In our friendship group/work office (same person) there are two of us with ADHD. Both of us a vastly different and also incredibly similar at the same time. The overwhelming opinion around us is that "everyone is a bit ADHD". We accept anyone who has a neurodivergence (diagnosed or not) but the overwhelming belittling and downplaying the constant struggles just to keep going is heartbreaking.
The Count gag was funny. I'm still chuckling.
Ahhh you've made my day, you answered my question AND GAVE ME TWO DINGS. Is that a third ding?
BIG love, The Pet Butler/Christmas 'Alex is a knob' participant/random who picked Sam up in a hug at a little talk x
Good morning all from Marvellous Melbourne
Most 🙄 moment for me this year: A therapist’s question during an ‘Adaptations to make therapy more accessible’ webinar: “… if we give extra reminders, aren’t we just enabling them, instead of helping them learn to function more effectively?” 🙄🤯🤬
Love what you said about AuDHD James. I’ve just pretty much had my ASD diagnosis confirmed, so also AuDHD. Different to Sam’s (of course), but just fucking complicated for my mind to understand my mind . Would love to hear from you guys about any research out there (at all?) about the AuDHD Neurotypes? It’s only been around as a joint diagnosis since 2013.
I'd love to know about research into AuDHD too
@@TomBeardshaw we’ll get on it ❤️
Don’t want to inflate Alex’s head any more (aka🧑✈️🎈💀) but his hello was so funny it nearly caused me property damage
I was cleaning my teeth and it took every fiber of my being not to spray toothpaste over my entire bathroom when he said that buying a planner was his tip for adhd awareness month
I’m so sorry, James. I worry complimenting Alex will only embolden him, and I’ve thereby actively harmed you with this comment *oblique* engagement
@@lukecackett4566 I can allow it this time 😂🧛🏻♂️❤️
