That should be how every company should treat their employees, like humans & not social security numbered robots. I hear Google & Facebook offices are awesome like that.
she was saving 40$ or 50$ a day? I'm not even hating, I'm glad she can afford to do that. meanwhile I feel like I'm splurging when I spend 20$ on food a week. (I'm a college student)
Well again she's working full time while you are a college student (and I'm assuming even if you have a job it only pays minimum wage as well as having to put money aside for college) so you are both definitely at different stages of life with different circumstances. But I totally get it because I'm a college student too.
PhanTrash #346 So? Poor people can have nice things. You don't know their situation. Having a laptop or phone is almost a necessity if you're a college student or in certain lines of work. Poor doesn't always mean having absolutely nothing and starving smh
It can depend on how much they are allowed to have or if they are allowed to take it home, because it can be hard to eat only one meal a day. I work as a cook and we are allowed one free meal per shift but that's not enough to keep you from being hungry for the rest of the day.
"Lunch is provided on these two days" You have a free snack bar. Lunch is always provided. You only have to pay for 1 meal a day if you think about it.
To budget, I use my debit card for bills ONLY! Includes groceries/gas. I give myself a cash allowance for the week that I can use on eating out, drinks, shopping etc. Whatever money I don't spend, I put in a jar. Then I take out more cash for the next week. This way I can visualize my money!
Reese J also there are psychological studies that show that actually physically parting with cash makes you feel like you're actually losing something... therefore people spend less!
Denisse Kattalakis I typically do not shop online, because I live near a very busy suburb where most of my necessities are within a 15 minute drive!! If I must buy something online, then I will use my debit card, but it doesn't happen often.
Most people don't even realize it. You forget your lunch a few days in a row and start eating out or you get caught up in fast fashion, It's nearly unconscious for a lot of people
I think the most surprising thing wasnt their spending habits before but that Freddie got her vacation after only a month of saving. As a kid my family get a vacation once every 3 years or so
Out of 15 years of living, my family has only been one one “vacation” basically my huge family all got in one little car and drove 4 hours to a crowded beach.
ShaesWays I'm going to visit my cousin with my family (I'm 11) and it takes 9 hours to get there I'll be staying for 2 nights and 1 1/2 days it would be great even though my cousin is 5 I would totally not get bored
My biggest pet peeve is people who say "I have no money" and its because they go clothes shopping twice a week and have no sense of the worth of their money
ALM Tutorials your dad is the opposite of my dad lol "do you want nike shoes?" Me:n..no *looks at something that is highly priced* "do you want that?" me:(in my mind) what the frick frack you would actually buy me this? Uhhhh..ok?
do you ever just want someone nice to walk up to you, and give you a hug, and tell you that everything is going to be okay? *and then hand you 5 million dollars*
$100,000 is nothing? We live off my husband's single income and he's in the army, they don't pay half that. We don't eat rice and beans and we bought a new car (brand new first owners) in July 2015. Sounds like some just don't realize how much they're actually making.
100K a year comes out to about $48 an hour. Keep in mind that minimum wage is about $7 an hour (varies depending on state but that average). 100K is a very comfortable living and places a person squarely in the American middle class. You could raise a family on that income. If you consider that a pittance then you are far wealthier than your believe yourself to be and could probably benefit from some budgeting advice.
raq uel, then how do u have money for internet too? My internet is hella expensive...when my mom was getting our internet she told me prices of cheaper ones and they are still hella expensive, so if u wanna go on a trip maybe cut back on internet? Just a thought tho.
It obviously isn't, if you haven't seen all those "why I left Buzzfeed" They aren't allowed to take credit for their work, which is important to creative people.
Ryah&& Mya yeah, I guess you're right 😁 it's just that it actually upset me her little "poor me I only have 15 per day" when I can't remember the last time I got a twenty in my pocket. Sorry I went to deep, I will just leave now ✌
andslove88 Yup, broke student mom of two here. Fortunately my husband works so we manage, but I can't wait to start work in January and start making some money! :D
Jasmine Garcia, I hope your job isn't writing because you need some autocorrect. You can't even spell and not even mentioning the grammar, also the punctuation.
haha yep! my income just about covers rent and bills. For food, socialising and saving I have approximately £40 a week. I can't imagine being able to save the equivalent of $40 a day like Freddie said. I still consider myself well off though cause I can afford to cover the necessities and go out once a month.
I'm disabled. I get $1300 a month. $967 of that goes to rent. $100 goes to health insurance. That leaves me with $233 a month. I don't drive. I have to pay for medication, doctor appointments, groceries... I do the minimum and I still end up at the end of the month with no money in my account. When you're genuinely poor... that's not so easy. It's literally impossible for me to get money into a savings account.
she saved 40$ a day? did i hear that right? god damn. how much money do you guys make lol? if you saved 40$ every day for a month, 40x28=1120$. that in my country would equal around 4 months of pay at minimum wage. that's crazy
Maybe I didn't say it right. What I wanted to say was a month's salary as a whole, idk. Thing is in my country the avarage salary would be somewhere between 281$-328. That's how much you'd make a month. So 1120$ would be 4 salaries of 281$ (4 months) and around 3 salaries of 328$ (3 months). Hope that cleared it up a little bit. But yea. Point is that a lot of god Damn money!!
While I totally understand the concerns from other commenters that this is super first-world-problems-like, I don't think that people who have money should be shamed when they spend it. The two women were upfront with what they recognize as "bad spending habits," so this video is their effort to change it for a week. So Chantelle has the money to spend on eating out and you don't? So? The title of this video is "We Gave Up Our Bad Spending Habits," not "Tips on How To Save When You're Broke AF."
Too be honest, I was feeling a bit iffy about the while Boldly/ Ladylike thing, but I can now truthfully say that I am excited for these changes. To bad Saf isn't a part of this, but she is also flourishing through her own personal channel!
I started watching this expecting to be annoyed at ridiculous spending habits, but honestly, after seeing that Chantelle had purchased a condo and has previously had good habits, and really has just slipped into a bit of laziness, I wasn't nearly as annoyed. It as a good wake up call for both of them.
I'd love to know this too. I used to live in the same neighborhood as the BuzzFeed offices and a 1/1 condo there is at least $500,000 PLUS the monthly HOA fees. That's a lot!!!
Among all the luxury handbags and beauty hauls on youtube, this is very refreshing. I grew up with very little money and really no budget for non-necessities, so despite having money now and treating myself to quality purchases, I still hardly spend money on everyday things. My family barely eats out but we are not stingy on home cooked food and groceries. It's a lifestyle that should not be limited to people who can't afford to spend money. It's a very asian mindset to save money on the small stuff, in order to invest in the large stuff in life.
And that is with getting free lunch and snacks every day at work. Probably free coffee at work too and still going to starbucks every day I do not even understand.
Well done Freddy and Chantel I may only be ten but even I can see that the worlds difference was made doing this.I especially congratulate Freddy on the vacation well done!!!
I like both kinds, I mean their videos have always been both kinds. Half silly stuff and half real adult lady stuff, I mean that's what being a boss ass lady is all about
Maura Chambers I liked them both! The makeup is a fun, weird thing they've been doing since day one, and this spending thing is more professional. I think it's a great balance. Keep the fantasy makeup and budgeting going😌
I feel like if you work at buzzfeed you shouldn’t be spending unnecessarily. Like they always have snacks and provide 2 lunches a week. That’s more than more places - therefore should be saving in those areas already
right? I take the expired food from work home and have been saving about 200-300 dollars/ month since i started working there. not sure how that happened because i still spend some money on food, but the monthly credit card bills dont lie
This was a really relatable video. Talking about finances can make you feel strangely vulnerable, so appreciate the girls for going through with it ^_^
At 3.16 I was so proud of Chantel cause she was making pasta and for the first time I saw an american person actually letting the water boil properly before putting the pasta in it. ITALY IS PROUD OF YOU CHANTEL, well done!!
I'll never understand people who buy just regular moring cup o' coffee at starbucks or a coffeeshop... HOW CAN YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE AND FACE PPL WITHOUT DRINKING COFFEE *FIRST*??
I really liked this video! Very inspiring! It is common for people who went thru times where they struggle to make ends meet, then they get a well paying job and suddenly it is easy to let spending get out of hand. Also, props to buzzfeed for providing snacks in the breakroom. My office just does coffee and oatmeal packets, anything is a nice gesture.
My new year resolution was to get out of debt. I was living paycheck to paycheck and couldn't understand what I was doing with my money. After taking a serious look it was eating out and Wal-Mart pit stops before work. $20 here and there adds up. Proud to say I've only purchased lunch 3 times since Jan 1st! Better than my twice a day habit before...
This is incredible!!! I cook all the time. I maybe go out to dinner twice a month. I just meet up with friends after dinner. I might meet someone for a coffee. I mostly hang it with friends at their or my place. And have drinks we happen to have at home. I can't even imagine going out to dinner all the time.
You can save so much money by trift shopping instead of buying new clothes. One shirt that would be $25 in a store would be like only $3 in a trift store or a flea market. I've saved a lot of money trifting instead of buying new stuff. It's a good idea if you have a shopping addiction!
I'm glad she invested in a condo bc she can sell that in the future but i also hope they have a robust emergency fund and 401k, buzzfeed doesn't last forever
Cooking for an hour when you get home and are tired can make you even more tired. Meal prepping has helped me a lot because sometimes after I get home from the gym I don't have enough time to cook before bed so being able to heat something up is great!
I can definitely understand budget bootcamp. I had to really crack down on my spending habits, and my biggest habit was coffee two to three times a DAY from Big Foot Java ( I don't care for Starbucks ). Yes, they are cheaper then Starbucks, however, even just six dollars a day (24oz drink), three times a day, means that's one week's worth of gas! Once I started on my new car payments, I completely understood that all the little extra spending habits had to be curbed, pronto. This video was a valuable lesson! Thank you ladies - new subscriber ~ :D
It helps to turn having to live on a budget into a game. Aim to spend a little less than you did the previous week and you'll feel great when you succeed. Just don't then reward yourself massively with a big spend. A little spend is ok if you must. :-)
whats more shocking then their high pay is how freaking bad they are with money. I mean, you treat yourself, but amazong shopping everyday? eating out like 5 nights a week? WTF? They didnt really need an expert to tell them those are amazingly stupid choices.
Imelda Wilm everybody is different. I am a crazy stationery hoarder. Even though I know I don't need it I buy it because sometimes you can't supress the urge.
8happyperson Especially in LA. The cost of living there is ridiculous. I went to LA once (with $500+ in cash) and I went through it in 2-3 days. Insane.
Donna Hernandez I agree! My boyfriend and I live together but we can't cook so we are eating out all the time (and enjoying it) but we are going to learn how to cook soon
To be fair, "grocery hauls" are already a thing not just in cali. Especially, when it is either special exotic items or when you have a specific daily spending cap like they did.
Sidonie Saxby minimum wage in America is 7.25 and if your lucky you might start off st 8.00 they probably get paid 15 or 16$ a hour or salary I'm not sure. But from the looks buzzfeed loves its employees
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU REACHED 1M!!!!!!!!!!!! IM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!!!! On buzzfeed i have probobly watched you somewhere where you first started lady like and you guys have improved so much! Ilysm!!! You are all an inspiration to wemen and girls everywhere! Kepp doin what ya doin! :D
REAL ADVICE FROM A REAL BROKE PERSON: if you feel bored or like you aren't buying new things to occupy you, go to the dollar store. I'm not talking about some bougie Dollar General or Family Dollar, I'm talking the 99¢ store. Sometimes I'll pick up knockoff biore strips, or a new nail polish, or a big sheet of poster board, or WHATEVER. it gives you something to keep you busy when you get home and you won't spend more than $5.
If my office had free food for employees, I would be able to save so much money T_T
chizicus
Same!! That would be my kitchen basically lol.
chizicus RIIGHT?!
chizicus ikr I wouldn't even pack my food!!! Well maybe if I'm craving mom food then I will make it and pack it
Same! i'd always be eating at work!
Woo 2000th like
I would DIE to work at a place that provides meals and snacks like buzzfeed. I would be so blessed.
That should be how every company should treat their employees, like humans & not social security numbered robots. I hear Google & Facebook offices are awesome like that.
If you died then you would never get to experience it more than once.
@@GooniesNeverSayDie1980 a huge number of people leave buzzfeed tho. I'm sure there is a reason for it.
I want to work at Google. They have awesome free cafeteria
Shudnjdnundj Jeju I would probably get sooooo chubby...
I'm so poor spending $15 per day is me being irresponsible and risky
Living Lurrz right?! I was like that's my grocery budget for like a week lol.
Amen to that!
lol I cook all our (my family's) food
Living Lurrz lmaoo
Living Lurrz soo true
I could literally live off the buzzfeed pantry.
The Halima I swearrr
i would be that greedy person taking all the snacks home
mr sir so mee
lol mr sir's profile pic "M" and yours "E" complete the word me which is ur comment XD
The Halima I need to work in buzzfeed XD
she was saving 40$ or 50$ a day? I'm not even hating, I'm glad she can afford to do that. meanwhile I feel like I'm splurging when I spend 20$ on food a week. (I'm a college student)
Rainbow Life Same. Minimum wage college student here
Rainbow Life yeah same
Stay in school, save your money, work hard to get a good job and you will be able to spend lots of $ per day in a couple years! :)
Same medical student in NY
Well again she's working full time while you are a college student (and I'm assuming even if you have a job it only pays minimum wage as well as having to put money aside for college) so you are both definitely at different stages of life with different circumstances. But I totally get it because I'm a college student too.
This video made me realize how poor I am.
Sarah Meadors Yet you have a device.
Same here
Yup you are poor😂👍🏻😊🤣
PhanTrash #346 So? Poor people can have nice things. You don't know their situation. Having a laptop or phone is almost a necessity if you're a college student or in certain lines of work. Poor doesn't always mean having absolutely nothing and starving smh
TamiQ AYEEE THATS MEEEE
WTF if I worked somewhere that provided that much free food, I would never spend money
Maggie it's all sugar though.
Paputsza and..?
Paputsza what?
It can depend on how much they are allowed to have or if they are allowed to take it home, because it can be hard to eat only one meal a day. I work as a cook and we are allowed one free meal per shift but that's not enough to keep you from being hungry for the rest of the day.
Sameeee exactly what I was thinking... sheesh I don't even have a jar of chocolate or ramen noodles.
"Lunch is provided on these two days"
You have a free snack bar.
Why don't you put your money in a savings account instead of a jar. That way since interest rates are going up you can get more money
Reese J I do the same thing!!
Nice idea. Do you have another card to buy online stuff? (Online places tend to give you more coupons and you pay less taxes than at an actual store)
Denisse Kattalakis I typically do not shop online, because I live near a very busy suburb where most of my necessities are within a 15 minute drive!! If I must buy something online, then I will use my debit card, but it doesn't happen often.
Jesus Christ how do people spend so much money in a day????
Elora Elizabeth L. D. H. I have no idea.. I mean they do live in California but still.
Most people don't even realize it. You forget your lunch a few days in a row and start eating out or you get caught up in fast fashion, It's nearly unconscious for a lot of people
Elora Elizabeth L. D. H. They probably make a lot of money
LA is how...
Elora Elizabeth L. D. H. Because we are rich and you are poor
I think the most surprising thing wasnt their spending habits before but that Freddie got her vacation after only a month of saving. As a kid my family get a vacation once every 3 years or so
ShaesWays But she's also one person and your family is well...a family.
ShaesWays well everyone's salary is different
ShaesWays i've never once been on a vacation 😂
Out of 15 years of living, my family has only been one one “vacation” basically my huge family all got in one little car and drove 4 hours to a crowded beach.
ShaesWays I'm going to visit my cousin with my family (I'm 11) and it takes 9 hours to get there I'll be staying for 2 nights and 1 1/2 days it would be great even though my cousin is 5 I would totally not get bored
My biggest pet peeve is people who say "I have no money" and its because they go clothes shopping twice a week and have no sense of the worth of their money
OMG!! YOU JUST EXPLAINED MY DAD!! He LITERALLY has 15 pairs of jordans and cant even buy me A 1$ KITKAT!!
xD
ALM Tutorials your dad is the opposite of my dad lol
"do you want nike shoes?"
Me:n..no

"do you want that?"
me:(in my mind) what the frick frack you would actually buy me this?
Uhhhh..ok?
Lol
So fucking true
I haven't went clothes shopping for like 5 months or something?
*$15 a day, spends the first $12 on an amazon prime movie*
Right tho I side-eyed that SO hard
$12.99 actually
That was Freddie's goal, not hers.
Nope that was the other girl’s goal
deepali midha Chantel has a name ya know
How do they spend so much on food and buzzfeed has such a good canteen?
No they mean at home like after work they get lazy so they get tired and thats what they mean
Maybe the foods stocked are always the same so they decide to go on fast foods now
6 00000 pop 0000p70000908ñ
to keep workers donig 12 hrs+ shift. why go home? when you have foods and place for a quick rest here.
15$ a Day? I cry when I have to spend more then 5 :/
Iamnotpau | I know right 😂😭 (than*)

kaelah E "treat yo self" is also from "how to cake it"
kaelah E memes yes preach
Wow; Chantelle spends on average of $1,650 on daily expenses per month. How much does Buzzfeed pay its employees?!
chill out I live in Cali too and 100k is not nothing...people are just obsessed with consumerism and looking "cool" in california
I'm assuming this is American money. In the UK people are lucky to earn £50,000
$100,000 is nothing? We live off my husband's single income and he's in the army, they don't pay half that. We don't eat rice and beans and we bought a new car (brand new first owners) in July 2015. Sounds like some just don't realize how much they're actually making.

$1400 on health insurance? Is that monthly? No wonder people have no insurance in the US. Thank god I don't live there.
Freddie only took one month to save for a vacation to St. Thomas 😫😫 it would take me a year to save for that
raq uel the struggle
raq uel it took me and some of my family two years to save up for Spain for 10 days
Bruh it takes my family a year just to go to the beach the next state over, for two days, any they're both underpaid in the medical field. Wtf.
i was just thinking the same thing 😱
raq uel, then how do u have money for internet too? My internet is hella expensive...when my mom was getting our internet she told me prices of cheaper ones and they are still hella expensive, so if u wanna go on a trip maybe cut back on internet? Just a thought tho.
Couldn't Freddie go out to the social event and then the next day Freddie only aloud to spend 5 dollars
thats what i thought then i realize that is what im trying to do. i always failed lol
why does buzzfeed seem like the perfect job??
Alagan Balakumar It pretty much is, its a well paying known media company.
Alagan Balakumar because it is a perfect job
It obviously isn't, if you haven't seen all those "why I left Buzzfeed" They aren't allowed to take credit for their work, which is important to creative people.
Try to watch the ‘Why I left Buzzfeed’ videos 😬😬
The new UA-cam trend is why I left BuzzFeed
OMG this is the most likes I've ever got

Challah at me, I'm a grad student. The first skill you develop as a grad student is how to find free food.
When your a broke college student and $15 dollars a day is still to much for you to spend 😭😭😭💔
Grecia Aleman I spend 40 a week on everything 😂
Grecia Aleman $1 a week is too much
Saaammmmeeeee!!!
Grecia Aleman 20 a week on food 10 on phone a month and like 7 on transport a week broke af student life
I can tell by your grammar that you're obviously not on college.
boy.....if my work has a huge shelf with for , then I would love at work!!!!!

Delia Enya In Mexico, that's 9 months of minimum wage! =(
Delia Enya minimum wage for me is $9.30 an hour.
My god :O
Well in my country this is less than a month on minimal wage. It's also around 9$ per hour. But I agree that she spends a lot of money.
Maybe I didn't say it right. What I wanted to say was a month's salary as a whole, idk. Thing is in my country the avarage salary would be somewhere between 281$-328. omg at 1:55 hydro flask in background SHE DID IT FIRST
I'm really liking these "adulting" videos.
Tian Yao :)
Chantel really looks just as pretty (if not prettier) without make up
chantel: i was probably saving around forty or fifty dollars
me: a week?
chantel: *a day*
me: im sorry what.
Literally when I read your "I'm sorry what" all I saw was that meme of the blonde guy blinking lmao
*me: a month?
And that is with getting free lunch and snacks every day at work. Probably free coffee at work too and still going to starbucks every day I do not even understand.
lestrange Right
Well in all fairness Southern California living can get quite pricey and some days she spent absolutely no money.
.....who spends $50 a day? Buzzfeed is paying them well.
Okay okay that's okay
Aissatou Kante not really bc you'd spent over 1500 just for food but you need to pay rent and gas, electricity, cell phone contract and so on
cheyenne henry I spend 5 a month lol
Did any1 else just come here because those noodles look good
Halle. C YESS!!!😂😂
Halle. C YESSSSSSSSSSSASSSSSSSSSSSASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
lmao thought i was the only one
Yes KWEEN!
(BTW I got 100th like 😋)
Halle. C meeeeeeeee
Well done Freddy and Chantel I may only be ten but even I can see that the worlds difference was made doing this.I especially congratulate Freddy on the vacation well done!!!
At 4:59, a wild Saf was spotted
omg 😃
Skye Y omg I didn't even notice!!
omg how could you even tell i'm impressed
HOW
Two words people: unhealthy obsession. (and the curiosity to know, it wasn't very hard to spot her when she was literally waving to the camera)
i would really love to see more of these types of videos instead of like 'oh we got a unicorn horn stuck on our head lol'
I like both kinds, I mean their videos have always been both kinds. Half silly stuff and half real adult lady stuff, I mean that's what being a boss ass lady is all about
Maura Chambers agree
Maura Chambers same!
the esoteric unicorn video was really shitty :/
hope their content improves now
Maura Chambers I liked them both!
That’s more than more places - therefore should be saving in those areas already
chels true where I used to work provided nothing at all
Granted it was easier since Buzzfeed has a pantry for the workers and it's filled with array of food, not just instant noodle.
Seriously if my workplace supplied lunches and had a fully stocked pantry of options, there would be no reason to spend money on eating out at lunch.
right? I take the expired food from work home and have been saving about 200-300 dollars/ month since i started working there. not sure how that happened because i still spend some money on food, but the monthly credit card bills dont lie
JudgeyJudgeyable wait what do you do with expired food...?
all I have in my cupboard is spider webs ...
I mean they did acknowledge that
This was a really relatable video. Talking about finances can make you feel strangely vulnerable, so appreciate the girls for going through with it ^_^
Chantel listen I love you guys but why are you guys always holding your boobs at every Video?
Save money for a rainy day....
3 years later........
Corona virus leav I ng everyone with no jobs and having to save money.
At 3.16 I was so proud of Chantel cause she was making pasta and for the first time I saw an american person actually letting the water boil properly before putting the pasta in it. ITALY IS PROUD OF YOU CHANTEL, well done!!
Ma perché, come cucinano la pasta di solito?
Luisa Colombo People don't let the water boil before making pasta? That's how your supposed to do it right? xD
Luisa Colombo do people not boil the water first? i thought this was common sense: 0
isn't this normal? lmao
lol how rich do you have to be when saving money is just a fun challenge instead of a necessity
They are probably in debt like many people in los angles.
i do like how chantel acknowledged that it was easy to do at buzzfeed with the food
They should've done this for a month and not a week. So they can see how much money they saved.
Devin omg! It's u
Chantel and Ashly! I need more of them. TOGETHER
anyone gonna say how much they love Freddies hair
I'll never understand people who buy just regular moring cup o' coffee at starbucks or a coffeeshop... HOW CAN YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE AND FACE PPL WITHOUT DRINKING COFFEE *FIRST*??
Haha, so true!
happy to see your project evolved into independent channel! will support ladylike and ladies behind it
"actually use the coffee machine that I have " 😂😂😂
A week is nothing. You'l just spend a lot the next week. I think this needs to be done for a month at least
it takes 3-4 weeks to form a habit and spending/treating yourself is a habit. So yeah. budget bootcamp would actually take about a month
didn't you watch the end of the vid?
Holy shit this made me feel way better about my spending habits, lol.
The word is thrift
why do you care?
Uncle as fuck thrift**
i know i'm late but please change it to "thrift"
@@swanee12 Never.
I hope they realize how lucky they are to be able to live the life they do.
agreed
Especially at such a young age. Being able to own a condo and have that much spending money in an expensive city is impressive.
12harrypotterfan34 well they worked hard
They had to work for the life they have
I'm glad she invested in a condo bc she can sell that in the future but i also hope they have a robust emergency fund and 401k, buzzfeed doesn't last forever
She saved about as much in one day as I spend on food in a month...
To be fair though, I do work at Chipotle and get about 4 free meals a week. Still ridiculous difference though.
Luke Baker Chipotle is like 10 dollars though so you get a big advantage even though I do agree with u
Freddie's hair is so beautiful! 😍😍❤️
Now learn how to live on $2 a day. I can do $15 a day with 4 kids.
My mom does that to with 4 kids😀
Leah Estey 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My mom spends 0$ a day and she has a five year old and me a. Year old. She doesn't spend monet on herself neither
Very commendable!
Your fault for having that many kids
I really miss Safiya but I'm so glad that Chantel and Freddie are still here
Cooking for an hour when you get home and are tired can make you even more tired. Meal prepping has helped me a lot because sometimes after I get home from the gym I don't have enough time to cook before bed so being able to heat something up is great!
Early! My bad habits are procrastinating. I'm procrastinating homework right now. Kekeke
Safiya Rehman ㅋㅋㅋㅋ lol
Why korean lol
I've Lost Faith In Humanity caus her profilpic is BTS army a South Korean boy band
I see you ARMY I see you.
Safiya Rehman *pulls window down and yells* ARMYYYYYYY *huehue*
I can definitely understand budget bootcamp. I had to really crack down on my spending habits, and my biggest habit was coffee two to three times a DAY from Big Foot Java ( I don't care for Starbucks ). Yes, they are cheaper then Starbucks, however, even just six dollars a day (24oz drink), three times a day, means that's one week's worth of gas! Once I started on my new car payments, I completely understood that all the little extra spending habits had to be curbed, pronto. This video was a valuable lesson! Thank you ladies - new subscriber ~ :D
MY part time Job at a Javanese supermarket provided us with free lunch, and take home meals, so i'm grateful.
*steals all buzzfeed's food*
7:35 Jen😍 I missed you😊
5:33 fred’s eyes are glistening and so black i love it
Sees lady like posted, drops biology homework
Panashe Gadaga
haha me too but my CV Testing lab report 😂
It helps to turn having to live on a budget into a game. Aim to spend a little less than you did the previous week and you'll feel great when you succeed. Just don't then reward yourself massively with a big spend. A little spend is ok if you must. :-)
Does anyone love freddie's hair
This should not be that hard, no online shopping no postmates and no Starbucks is normal at least for me
well its official i need to get a job at buzzfeed and make some freaking money
also look at all the food they give you
Alessandra Santamaría places that give a lot of free stuff sometimes expect you to work long hours.
whats more shocking then their high pay is how freaking bad they are with money.
Aww, chantel shared her sandwich! ❤️
OMG, Ashly & Chantel!
Its crazy to me to think how much people are willing to spend on eating out all the time
8happyperson Especially in LA. The cost of living there is ridiculous. I went to LA once (with $500+ in cash) and I went through it in 2-3 days. Insane.
8happyperson it's hard when you work and don't know how to cook it's quick to eat out
Donna Hernandez I agree! My boyfriend and I live together but we can't cook so we are eating out all the time (and enjoying it) but we are going to learn how to cook soon
I can totally relate to this. So glad I watched this! I can't imagine going through a day not spending money which is shameful but true.
"Grocery store haul." ????
Um, like... Grocery shopping???
lovemyslowee lmfao omg you're right
seriously are they so used to eating out that buying groceries is like a haul to them?
im legit laughing at those cali girls who are calling grocery shopping a haul
L.O.L
To be fair, "grocery hauls" are already a thing not just in cali. Especially, when it is either special exotic items or when you have a specific daily spending cap like they did.
Buzzfeed must have crazy pay. like wtf 40$ a day??
Leah Bana that means 1200 a month
that doesnt seem crazy, in NZ I work 3 hours and get $40. American pay must be shit.
Sidonie Saxby minimum wage in America is 7.25 and if your lucky you might start off st 8.00 they probably get paid 15 or 16$ a hour or salary I'm not sure. But from the looks buzzfeed loves its employees
Sidonie Saxby it is.
Minimum wage in NZ is $15.75, how the hell is someone meant to live off $7?????
Me and my family go to eat out every Friday so everytime we do, I get super excited and indecisive
Who is paying 13 dollars for a movie if it's not going to the movies
I thought the title said "spelling habits" and I didn't understand what money and ramen had to do with it😂
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sarah N. Yes! And yes yes yes to those fake dollar stores with their lies. I hate that. Family Dollar is more expensive than Wal-Mart half the time!
i wish i had that store here
Sarah N.
good idea. also, only take cash. $10 max!
I LOVE dollar stores. 5 below is my shit though
Or the thrift shop
Chantel is so pretty without makeup!
I love when Jen and chattel where walking down the street
chantel! u can literally watch movies online for free dont spend money on an amazon prime movie!
Victoria P Illegally.
Victoria P Honestly, it's very disrespectful towards the work put into it, no matter whether it's a movie, an album, a game. It's wrong.
i see what you're saying but i dont have $12 to dish out on a movie when i can use that to buy food. Sorry :/
Victoria P true
Victoria P it's illegal and disrespectful towards the art.
I don't need notifications since I'm always on UA-cam 😂
nobody 1515 Me 😂😂
nobody 1515 sameeee
Freddie’s hair when it’s in a ponytail is so cute✨😍
