentals are in the greater Seattle area.

    31. Live with parents. Work with father mowing lawns a few days a week. In winter work gets slow and I wouldn't mind finding something online if I could, but AI is impacting so many jobs now. As long as I can run my car and have plenty of free time to go hiking, running, exploring I am happy. I spend very little money.. really only car expenses and ingredients as I love to cook. I absolutely resent the idea of a 9 to 5. Just want a peaceful life and to keep learning and growing.

    You definitely don't want to wait until you have money to understand how money works. If you have bad money habits and you end up with a lot of money, those same bad habits will apply and you'll be broke again. Great point to learn how it works so that when you get it, your dollars already know where to go to work for you.

    Once you realize its the ego/mind wanting all the material stuff, you’ll stop putting money in other peoples pockets and keeping it for yourself, I’m talking about all the unnecessary stuff of course. I agree that when you’re broke is when you will get a crash course in money management and pay yourself first. I know you don’t talk spirituality, but many of us “wakeup” this way. I think for a lot of us the COVID farce taught us that we can survive with less. I lived on $5 a day for the entire time. Men understand suffering. Men understand survival. Men understand sacrifice. Men understand simplicity. Men understand freedom. Keep on keeping on, Brother. Enjoy your thoughts and content! MGTOW.

      I think life happens in seasons. Up until now I wasn’t in the phase of life where learning about finances was a top priority. But now that I am enter my mid 40’s I think it’s the season to start getting my financial affairs in order.

    I just started watching your videos and learning about the seasonal work lifestyle and have to say it sounds pretty appealing. But I have to ask what's the norm with living arrangements? More often then not are you living with other people like roomies or by yourself with employee housing? Or do you find your own place to stay temporarily? Just asking cause I hate living with other people lol

    • @TimothyWard
      @TimothyWard  Місяць тому

      I’d say at 85% or so of seasonal properties you will be sharing a room with a roommate. But there are a few that offer single occupancy housing. And there are a few that offer no housing and you have to find your own place to stay nearby.
