      This is just a demo. If I did this for a living, first off I wouldn't have used a 2x2 machine. It would have been at least a 3x3 which would effectively cut the time in half. So roughly 12 minutes. Also worth stating, a car this dirty wouldn't have been a great hand wash option. This was several months of neglect. Touchless is perfect for vehicles like this. Check out the Chem-X channel on UA-cam. Bob can wash a car in 6 minutes..... flow and psi play a HUGE part in this.

My point, they will all be similar and work well. Sword is a Great interior option (Detail Co) I really like the finished look. Thanks for sharing

    Does the package state how this process worke? Ive worked in a chlorine factory that also made sodium hypochlorite. The offgassing has nothing to do with concentration but rather the decomposition of sodium hypochloride. Which also doesnt repease any colours, I assume they added that in.

    • @detailit

      The off gassing from the dissolving tablet releases the gas which kills the bacteria I would think!

      @@detailit you'd be right. Or else it wouldn't work :). I've seen other people say it's pure chlorine gas (can cause bad oxidation in electrical equipment if over exposed in my experience) others say it generates ozone and another claimed it was generating chlorine dioxide (explosive as shit). That's why I was wondering if it had a specific active ingredient :)

    That looks like a great interior cleaner! I am definitely going to buy a bottle of that stuff to try out. WOW. Looks very similar to Koch Chemie POL STAR which I currently use and really like. Hopefully they sell (or will sell in the future) this product in the gallon size. I would buy that stuff buy the gallon. Those scrub ninja's are a very valuable detailing tool that work so well. I love those things. I have a couple different sizes and types of the scrub ninja products and I use them all. You don't know how dirty your interior really is until you use a scrub ninja on the surfaces inside. And the scrub ninja's are perfectly safe on every surface, unlike the magic erasers which can cause some serious damage inside if you aren't careful. The magic erasers can induce unwanted scuffing and major scratches too, I know, I have done it a long time ago on one of my previous vehicles. The Armour Detail Supply company has been hitting a home run with all their products!

    Yeah, similar experience here. I had a gallon jug that came out of the box leaking and looking like the letter F. This also happened with a shipment from DIY Detail (they use the same 3PL warehouse), that was a replacement order for a package that UPS didn't even deliver due to damage. My first box from there was missing half my order too (warehouse just forgot I guess). Compared to the hundreds of packages that I've gotten from The Rag Company and Obsessed Garage with ZERO damage, these guys have some work to do. Stronger boxes, 100% fill, stronger tape. Yeah UPS sucks, but the other guys have figured out how to UPS-proof their packaging. To THOR's credit (and DIY Detail) they have amazing customer service and have taken care of things right away without question...but hard to deal with that inconvenience if you need that product by a certain time (especially if you're running a business).

    Whoa whoa what do we have here!?!? So any waterless wash and apc will do? I usually use maniac line waterless wash on door jambs and if they are too dirty I use apc so this sounds right up my alley

      This combo is awesome! I know F-Bomb is actually soap based... however, I've thought about mixing others together and trying them this way... I Love it! Give it a shot and let me know how it goes! It's AWESOME

    I love the process and would be interested in trying it with one of my clients but this process would be difficult to do in the sun though right?

    • @detailit
      @detailit 6 днів тому

      Hello, yes, it would. If it's hot and sunny, you'd have to rinse to cool the paint, then do this process. I've washed in low 90's without issue in direct sun....

    Chem-X is coming out with all kinds of products lately related to vehicle detailing.

      Hi! Yeah man, Bob has been crushing it lately! I've been watching his test videos and he takes it quite serious. He buys about 5 or 6 of the most popular items from the brands, uses and compares them. He then takes feedback from his customer base and tries to make something that meets or exceeds our expectations! Chem-X does a great job developing new products! As I like to say...."Bob's a BEAST". Thanks again for checking this one out. Have a great day!

    I don't know what people think happens when you drive through a torrential downpour...the entirety of the engine compartment gets saturated. The only difference here is pressure and only an idiot would direct pressure into electrical connections and engine seals enough to cause a problem.

      I've heard this debate FOREVER. I usually use a garden hose and agitate the grime by hand... this was very effective and quick.... I haven't experienced anything negative .... thanks for watching
