    Love it amigo! Don't worry about being terrible on the rotary, at least you're willing to try and learn and that's more than half the battle.

      Hey Muchacho Grande what's going on? Thanks for the encouragement; it's always good hearing from positive people! I appreciate you! Take Care

    I really want to give the 2-step Chem-X Stars and Stripes system a try but it's so darned expensive compared to Wash Chems' which is only a single step system but much cheaper than Chem-X. I want to give the entire Chem-X line a try as I have heard good things about their products and how well they work.

    The paint is looking very clean! Keep working that rotary polisher. I've never used one, but I do enjoy your honesty and thoughts on it. Can't wait to see more👍

      D/D Good Morning! I'm horrible on the Rotary but honestly it kills swirls so much faster than the da. I finished down on the pass fender on a Rotary. The gloss is there I just need to use the fine foam and a da to clean it up because it has Buffer trails due to my lack of skill on it. Overall I feel the Rotary is faster and more effective especially o. The HEAVY lifting aka CUT... I'll keep after it. This paint has a TON of surface contaminants though.the more I get I to it the more I see... it's been fun though. Thanks for the support . I tryely appreciate that!! Have a great week. Take Care!👍👊

    Man Doug I really like that car. If that's a 30 year old paint job it stoll looks good. I am excited to follow all the videos for this one.

      Timbo what up my Brutha?! I'm happy you want to follow the stuff on this coupe. Shes a good looking car. Yes sir, my dad painted this car in 1992. Shes still lookin good. Btw, my camera shut off again. I had a tad more content to go but the camera had other ideas. 🤯😂. I think it overheated. I was gonna ask if anyone wanted to put a Candy apple red paint job on her for me??🤔 The paint has a few bad spots where rust is lifting the paint. We shall see how long it lasts.. Thanks Tim. Have a great week and Happy Fathers day bud! Take Care👍

    Sweet ride bud . I'd love to jump in my truck with my mobile bags and spend a weekend on that with you . Well , maybe not . 30 hrs and 5 plus per gallon and 13 miles per gallon. Lol . With that said what kind of Frankenstein foam cannon is that ? Pretty kool .

      Hey Pedro, good morning. Yeah man it was in the mid 80's. I had to try it. I was very Nervous. I had slight spotting on my aluminum wheels so I wouldn't advise this on a lot of exposed bare aluminum on a hot day in direct Sun. Take care man and thanks for watching💯.

      @@detailit 80s? That’s nice weather brother we get 104 here even in the morning is 90s , guess what? Do you remember the soap man? The lady who answers me on the phone couldn’t help at all , She promised me to call me back not sure if she has a product in stock still waiting

      @@Pedroluvslupe yeah I hear ya on the heat. I was just mentioning that because even at 85° in direct sun you gotta move swiftly. You dont want ANY soap to dry on the paint. Especially not one of these at ph2 & ph14 (I think they are). I wont be using this system much any more until probably November or on a super early morning where I'm at. Once we hit 100° we stay there till late Sept. Or Oct. 100°-112° on many days around here. As far as Soap Man, im sorry about that. The MAIN guy is at the Bakersfield Number in the description section of that video.. im also awaiting a returned call... Take Care man!

    • @detailit
      @detailit  2 роки тому

      Hey Richard. The car was repainted from original color but it's been this way for many years. My dad shot it in his garage. It came out nice but he didnt do any of the cleanup work on it like a cut/buff. I'm just trying to do a little cleanup and get it back into shape! Thanks for watching man. Take Care!

      👋Garrett, it's a great company ! I especially like that it's not your Run of the mill stuff... Bob has created quite a nice store with options for general cleaning all the way to a detailers store. So far I'm very pleased. Not to say that there arent MANY great options out there! Thanks for checking my content out. I appreciate that!! Take Care!

      @@GarrettHamilton I get that! May cabinets are packed ... no push for you but they are having a 15% off right now. Click my link and see if you can cash in on some great deals. I totally respect not wanting to buy when u have stuff already but sales save $ in the long run. If/when you try their stuff let me know what u think. Also, if yer in a hot climate, I wouldn't recommend Stars & Stripes unless yer in the shade. When I did this coupe everything worked out ok, but I think if it were any hotter I may have had an issue. Great system and works like NO OTHER in the correct conditions!! Anywho, thanks for interacting, take care!!
