What makes this song ascend to another stratosphere is the fact this was a live take. Hence the “cough” line at the end. It just sounded the best so they used it. This is what musical talent and cohesion sounds like.
That is why we called this "Album Rock" you have to listen to the whole album all at one time !! Back in the 1970's and 80's there were "Album Rock" stations all over these great United States that played "the whole Album at one time by multiple Rock Bands in a row" !! no DJ interruptions, no commercials, between songs. That business was taken care of before the music started. For Real !!
Love Led Zeppelin, love the popular ones, but this song is my utmost favorite. All hail the rock gods, and may their tunes bless you and bring you joy!
Masterpiece track on a masterpiece album! The groove, the playing, the vocals and the arrangement!! - perfection. Bonzo is a beast!! Enjoyed the reaction. Thank you ☮
Thx Mellissa for entertaining Rick and us with greatness. Anyone who hasn't seen "The song remains the same" movie/doc for some behind the scenes stuff needs to seek it out. Fun fact - people didn't want to hire/play with John Bonham because "he played too loud" lol. GOATS - destiny played a hand in forming Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Robert was a suggestion by the singer Jimmy was pursuing to join the band - Robert knew John....
That was a masterpiece 👏👏👏👏. Woke up last night with this song dancing in my brain. Looked up the lyrics and it was Led Zeppelin, the song was Black Dog. Please play it.
Scratchin the surface here. Check out "Nobody's Fault but Mine".. "How Many More Times".. "10 Years Gone".. "Rain Song".. "Wonton Song".. for starters!! Cheers.. No Cap..
Kudos to Kelly! Or is it Melissa? Anywho, this song will get The Lord's attention. When Led Zeppelin first hit the airwaves, I was so mad at John Bonham and Robert Plant. Plant sang in too high a register (for me at the time) and Bonham always seemed to be a half beat behind where he should be. I hated it! Now, I think they are the best ever.
There is no better than Led Zeppelin. Hope to hear more. Can you imagine growing up to this Greatness. God is Good.
11 minutes of quality time with Led Zeppelin is always a good thing...thank you, brother

There’s life before Led Zeppelin and there’s living afterwards.

Hope you continue to explore the phenomenon that is Led Zeppelin

If I don't risk the chance of blowing my speakers to this song, I'm not listening to it properly.
There's a fucking REASON Zeppelin broke up after Bonzo died....you can hear it here. His drumming drives the whole damn song forward,.
Don't think you were ready. All fine. You lived through it. 😊
You hearing it for the 1st time lets me relive the 1st time I heard it and had my mind blown.
More please 😊
Live in 1975 at Earls Court AMAZING
Love this entire album,"Inthe Light" is a trip. It has some creative style.

Watch them perform this live in 1975 at Earl’s Court. Inspired
This is their best song. Period.
Led Zeppelin always gets the Ole head bobbing.
Back watching again! One of my top 5 LZ songs! I requested 2 LZ songs together since they’re short. A week ago now..looking forward to your reaction ❤
You can’t go wrong with any Led Zeppelin song, even if it’s not one of your favorites, a favorite one is hard to pick.
I have different favorites depending on my mood, but always the #1 band.
@@melissagottlieb3381 true, since they do so many genres, & do each to perfection, harder hitting & nice mellow funk etc.
It’s true, even my least favorite Zepp songs, which is only about three or four are better than anything than any other group has done
This live in 1975 is magnificent!!
This is magic, great channel my friend, from Scotland
Mr. John Bonham, makes this song pop!!!!
It's actually a 1928 Gospel song !
If this song doesn’t touch you in some way you’re dead

They have a schizophrenic sound, either you love them or you don’t ❤
Yup.....they do gospel too 😅😅😅
😅❤😂🎉😮
What's this guy doing? Starts listening to the song and then starts talking about someone called Kelly?
If you had listened, it was self explanatory 😅
