Game is absolutely uninspiring and boring since they decided to reuse animations on newer heroes long ago.
There is too much "copy-pasted" in them, bloating the roster.
Imagine new player wanted to get through this bloated roster of copy-pasted shit? There is 120312312 similar heroes that he need to learn how to play against them. Jesus F christ.
They better just start to work on For Honor 2 and stop releasing this crap.

I’m so glad we got someone with asymmetrical heavy finishers, I always wondered why they never tried that again after playing shaman. Although I don’t see the point in using the undodgable heavy after hitting the bash, unless it chains on miss
Target swap wouldn’t be bad, depending on its range. If not then prob just to not external a ally
I haven't played for honor in about 2 years.. I actually want to come back just to play with her.
Side note: She seems like she could have some amazingly looking armor sets.

I guess my questions about the hero are the same as everyone else’s, but I will still highlight them here because why not:
Can the kick after flip be targetswapped?
Can the followups after said kick be targetswapped?
Can the followups after chain bash be targetswapped?
Can the deflect followups be targetswapped?
Can her forward dodge heavy be feinted?
What are her secondary and third feat choices for each slot?
Do superior block finisher lights allow her neutral bash to be uninterruptible with frame advantage?
Is flip kick interruptible in chain with buffered lights?
Can the flip itself be targetswapped to circle around different opponents in a teamfight? (Example: attack opponent A, target swap to opponent B, perform the flip to the side and see what happens)
Can Tier 1 and Tier 3 feats ledge?
That seems about it. Hopefully this isn’t too much, thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask about this stuff for your testing.
Can Tier 1 chain afer using Tier 3 feat?
Some answer are pretty obvious, but I think we all have these questions, which tells a lot about how terrible UBI still is at showcasing
Adding to this
-Can she chain on whiffed bashes?
-Can she flip recovery on whiffed bashes?
-Can she be lighted out of the knee after flip if she finishes her chain with a light before flip cancel?
-Can tier 1 or tier 3 be interrupted by teammates?
-Is the light guaranteed by all of her bashes finisher lights, including the neutral bash?
-What’s the recovery after flip if she doesn’t use the knee? Will it be a viable GB mix up or have frame advantage?
-Does the forwards flip have s like shinobis roll?
They need to give the older heroes more love after this. New mocapped and unique feats for everyone.
I sincerely would almost prefer they take a break from new heros to do this with lackluster heros because some of them have some great potential and are beauty's but not quite there yet. Id give anything for this treatment towards highlander because I dread when his time comes it's just going to be sped up moves that look clunky

Honestly this hero looks amazing animation wise, this is some of the best work they have done with a hero in a VERY long time. Seriously props to the devs for making this hero insanely unique, so excited to start playing her.
This hero looks awesome. I love seeing a mace finally in the game.
The armor looks amazing.
The acrobatics seem a bit crazy tbh. Like damn she moves quick with all that armor. The animations looks great. It just seems weird to be so hyper in combat.
Wear armor long enough it will feel weightless. But a yeah those acrobatics would wear you out but she’s not doing a bunch of crazy jumps
@@captin-crane3324 she is doing summer salts and straight up wrestling moves on fellow armored opponents.
Yeah I get that when you train in armor you get used to the weight (Ive seen the video of the guy in platemail doing that obstacle course.)
But those levels of acrobatics seem a bit much. But this game is a bit past borderline fantasy.
Still a cool character and can't wait to see them on the battle field

She has to have some serious Stamina to be able to do those kinda moves even still.
But with training and such almost anything is possible
When you test the hero, I wonder if the t1 can ledge, Id imagine (and hope) so. From the gameplay they showed it looks like the t3 CANT ledge, unless maybe he was just out of range (copium). Other then that hopefully you can include execution timings in that video too. Those are my only requests. Thank you in advance ! :)
This hero looks cool quite honestly, been wanting a hashashin style hero and also a mace mamluk or something of the sort for a while now. Already willing to bet people will hate this hero because it's PROBABLY well rounded on release rather than taking 2 reworks after being out for a year, and still probably being outdated by a new hero change/release by then.
When you can check it out, knowing if her T1 and T3 feats ledge would be nice
An opener bash and chain bash guaranteeing 42 damage on wallsplat is kind of insane. Also really weird to have 3 properties, one being dependent on direction. But they looks really cool, I'm excited.

@Whosey it's not healthy to have an incredibly situational move that does insanely high amounts of damage. That's the reason everyone hates Nobushis finisher heavy with way of the shark.
@@knightmare1267 Having a wall to your left you should recognise the possibility of them putting one out there, same as Nobu’s heavy finisher with bleed on you or Pirate’s Skewer with a wall behind you, or even Valk’s finisher side lights. You’re just gonna have to make the read, or have the situational awareness not to put yourself in that position in the first place.
Although sometimes it can’t be helped where you find yourself, you’re still just gonna have to make the read.
@Whosey every read you just mentioned involves a longer setup, pirate with a finisher, valk with a finisher, nuxia with a finisher. My problem is that Afeera can immediately get this move off from an opener bash, or any of her attacks. It requires one input to land, and proximity to a wall, nothing else.

ive been waiting for a straight mace character since day one. i think i commented on a video of yours like 4 years ago saying that.
Been so long since I played For Honor.. I stopped playing after like the 2nd or 3rd Battle Pass released… which ever was near Gryphons release I wanna say. Its been so long my Champ status ran out recently & I bought a years worth.. well over a year ago.
Kept tabs on the game here & there but its been a while since I been super interested. Looking forward to this hero & to maybe start playing as much as I did before. & last time I played for hours on in was Marching Fire & Jorm’s release
been a minute since i last played, but this new hero might take me back in cause.. damn that is so cool.
That new hero looks hella fun. BP buffs are nice but some more are needed. Sad that jorm still wont get his time to shine.

I want to know if you can forward flip cancel the chasing bash.
Tier 3 guard looks near instant. Depending on gb vulnerability, could be an insane as a “parry”
Can you ledge with the feats? What sort of distance are we flipping the victim?
Mildly worried about the zerk changes, it's a flat buff sure, but some dodge attacks might not be deflectable on a whiffed unblockable anymore, we'll see when freeze tests the changes but I'm hoping it doesn't affect the main point of his whiff recovs

No Nuxia buffs this time, only reason they would release her hero fest March 9th is a potential rework maybe. It does seem likely but it's not like they haven't teased it and hasn't happened before lol. 4 years Ubisoft, 4 damned years!

Lots of great changes, and Afeera looks like she's gonna be a lot of fun.
Kinda annoying that people are still complaining. I think people are so used to complaining, not just about for honor, that they look for reasons.
Also can't wait to try out Zerk after the change. It's something I wanted, but never really thought we'd get. It'll make him a bit safer in teams, that's for sure.

she seems to have static input timing neutral bash and neutral dodges seems to have that fancy flip animation as well.
I wonder what is the usage of her tier 3 will be. it looks quite slow and thus reactable.
will this be the very first undodgeable bash? feat in the game?
if not what's the usage of this long transition feat that enemy can see her walks from distance and not dare to disrupt it or even dodges it.
If you get upclose to someone with your third feat, maybe it becomes unreactable, since you're gonna have lil time to dodge. Her feats are cool but not much usage on my opinion, of course i'd use them all but the worst so far is her third..
@Stalker8969 perhaps if teammates setup a gank it may be viable..? but that requires proper coordination.
@@Sombian It guarantees 40 damage if im not wrong, so, depending of the character, you can deal above 50 damage easily with one feat and cordination..
If it’s feintable, it’s a instant all guard feintable bash from neutral. Seems scary to me

I think the biggest question on everyone’s mind is the flip!! JC said “it’s not a dodge cancel, just a recovery cancel” which seems to specifically imply no s during the flip. That would make it possible to externally flip away to make attacks whiff, while not actually being able to dodge in, say, a 1v1. If you can get a partner to test this with, I’d love to see that broken down as it’ll make a huge difference lol

Again, he literally specified “it’s not a dodge cancel, just a recovery cancel.” He also never showed it dodging an attack. I suggest rewatching.
@@fgc_bophades and? Is Shinobi’s backflip considered a dodge? I’m simply saying that just because something isn’t a dodge doesn’t mean it lacks s. Just don’t count your chickens until they’re hatched.
@@vapor_snake920 yes, it’s considered a dodge, what else would you call it? It’s a form of movement that traverses distance AND has s. Fwd “dodge” however, is an example of a dash - fast movement with NO s. And I think that’s what Afeera’s flip is from the way JC worded his description.

I am worried about the gank potential. The back to back back flip - front flip on Shinobi is already aids, and the T1 is just an on-demand pin move as well. I really don't like that for some time now, every new hero needs some form of a pin. I like everything else about the hero.

I do want to drop this here, I know you were obviously being sarcastic about the full guard changes. I don't dislike full guards, I play warlord and make decent use of his for teamfights and on some moves like aramusha using his deadly feints, I do however dislike kyoshins just because of how much damage it can confirm in 4v4 for almost 0 effort. As I said I use warlord but it's not just a problem for him, anyone without either a wide sweeping unblockable or a bash with a confirmed sweeping zone after has an insanely unfun time if kyoshin FBS next to them in a larger teamfight or a gank (I do understand you aren't supposed to win ganks) with 1 button press you really negate a lot of options attack wise and if body blocking correctly movement wise as well
I dislike kyoshins full block, not the move type itself and though it'll never happen I'd like to see some adjustments to how the move works to reduce that aspect of it
Question: After the bash “heavies are confirmed” ¿does that mean that you can only parry them or can you dodge a bash heavy follow up?
Bash confirms light _or_ heavy, like conq.
Light probably leads to finishers, heavy attacks are the heavy finishers directly, with reduced damage.

@@DanteEyeoftheTower There is no followup attack after a bash heavy. The bash heavy is a finisher one and will reset her chain. If she instead throws a light, you then have to contend with her finisher mixup.

I have to ask, what’s the point of bashes having the confirmed light when you can do confirmed heavies for more damage? Is there any reason you should ever elect to go for a light after bash? And if the heavies have different damage here too depending on guard direction, wouldn’t you hypothetically just choose the higher damage and thus same direction one every single time, completely negating any situation in which you should use the other two?
Light most likely has better recoveries and also the light after bash has crushing counter property so it’s more effective in a gank set up and harder to hit you out of punishing someone
Probably light goes into strong finisher but heavy doesn't, who knows.
@@kingLorshi the light and the heavy after the bash are finisher attacks so you could only follow them up with a recovery cancel flip
Given undodgeable properties make no sense in a confirmed attack, I am lead to believe these will be target swappable. As for the lights, yeah, crushing counter properties would negate any peeling

Looks like they put way more effort in than with medjay atleast, even if she still doesnt have AMAZING polish but its still a return to atleast trying.
But kit wise... this is basically just shinobi with less moves. People saying that shes "unique" are easily fooled by just putting new animations on existing characters. Sure theres SOME difference, but what, almost 7 years into the games life, we dont need a moveset that closely resembles another, with just some new feats. (hot take i know.)

Eh still does less damage than long bow, can’t be done off screen, and with no hyper means both the feat tackling and the heavy follow up could be interrupted.
I think projectile feats will still be superior

with zerker. i love the 200ms recovery cancel. its hard to say how it will feel since we dont have it but my thoughts are i like and dont like it. zerker was nevery really the dodge attack guy. sure he does that the fwd light that has instant hyperarmor which is good but is very telegraphed and easy to parry. i think they should of kept the 200ms but i think they didnt want to because of the people bitching about orochi and pirate. zerker was never really an op character i think it would of been fine if he kept the 200ms window
