  • Expertise on mental health conditions can come from all angles and experiences. You don’t need to have a PHD for your experiences to give you expertise around a mental health condition. Many of us have lived-in experiences or have been caretakers and supporters, and each of these experiences have valid insight to share.

In this episode, The Expert is In (Part 2), we listen in as DaVonte, diagnosed with bipolar disorder, continues the conversation about his experience with Mary, whose family member has bipolar disorder. Mary is a NAMI LA Chapter board member.
