Is there a fill adapter for scba tanks with the snap change valve assembly instead of the more common cga connection? My service predominantly uses this type and i was unable to find an adapter anywhere.

I have a glycerine filled pressure gauge where the rubber plug on the side came out and most of the oil drained out of it. I had an old gauge sitting around so I took the plug out of it and poured the oil into the first one then put the rubber plug back in. Will that affect the gauge's performance?
Second question, the bleeder valve, which is a push button type, doesn't close properly once I drain the hose and continues to leak air until I push it back from the other side. Can that be fixed? Thank you

I just bought a seneca aspen .22. The built in pump has given me issues twice after using it and setting it aside. I man handled the pump handle back open and put oil where needed. Should i be letting the air pressure out every time im done using it? Novice question I know. Im a novice. Thanks.

Hello, I am a bit late for the party but I hope you can advise me about my PCP rifle. So I have a compressor and once I stop filling it I stop the compressor and need to bleed the hose. However, If I slowly bleed the compressor the rifle's valve won't close and will vent all the air in the tank. If I rapidly bleed the air from the compressor the piston valve of the compressor will go bad. Could you please tell me what additional valves I need so I can shut the compressor and then bleed the air safely? Thank you!

90% of all hp(high pressure) tanks start off
Ar 3000 that’s correct 3 thousand psi. No normal at home air compressor will come close to that, so you have to have a special compressor for filling tanks.

AS in under stand it you have two options.
      1) tank fill
      2) pump fill.
Dont forget moisture ingress is the ever present ememyof pCPs.
So technically tank fill is gonna win out there but is a dear way to go.
I'm working on getting pump fill sorted so that the least moisture gets in.
I can t afford tank fill.
There are many many pumps on the market and I gather cross branding is common place.
Some pumps incorporate a moisture filter ...... how well these work I dont know.

Useful, but you made the mistake of allowing the fill probe to contact the floor after filling. (02.16)Neither did you put a plug in the end of the fitting. Both actions are likely to allow dust and contaminants to enter the air chamber and cause future problems. Important to keep all your filling equipment immaculate, I even put my probe in a sealed bag when not in use.
Also, do you not think it worthwhile to fit a moisture trap to a hand pump? On a humid day I think it could be a problem, if the farm compressor is anything to go by. Do PCP tanks rot out like compressor tanks?

and how to fill the big tank? where is air in valve located?

    • @tylerpatner6591
      @tylerpatner6591 7 років тому

You would either take off the fill hose if the compressor used to fill had a DIN valve fill set up or you could fill through the tanks output hose. All depends on the set up of the compressor.

I actually use the pump to firm my stomach then switch over to bending the knees, However, I only do between 10 and 20 pumps at a time then I go about my business come back later and do some more and repeat till done....much easier that way.

Why does your video show you pumping way over 40 times rather than the noted 40 pumps. It is way more than 200 pumps unless your only topping off the tank. I love my quality airguns but it is a very expensive adventure when you come up with carbon fiber tank and even a compressor in addition to the PCP rifles that can cost up to $3000.00.

I ordered an Umarex Gauntlet at 12am and called at 9am to have the caliber changed since I chose the incorrect one from 177 to 22 and was told it was imposible. I also contact your support via email and also let them know about the rudeness of the call and the answered I receive was, sorry for any rudeness here it’s %10 off. I’m going to stay with the rifle as is now since it’s already on it’s way but employees should really value the company as their own and not treat customers like they are not important. I could be 1 guy, but this one guy can recommend a lot others. Thank you anyways. Great video.

Hi, I live in the UK (commonwealth) and would like to buy an air gun. I would be grateful if someone could email me their email so we could discuss. I. Just want to kill rats that are eating my chickens. I want to buy a spring air rifle with multiple capacity so I don't have to reload everytime also I need night scope. I wouldn't mind a pcp but the air reload seems long. Please any recommendations will help I am a total newbie.
I will be shooting from 35-50 metres at nights (very dark conditions)

The pump is the least profitable for companies therefore they barely advertise it.

40 pumps, I don't think so. Your are obviously very fatigued. There are so many bad experiences in what it takes to utilize a hand pump and for most part just don't work very well. Hand pump maintenance is definetly a problem and many pumps are mostly garbage.

Do you think an old propane tank, could be made so it would be filled with air for a pcp air rifle refiling purposes?
Or an old and empty fire extinguisher?

  • @shootgroundhog

I don't know what the intended purpose of this video was. But it definitely convinced me not to buy a PCP rifle. It's either a lot of work or a lot of money.
I'll just stick with my powder burners.

Honestly, if you can legally own powder burners and you don't have an interest in silent shooting. I wouldn't get an airgun either.
Most people that get into air rifles also have powder burners and just like the idea of PCP. Or for people that can't legally own powder burners.

I’m new to this but it’s confusing. My understanding scuba tanks are cheaper because they are heavier and they have a lower capacity?
My PCP rifle has a 250 bars/500 cc bottle attached to it. I asked someone else about using a small scuba to keep in my backpack for portability and average scuba tank for my car and he said the maximum average of an air tank is 3000 psi so this will not fully refill your airgun as you will be short of a full refill and as you keep refilling it, you will get less and less air into your airgun.
If I can get more than one fill from a scuba tank, why won’t it fill my PCP gun fully the first time and less and less the more times you refill your PCP Gun? I have enclosed what he wrote before.
This is the part I don’t understand.
Simply put, How many times can I refill my gun with a small portable scuba tank and how many refills with a normal sized scuba tank?

Pinkus Floydus shooting A LOT in your back yard. saves time, money and ammo. the precision of an airgun over firearm is amazing. try one of the entry level PCPs ( Air Force Talon ? ) and youll understand.
