I love how each one has its own personality. Colored Pencils seems based on Dennis Hopper in "Apocalypse, Now", Rubber Band kind of reminds me of Kelsey Grammar as Sideshow Bob, Hole Punch kind of loosely based on Wolfman Jack, Tape reminds me a little bit of a mix of Fonzie from Happy Days and Rocky Balboa from the Rocky movies, Scissors is like a black knight type character, almost reminding me of old school Ganon/Ganondorf from the older Zelda games (including the composure breakdown near the end), and Stapler is based on a dog but also a chain chomp (which is also based on a dog). I could be totally off-base, but that's how I hear the voices

They get outclassed by the Stapler in terms of violence (Not by the effect shown but by the boss itself) whilst Scissors here outclasses ALMOST THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE in terms of intellegence (He was shown to have calculated the odds of Mario coming to destroy the green streamer too likely to happen & even calculated the precise time & angle to ALMOST MURDER Mario & EVEN attempted to JUKE him from the third FINAL CUT onwards!)
I wish there it was a Pink Streamer with an Eraser boss Stapler works better with Origami Castle because of the Black Color scheme and its foreshadowing at the start of the game

A guy with literal missiles, a dude who held a bunch of toads captive to watch their show, a guy who literally threatened a lot of toads to danceby literally punching a hole in their faces, a mobster tape with a pompadour with a motorcycle and brass knuckles, a shell creature with small pieces of like everything on it, freaking scissors that has a cover as a sheathe and a stapler dog.
