In response to the Commander sight question in the video-->
It is a flexible metal cover that is able to be bent down to cover the incredibly expensive optic during transit, maneuvers where combat is not likely, and (what I've heard) heavy sand and dust storms. OTO has worked with Israeli firms on optic development, and a desert-type optic does exist on the AMV model that currently carries its war kit/ pso protection combo. Unfortunately, that combo vehicle does not yet exist in-game. In bocca al lupo, ragazzi!

To be honest the Ariete getting a 5s reload can barelly be considered a buff at this point, every other manually loaded top tier MBT other than the Leopard got it, this was more a nerf to the Leopard than anything else and also to the Challenger by proxy (poor guy lost it's only redeeming quality)
As a longtime challenger player, the reload is not its only quality. The ERA kit is the best part of it.
@@warthunderclipper The chally used to be the only manually loaded MBT with a 5 second reload. It has now lost that.
How is the ERA kit the best part, at this point pretty much all nations have a PSO kitted tank with ERA add on kits on the sides.
@@NotOlzen the ERA has saved me countless times from side APFSDS, and o never said it was the only tank with ERA
@@warthunderclipper It has 50mm of kenetic protection, it will stop some autocannons maybe, but its no relikt.
I mean, he talked about the chally loosings its unique redeeming quality that was the 5 sec manual reload compared to the others 6+ seconds and higher. So mentioning ERA in that context makes me assume we are still discussing unique features of the challys. They are also not the only tanks with APS at top tier anymore.
Like he said, giving the challys few redeeming qualities to other tanks.

@@JustinPlaysTV he probably refer to Squad's infantry gunplay overhaul update last year when you mentioned you used to play Squad before it turned into crap to you in the video.
The update is a bit controversial since it kinda "split" the playerbase.

What’s your opinion on why squad has turned for the worst? Just like to hear the opinions. I love squad but haven’t played in a while
ICO is the biggest point of contention it aimed to slow down infantry combat by making you have to move slower to keep your gun stable but it definitely was overturned when first introduced

@@User54tr t80´s are propably the easiest mbt´s to one pop in top tier. (excluding italy). i dont know why people complaining about them. they eat a shot here and there but most of the time one hit blows their turret off
Still much better reaction time than Russia/Chinese top tier MBTs. Turret Traverse and Gun Elevation speeds + 5s reload are all the matters on top tier.
Armour is important as well and the Ariete has non of that. If I need to think a second when shooting leopards or t80s it could make the difference between life and death tbh. Even the shitty armour on the type 10 has saved my ass a bunch of times. Gun handling and reload speed is important too but it's not everything imo.
@@benni1015 Not really. I forgot to mention spall liners which make armor irrelevant. Every shot into a spall liner is complete roulette.
And somehow I play better with the arietes than I do with the 2a7
All German and Italian leos should be lower br. The only highest BR should be T80, S1, and Sweden leos.

The gunsight on Arietes is all wrong, I think. It should be the same as on T-72AV. Which is VTG-120, part of TURMS. It's all Italian.

Gaijins map team has to stop making these awful map changes like blocking flanks and hills you can be on (like on Japan or El Alamein) and making map layouts that are tiny.
The tiny maps at top tier has to stop. Stuff like Port Novo and the small version of Hürtgen Forest and Ardennes still exist, while stuff like Stalingrad gets moved to be 7.7 max br.

The Israeli tree is absolutely shit,and the merkavas don’t make up for it,their only redeeming quality is the air tree which is mainly USA 2.0
Its not that its not good... most stick to Meta Nations (USA,GER,USSR) and think they are the BEST tanks.. Any tank is good if you know how to play them.. i don't play ANY meta nations. (Japan,UK,China,Italy,Swed,israel) and i have more fun as the tanks own the metas if you know how to. don't follow "This tank Suck" it only Sucks because they try to play it like the Meta tanks...

It’s crazy that people say Italy and the Ariete suffers. Bro like yall keep getting stuff added to the trees, have the best tank in the game, have one of the best win rates but just can’t cope. America suffers just as much as if not more. 34-40% win rate vs 70% 😂😂😂 y’all joking right?! You cant even enjoy playing America never mind the bad players and the insta one shot dead in the water Abrams. Get shot you’re pretty much dead. No gunner, commander, engine, turret drive, breach, list goes on. 😂
Winrate being higher despite its stats is not the win you're hoping for
