You have outdone yourself once again, great video. I've always been interested in the crysis-series eversince i played through it and especially the technology behind the nanosuit. And please, do a seperate video on how much of the tech of the nanosuit is already available and if it would be possible to build one in the near future.
The most horrifying thing about the Nanosuit is that, well, it's a human copy of Ceph technology. You know those extremely tough, powerful aliens? They're likely not even the aliens. They're just shears and hedge clippers. They might not even be sentient. The nanosuit is just a ceph exoskeleton refit for a human.
Try the Metro series its similar in some way . Metro 2033 is the first Metro Last Light was the second and Metro Exodus is the last game try it you would love it .
Talked with a guy who worked at Crysis and the story of the game. Apparently the Nanosuit 1 could do a lot of the stuff the N2 could do like keeping its user young and healthy and thus in peak combat conditioning. Nanosuit 2 just did everything the N1 could do, but did it better thanks mostly to SECOND.
is nanosuit that good? I die countless of time in crysis2-3, single shot could easily disable armor mode. . . I play in 'post-human warrior' difficulty though.
PGM991 I beat all 3 games (console versions) on supersoldier difficulty, Crysis 1 literally lets you hide in the bushes without cloaking and you can easily pick off the Koreans without using the suits powers
But the game is supposed to be hard in some way. But lore-wise the nanosuit's armor can only be taken down by the Gauss Rifle (at least as strong as the Gauss Rifle).
I always loved Nanosuit 2. It is one of my favorite science fiction exo suits of all time. If you gave me an option, I would go with this one. I would love to see if a Nanosuit user and Spartan fought and see who would win. I think it might be dead even, because they both have stuff that makes it superior.
Against a baseline Nanosuit wearer, the numbers (Reaction times, raw strength, etc.) still favor a Spartan-II in MJOLNIR armor. However, it's entirely unclear what a Nanosuit can _become_ over time. It's essentially just a Ceph exoskeleton. It has no known upper limit for how much it can evolve. We've seen Stage 3 Ceph, briefly, in Crysis 3. Even a Spartan couldn't stop something like that. Not in a head-on fight, at least. So it's unclear, and rather situational, I think. I should also note that a Nanosuit bypasses a large part of one of the biggest problems with replicating the feats of a Spartan-II with adult volunteers, like the Spartan-IVs: It partially "reprograms" its users, offloads their thought processes onto its own biological circuitry, and feeds additional information to them from stored memory and real-time analysis. Prophet was psychologically very similar to a Spartan-II or III, having lost a great deal of his humanity to the suit. This is despite him starting out as a normal, unaugmented adult volunteer with a comparatively normal life, although he _was_ one of the most elite and exceptional soldiers in the U.S. military: A member of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, or Delta Force, as it's more commonly known. A so-called "Tier One" operator. In the Halo universe, this would make him roughly equivalent in training and fitness to one of the better ODSTs. Essentially, he'd be a strong candidate for the Spartan-IV program, perhaps one of their best if his pre-Nanosuit performance is any indication.
I always found kind of creepy that the suit asimilated Alcatraz's body to resucitated Prophet, like how does the body inside the suit looks like at the beginning of Crysis 3 after so many years? Is it like a literal corpse blended with nanotubes or at that point is just the suit filled with live organs?
In official canon Alcatraz is dead by the end of crysis 2. The person that rises in the final cutscene isn’t even a person. It’s basically the suit mimicking prophet. In the comics he gives control of his body to prophets consciousness inside the suit.. its the fucking suit mimicking prophet. It’s definitely creepy and always looked over
