And don't call in the extraction with 2 minutes left, wait till at least 10 seconds
5 seconds to get one more chopper load of npcs, and probably an exotic, and you will still have 12 secs. to spare to extract.

Good work encouraging people to to do Challenging/Hard.
A certain computer-generated YTer keeps telling people to do Heroic, so single-digit SHDs are all doing that, and it's a "won't extract" situation, which make it (mostly) pointless for them (and us).
Just do the level that you can do and when you've learned about builds and so on move on up - people are happy to carry, but there's a limit to how many in one group will work.

Skill builds are a no no,as the hunters hack your striker drone and your turrets and will kill you and your team with them,trolls do this on purpose you see them throw their sniper turrets right into the nest of hunters at extraction site, if you see this happen you better hope your running a jammer pulse 😀 also don't call in the extraction until you have say 10 seconds left on the clock otherwise you have just lost the time you made doing a fast run getting there,new players think the goal is to extract asap but the real goal is to stretch out the time as long as possible so you can farm the spawns from the helicopters 👍
Playing countdown with your hard-core is hard-core 😮 having an ongoing directive or future initiative on the team is gold

Is it me or did the kinda nerf countdown with whatever your farming because I haven’t gotten a lot of what I’m farming
I run challenging with my Hardcore character. Really helps me get my gear.
So can you get the raid exotics from the caches, even if you havent done the raids?
I think it's the last loot box before you extract and countdown it seems to always freeze me up as well but yeah pucker factor for sure LOL hardcore character I haven't even had the guts to try countdown or descent yet
@21:15 - It's a know bug that you run the risk picking up the final crate loot that you'll crash.
On Challenging/Heroic, Protect VIP hasn't caused any issues, and you get to kill a LOT more enemies. (This assumes a decent team, of course.)

For some reason, that spot is where I've frequently had the game hang. Really strange (and frustrating, just as the good bit is appearing (assuming you have a decent team)).

In my experience countdown will crash (on PC) about 1 in 10 times when you pick up the cache of the main objective. Its been that way since day one.
Is there a reason why i cant matchmake in Countdown? How come I cant toggle Targeted Loot? Is it because I boosted to 30?

Can you get the Iron Lung to drop in Countdown? Or do I have to buy exotic caches at the countdown store? I've been trying to get it for a nearly a month by those two ways but I haven't gotten it yet
Iron Lung was season 2, so _should_ be in the general loot pool. I would buy the countdown store exotics, too, to increase your changes.

I love countdown. I do it in challenging. I dont believe I have done it in heroic. I dont get alot of exotics but I do get highend items. Good stuff. Thats f up if you lose your hardcore character
Sometimes I forget to clear sufficient room in my inventory to pick everything up and end up having to break everything down or be happy with what I've picked up, heed my warning people! Make sure you have room!
I have had this happen to me 3 times on countdown. Done main mission then froze
That crash thing happens at least 2-3 times a week for me. Friend who plays as much as me says the same 1-2 times a week. At least a year like this
Today I have at least 7 crashes is really annoying :S
as per observation and experience, to avoid crash, as soon as you get the last loot on final mission, don't run. just walk for at least 5 seconds, then you can run. no crashes eversince.

@@christobotes8632 Some more tips to avoid crashes. Limit fps to 60, vsync OFF, enabled reduced latency to NO. Hope that helps.
I run on Challenging, a few times on Heroic but I didn’t see the difference in npc and Boss fights, guess I had pretty good teammates but definitely for me Challenging which is better for farming weapons etc.
Well, if you don't see a difference, stay on Heroic and earn more Tokens...
The amount of loot is the diff. There is more drops. Sane quality as challenging. More elites in heroic that drop more loot.

I was in a countdown today and the group leader kicked legitimately 15-20 people. I was the lowest shd level at 450ish and there were people with 20+k shd after ALLL that no one called in extraction with 2 ppl sitting in the zone and a wave of hunters having just died, no enemies on the map -_- too funny

On Challenging, if you spawn in in-time to get the first hunter, you'll end up with 158 credits. If you don't spawn in-time, you'll get 140. I'm guessing you'll get additional if you complete all 3 encounters but very rarely do groups do that. Just saying this so people don't think they'll get 180.
I´ve played a lot of Countdown and often have done protect the VIP and we had have never problems with the time.
i´m doing this also for my HC (using the points to buy an exo box) but only run with my SC. Because i can support my team much better and have no fear of loosing my HC and as it seen on your video, maybe an other push you out of cover. Don´t risc your HC and note: you doesn´t know how good your team is. So for me it´s 1h for 2 time exo box and additional exo components if they drop.

Something going on in this game they change something in the game make the enemy run like flash and fly like a bird you shoot the enemy they start running like flash cant even hit them and when you shock them they start flaying using st.elmo losing Interest in this game glitch too much and kick you out a lot of time

The crash happens on normal characters to such a pain.

Idek how yall are even playing countdown, when I do manage to get a working session, you can’t even extract at the end. You’re just stuck on the end screen. I have to close out my game completely and not get any extraction bonus. This mode is ass
