I used to pick up scrap paper way back in the back, by the retention ponds. Do not get out of your truck if it's dark, there are BIG alligators in those ponds.
Strapping my hot shot load in Florida ( I'm from California) I didn't realize it but I had pulled out of the way 10' feet from the swampy water and didn't even realize what I had done till a guy working there came over and told he had see a big aligator in that water a few weeks ago..
Fun fact for ya- That Sprint you spent the night at the McDonald’s used to be a Mean Genes Burgers. As in Gene Okerlund the announcer from WWF back in the day.
God bless you and your family brother. Yes, not sure if and when trucking will come back. As I have said before, our 38 truck fleet has never struggled more, but you are right. God is good and family means everything. Pray you and your wife have a blessed trip.
Love hanging out with you brother!! My very first load was at the Kimberly Clark where you were. I started with Schneider in 1992. I team drove with a good friend. God has blessed you brother!! In all things give thanks!! ❤️🙌🙏
I wish they had this technology when my kids were young but they didn’t and I’m happy that you’re making and saving the memories you guys have been making!!!
I’m guessing that you and TW had a EPIC time on the anniversary vacation!!??? Great to see you back in action and I hope you can find some loads that make sense for your efforts!!! Say hello to the family and I’m looking forward to hearing about how TANK is making out in school I’m guessing fine since he went in like a trooper on the first day!!! See you in the next one!!!
Happy anniversary to you and T-Dubs! As a 58 y/o I can confirm that taking care of your feet now will definitely pay dividends as you grow older. Smart Lady! Glad your sons are doing well in school, aside from the open market being bad, you seem to have good blessings in most other areas - enjoy the family while you can. Stay well and keep on truckin, brother :)
Wanna learn how to stick weld, I bring in around 3500-5000 every week, building anything that pays, in it for the most part Concrete mixer drums, the wear out after 2nd year after buying, if core is still good, I can build it on site anywhere 11 sheets of steel, 2 welders, 2 50ld box of welding rods, a bunch of "Wilton" 406 clamps, porta-power, buffing and grinding disc. 3day and I can bill "Anyone" low price $15,000, high end as high as $40,000 per drum
Untill those in power,no matter what political party,no matter if conservative, liberal, moderate or even socialist, start putting the american people first, instead of endless wars, their ambition, and or geopolitical goals, things will never get truly better. Just an constant up and down cycle with the down cycles getting longer and longer. Yes things are good for a few people including in trucking,it always is but for most, the industry is suffering, one of the worst if not the worst. So dont mind the complainers Justin. You are right on. Another super episode.
Hope the Mexico trip was awesome, Happy Anniversary to you and T dubs………couldn’t pay me to own one of those Supras, made by BMW………Toyotas have been coming into Jax port since the 70’s that I know of…..
I was just in that weight station couple weeks ago. I forgot about setting my tandems not used to drive to Florida that DOT guy was really cool let me go without a fine
Cool to see the Lexus and Toyota Talleyrand JAXPORT operation in action. Southeast Toyota Distributors (SET) is the world’s largest independent distributor of Toyotas. The company was established in 1968 when Jim Moran partnered with Toyota Motor Sales to help expand the automaker’s presence in the U.S. market. Today, the company distributes vehicles, parts and accessories to 177 independent Toyota dealerships in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Vehicles manufactured in North America and Japan are processed at the company’s facilities in Jacksonville, Florida, and Commerce, Georgia.
Worst, I've ever seen it, too. I stopped listening to all the experts telling us freight will be better next month. Lol. Stay happy and take care of that family.
You could have put another $50 on top of that 85 and got yourself a TWICcard that’s good for five years. It’s pretty standard in the trucking industry to have one. It’s a good credential.
I doubt it.. I have 4 felonies Manufacturing and delivery of marijuana, felony firearms, felon in possession of afirearm, and drug paraphernalia. And I still got mine. Just sayin
Yea they would hate me. I still refuse to drop my trailer. See all those trailers nothing holding the nose. Seen way to many trailers give way becasue fork lifts slam in and break the landing gear. I'll take a load back before I drop it. Walmart gives me hell all the time lol
You can not make a living off the load boards or spot market. You must have dedicated customers!! With you luck but don't bad mouth the spot market..it is mostly used for guys looking for a bachaul. Good luck!!
For tight areas, I find the trailer tandems all the way back is easier for me, to dock, Stop the over-turning trailer, The beginning of video shows tandems up on the blue container and the over steering. Just my preference, might not work with everyone.
Looks a bit overkill on the boat with five engines. Could cross the Atlantic in record time🤣🤣🤣. Breakfast in Georgia in the morning and Cornwall UK for a lovely Cornish cream tea in the afternoon🤣
2 years ago we had High inflation. The higher interest rates Sadly slow down the economy. Which means Low Trucking Rates. Now the Feds are close 2 start cutting the Rates. A year from now. We'll have some good rates again. Ive been around the Trucking Industry since the 80's.
Justin, there's nothing like a man with pretty soft feet 😂😂😂😂😂. Ya should've had them paint one toenail pink or red on each foot 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. A Pop of color never hurts 😁. Take care and God bless 🙏✨ y'all. Happy 10th Anniversary 💝🌹🎉 and a safe trip ❤.
@JustTrucking The best route to take to Augusta GA from Savannah GA is Hwy 21N to it dead ends into Hwy 25 Turn right on 25 and from there it's a straight shot to Augusta, GA. Hey there! Love your videos! Just wondering how hard it is to get going on ur own? I work in the oilfield and would like to consider a change hauling cattle, my main question is how hard is it to get your own authority plus insurance thanks man in advance and keep up the hard work!!
It’s not hard at all. It’s just the price of insurance is ridiculous these days I would check that first you can get a rough quote before you start. God Bless you.

I suggest you get your TWIC card. It’s always best to have it and not use it than to need it and not have it.
You have been blessed with your family
It’s simple to get a TWIC card. Around Louisiana everyone has one since you are almost always picking up or delivering to a port.
Good feeling being noticed
It's easier to just back into the door then slide the tandems after you're in the hole.
I have all lumber out of that plant numerous times. A little gas station with the deli makes incredible catfish
Wondered if the Canadian Geese got ya.... Welcome back.

Get a TWIC card. Also, specialize in a niche and you won’t need to try to survive on the Loadboard scraps.
Justin get a Twic card it is no worse than a passport to get as long as you are a us citizen and have no criminal record
Even easier
hed rather complain about the escort fee every time instead of getting one for less than 2 escort fees and 5 years of not complaining about it
