- Yet another addition of a song devoted to a bit of a darker content. Em sure does have the knack to, let's say, broaden his horizons...
To hear this uninterrupted - • Eminem - Buffalo Bill ...

Whenever someone asks why Eminem would write such a song or something like "3am." my answer is why not. Music is a creative process just like movies. Lyrics are the movie script. And just as how a horror/thriller script writer gets praised for how good that movie was, Eminem's creativity should be praised!
obviously ems creativity should be prasied but when you have a white man dominating black culture, or a lyrical rapper topping hit charts… there’s a lot of room for hate.
agree ima special effects artist andsculptoran often wake at odd times just a thought and have to do it there n then then go back to bed , but better when that vision hits to get it down rather than oh will wait till later , it never is better thn doing right then
But it never occurred to me I could describe a murder scene
In a verse and be charged with first degree
'Cause it just happened to match up perfectly
With the massacre or the Burger King burglary..
My thoughts exactly when people say why does he do music like this.. why do movie producers make horror films? It’s called art
@@garydavey1806 💯💯 I'm getting so sick of these double standards . Burn a body at a mortuary, then "you're doing your job" But when done at your home, you're"destroying evidence" 😂😜♥️
Fun fact!!! During this album Relapse - Eminem was on the beginning recovery route from drug addiction, he spent alot of time watching serial killer documentaries, it's why this album is so psychotic and amazing ❤
React to Guilty Conscience!
Just my thoughts here....... People who are reacting to Eminem should listen to his discography in chronological order. You will get a little piece of who he is at the time. For me it's also nice to see how much better he becomes, not at all saying he was ever bad but from the infinite album to mtbmb 2 is a completely different person. I'm only saying this as someone who grew up listening to his music as it came out.
Absolutely! Obviously you can appreciate how he evolved, but he makes everything connect from day one. Literally a genius for that.. that's why it's fun to go from the beginning because you'll find Easter eggs from other songs that he was basically predicting years into the future lol💯💯👍🔥
Agreed! Would love to see a reactor do it that way. Definitely wouldn’t have to worry about what to come up with next (video uploads) 😊
Infinite is dope and way underrated.
Agreed
This was post-rehab and he was watching tons of scary movies/serial killer movies/documentaries when he wrote most of these. That is literally the explanation they have given. He was watching a ton of horror movies and wanted to explore that in his art. The Steven King of Rap?
Eminem always had dark themes in his songs
So this song is actually from RELAPSE! Most of his songs from RELAPSE are like this, it's like a horror/thriller album and he uses this same accent. He did this so he could rhyme words with other words that don't normally rhyme and this is after his OD when he was relearning to rap and started watching a lot of horror movies during rehab.
Relapse refill
Its actually from refill
Yes the sub genre is called horrorcore I believe...!!!
It's dark and it's twisted but also enlightening..!!
Enlightening?
To see the mind of a psychopath depicted in art. It’s interesting and ‘enlightening’ to see how they work
If you could react to "Careful what you wish for" that would be a great addition!
That's a great song!
Send him a link.. he's more likely to react with a link

Happy Moms Day to your special ladies!❤
You too my dear friend!!!!!!
Ufff... Dang! I freaked out that I forgot about Mother's day... but it's on May 26th here in Poland.
One thing to know when reacting to Eminem is what point of his career the song was made. Seems like you're looking for double entendres and punchlines in this one but he didn't really start rapping that way until the next album. Before Recovery it was all storytelling and cadence. As he got older he's become better at rapping but has less to rap about, so now he mostly raps competitively, to be the best rapper (he still has great concept/storytelling songs, they just aren't as frequent). It helps to know where you're at chronologically in his career so you know when and when not to overthink.
“Hope this isn’t like FACK” made me laugh out loud😂 just found this page and haven’t watched that reaction yet but I’m glad y’all got him with that one lmao
Ed Gein from Plainfield Wisconsin is the person referenced to wild Bill, psycho, Texas chainsaw massacre. Ed Gein was accredited to being one of the first known serial killers aside from Jack the ripper. I believe they say Ed Gein is the first known American serial killer/ grave robber. I know this might sound weird my grandparents actually knew Ed Gein personally so I know alotta stories about this. It was something that my parents used to scare me about strangers. I don't like this song surprisingly but I actually love history and criminal minds things. Anyway... keep up the good work.
The accent album. Just say NO to drugs kids! 😂
I love that album!!
Been a while since I’ve watched a video, glad to see you’re still finding new em songs
one of my favorite songs he's ever made. some might say that's weird but its genius in every aspect, and that dre beat is too hard.
Dad of two sons here, happy husband, no dark thoughts whatsoever, I hate horror movies, love comedies, but man, I love this song. Soooo much skill put in it, and the beat is awesome. It is dark as fuck, but at the same time, its a masterpiece.
The fact that this is so not relatable is the genius of this song. I mean how do you describe the point of vew of a monster like this? Thats the art of the great writers and poets-to enter a state that they never experienced and re live it, and to articulate it to everyone else . thanks and i recommend the song :by eminem the kids(really funny, and i put a link in the past on other comment's of mine in your channel) thanks !
I really like the fact that you're just casually singing the chorus of that lovely song, such beautiful lyrics lol 😅
Loved the reaction again! 😉
Music box would be a great reaction if you enjoy this style of Em!
Yesss!! Very creepy
Probably eminems best song ever
Fun fact! One day when we lived in another town, my mom was driving to the next town over from us and saw a bunch of shady looking black sedans parked outside of a rehab center. She later found out that the rehab center is where Eminem went and those black sedans were his! Mom said she was confused as to why he would go to that place because in her words “that place is for alcoholic dads and housewives with pill addictions. I don’t know why a big shot celebrity would go there.” Ahaha just a cool fact.
Nice!
While disturbing a bit, this is a really good song. Fast, with a great cadence.
"No, I don't have that voice" I died laughing at one lol
I've spent 2 days watching your videos man (mostly all the Eminem and Nfs because they inspire me and have for me through and still get me through dark days and hard times. I love a few other ones as well but ya content is awesome and you seem really cool man, I lost my father in 2004 and all I can think is how your son, is lucky to have such a cool ass dad like you. Can't wait for more.
Hi JT. Thank you so very much for your kind words. You are so very kind, and I have no doubt that your dad is so very proud of you. Blessings my friend.
Stay wide awake is even more morbid and disturbing but a true masterpiece
The thing about this song is people aren't really going to want to jam to this in the car. But it's an incredible song that took a lot of creativity. That's what people misunderstand about Em
The thing about this song is no one seems to realise its a song about the movie Silence of the lambs
This song is off his dark masterpiece "Relapse" as a bonus track. Like any movie/book, music is also art.
Horror core Eminem is the slim shady we all need 😂
To clarify the line about Christopher Reeve, he was an actor who played Superman in the 1980s. He suffered an injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down, hence the line.
Boy, I remember watching that Superman when I was younger. At the time, it was incredible special effects. It hasn't aged all that well, though.
@@larryshair
I did like that movie, though I was always more of a Batman fan myself.
I'm not sure if you saw my other comment, but I recommend that you listen to 'I Love It' by the Hilltop Hoods and Sia. They're an Australian hip-hop group that has a great flow and Sia provides great background vocals and a great chorus, as usual.
(Fun Fact: Sia was born and raised in Australia, and she actually went to school members of the Hilltop Hoods)
Makes my skin crawl Though it's well crafted but man! each scene from Silence of the Lambs, Mind Hunter plays in my head 😵 and that dialogue from Hannibal "What's it going to be, bowels in or bowels out?" 😵😵😵
Hey man, love your video's! You really should check out Eminem - Marshall Mathers, one of my favourite songs!
Great comments below but didn’t see this one. I think in a way, because of when this game out (right after rehab and his career seemed to be over), this song was him flexing on the music industry. He wasn’t looking to make enemies cause he was rebuilding and stretching his lyrical ability. He’s displaying strength and not singling out other rappers by design. In other words he was warning mc’s that he will come right after their necks because he’s Buffalo Bill…. or a serial killer. He did this by fabricating this story. It’s a flex and posturing for dominance. Like when a male chimp displays his strength for group respect.
Big ups for remembering the song man, and for reading that overly long comment, lol.
Lol one thing you need to know about eminem is that not EVERY song he does is deep and meaningfull with a point, he has a bunch of songs that are simply him having fun and messing around, this is certainly one, they are not for everybody, this song was from the bonus cd of relapse, not on the main album, and the song FACK was made as a troll track, its hilarious watching people react to that and not no what to do with themselves because so many people are disgusted by it AS INTENDED lol he put it on his greatest hits album and he still laughs about that fact today 🤣 i love his sense of humour!!
This song is an allegory. There are deeper levels to Eminem songs that you don't know about.
Facts lol he doesn't waste words 😂👍
@@ClifffSVK oh yes... The rabbit hole goes DEEP...
Christopher Reeves played Superman way back in the day... And something happened. I believe he fell off a horse but I could be mistaken and became disabled from the neck down. And was bound to a chair
Yes, he broke his neck in a horse riding accident and passed a good handful of years ago now. Of course he's famous for Superman, but I totally recommend "Somewhere In Time". You'll love it.
@@larryshair seen it!! Amazing work from Chris..
Dry wall is also a building material that you hang up when building houses
If you were fascinated by The Silence Of The Lambs, yoiu'll love this song
Haven’t let you down yet lol. Appreciate you as always
Em fascination with horror a real thing......he used to tour with a Jason mask
Like a movie
Awww!! Harry Mack playlist "updated today" 😍 can't wait for it to drop 🙃
uncomfortable content, but this whole album has some crazy cadences, schemes, internal rhymes, ........................PURE FLAMEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!
Great song, classic Em
"I hope this isn't anything like fack" lmao
buffalo bill ... silence of the lambs ... skins victims
aka ed gein a real guy sicko
Now we're talking. Let's go
Eminem 3am is the best
Love it! UA-cam is azzhole.. I've been wondering where you were, and apparently they unsubscribe me from you.. great job reacting to this masterpiece ❤
Thanks so much for your kind comments! Welcome back!
@@larryshair 👍😘
Same Song and Dance is a must react!
Relapse album is amazing
I think it's just personal taste.
And like somebody in the comments already said it's really not glorifying serial killers at all, we know the storytelling that eminem has and all of that, and we also already know that most of "slim shady" kind of songs aren't marshall real toughts , it's like a movie, telling a fictial story about a serial killer in the point of view of a serial killer, we know that these song don't need to be taken seriously, and many people like me are into this kind of stuff just because (personally for me) are a huge fan of horror stuff in general. It's just em being creative, the beat is good, the hook is catchy and the rhyme scheme, god, is so good.
There's many song like this from eminem catalog, and look, if I have to recommend something like this I'll definely say that you listen to "Music Box". I love that song so much, it's kind of dark yes, but man, the flow, the rhyme scheme, the sweet melody despite being a dark song . Not may be one of your favorites if you listen to it but I think it deserves a listen. (link if you decide to listen to it: ua-cam.com/video/ecpIrPX46FU/v-deo.html)
It's so painful to read comments like this, saying that these songs are just an artistic expression and that they have no deeper meaning. Most of the songs on Relapse are allegories. People love Eminem, but they don't understand his art. Relapse is the epitome of the "tears of a clown" metaphor.
@@ClifffSVK em said himself, he just was really into serial killer documentaries in 2008, and decided to make an album out of it
@@Francis_Higgins It doesn't change the fact that these songs are allegories 🙂
Larry's catching more bars than Rap Genius 😅
lol, I doubt that, but thanks!
Would love to see you react to Eminem's induction into the Rock n Roll hall of fame (you can find the full video with Dr Dre's speech, Ems performance and then his own speech). I think you'll love it! Also would be great to watch you react to any of his interviews, it will give you a lot of deeper insight into him (the Kamikaze one would be a good one, for example or the podcast with Mike Tyson).
Story time... 2009 relapse Era Eminem was on alot of serial killer bars. Both Buffalo Bill and the Texas chainsaw massacre were based off the same serial killer..... Ed Gein. 👌😱❤️
This song is particularly based off on gary heidnik who kidnapped several women and put them in his basement
@Lack of a better name Bill in the movie was based on 3 people, Gary Heidnik, Ed Gein and Ted bundy. The song references Ed Gein heavily as well by making skin suits out of people lol. It starts with a sewing machine sewing up some chick into an outfit.
@@lackofabettername3589 this song in particular is just based on buffalo bill 😂
@@Francis_Higgins like op said buffalo Bill was based on three real life serial killers so I was 1/3 right
Let’s do thissssssss!!!!!
This is off his relapse album, the 1 that u have spoken about where he states himself the album was trash
It’s not trash!!! He never said it was trash either, he just understands why some critics can’t stomach it!
@@Oatmilllk *fuck my last cd it sits in my trash* not afraid
He is a very serious horror fan.
His knowledge of serial killers is probably unmatched as well as mental disorders and defects in criminals. Hes drawing from the thought patterns of a psychopath here.
Incredibly genius and misunderstood verses! Verse 1 in particular is focused on thought patterns being broken and distorted. The rest is an onslaught of what these people go through in their minds. Hes exposing you to reality and breaking down a barrier in society where ppl dont know what is actually happening with these people! He makes light of it to serve it in a way that you can digest it.
When i see it (Eminem..) saying finalyyy..😁
But noooooooo…😭😭😭
But again a beautiful reaction..with good explanations..😎
Still waiting (Lucky You) reaction…👀🙏😁
Still waiting for "White America" reaction 😆
❤
I've recommended before but if you're really wanting to do a deeper dive into Eminem, you should really get into some of his beefs. Ja Rule/Benzino beef specifically.
If you're wanting to look into it, start at the beginning with "Loose Change " by Ja Rule. It's the track that really brought Em into the 50/Ja beef
Its called horrocore rap, he takes his influences in film and music and tv, puts it into his own words and tells his own morbid stories. Hip hop has room for way for words and ideas so it seems more evil and fucked up, but media and music have been saying and portraying stuff like this for centuries.
I hear things like this and I wonder if he's ever done some really sweet loving ones. I reckon there's probably a album or two he's done just for his kids that will never be heard
He has a lot of sweet loving songs. Beautiful is a great example but he has a lot
Hes mostly just done songs like that. Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, Hailies Song, and Castle/Arose being the most prominent.
I HEAR THE GUY AT END MARK
Whys this man holding random pasta noodles lmao
Got to be deja-vu next it’s from the same album
If you like classic Rock and Blues, you should react to Janis Joplin, the Pearl of Rock.
"Get It While You Can", "Maybe", "Cry Baby", "Work Me, Lord!" and "Summertime", whether live or studio are phenomenal and are testaments to the power of her voice and rare vocal range. She could hit the 3 octaves at once and could change the range and tone of her voice as easily as Eminem can flow. She had a velvety smooth rasp mixed with an angelic churchy mezzo-soprano voice, which is a rare vocal ability.
If you react, I'd suggest watching her live because that's rhe best way to experience Janis. Janis's music requires visual as well as audible experience to feel the spine-tingling, goosebumps-causing soul that she excudes.
Great recommendations!! ❤
I don't think you have formally been introduced to eminem unless you react to the song "MY NAME IS"
"Stay wide awake" i feel like would be a logical next step D: Also in the horrorcore genre, but yet a true masterpiece. This MF'er be rapping every word in a whole god damn song almost (it feels like)
No different then Stephen king writing novels.. Eminem just writes them and acts them out in 4 minutes through music…
After this you should react to - stay wide awake. It’s got the same vibe .
Yes or 3am. Stay Wide Awake uses stories of all real serial killers and rapists crimes. It’s amazing how he puts it all together
Its art buddy . Don't think about it too much . No one can make artistic songs like this except eminem
guilty conscience will be great!
A song which i think you should react to is "Difficult". It was an unreleased track by Eminem and very emotional!
Awesome reaction! Please react to Superman next!
If you stopped halfway through fack you missed the best part, also react to Insane
HOME FREE - GIVE ME A SIGN. Please.
The cadence reminds me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers Give it Away
😂😂👍 I can't stop singing that now
@@BackyardButcher Sorry 😬😊 Do you hear it?
You are getting some bad Eminem request bro. You’ve reacted to some of my request and shouted me out. Appreciate it bro but damn u need to listen to better ‘em songs for you
Love your content. Suggestion:
Memory - From "Cats"
Nicole Scherzinger
Did she cover that?? I need to check it out ❤
@@BackyardButcher She kills it. Especially toward the end. She put so much emotion into it. I loved it!
No real big double meanings in this song.. rhats more of a more mature eminem thing. This is just him being crazy baxk in the day lol EDIT: hes glorifying it because hes literally a serial killer in his mind 😂
Listen to stay wide awake same album actually the whole
Album is amazing and mostly serial killer themed
2ND ME YOU NEED TO SHARE THIS
GONEZO............ RESPECT PITVON
MARK
You should react to "music box". Is similar in theme but darker and with a more "delusional, inner thoughts?" Tone
Don’t get me wrong I appreciate this song and the artistery but you are listening to the wrong songs for you as a listener
react to Careful what you wish for by Em
Do MAC MILLER - HERE WE GO
Lyrics videos are often wrong by the way. If its not making sense the lyrics are probably incorrect
My Darling is the best song on this album. Please react to it!
recommending another diss track by Eminem towards Mariah Carey in response to her song about him (her song "Obsessed" - ua-cam.com/video/H1Yt0xJKDY8/v-deo.html)
his diss/response to her + her husband at the time Nick Cannon is "The Warning" (ua-cam.com/video/Ksu8TjxAzxM/v-deo.html)
He's taking you through a horror film relax not real
Do stronger then I was emine.
The lyrics in the video are not accurate at all. So many lines that make no sense in the video because the person who made it didn't hear it correctly.
Anthony Vincent made a really cool version of "Lose yourself" in the style of Linkin Park. I'm sure you'd love it!
But fack is a great song it’s not the greatest hits album 😢
Contra, band... van. Band van haha thats clever as fuck and never came to my attention 😅
In my opinion this is one of the weaker songs of him. Catchy hook, yes. But else, kind of lazy writing, he could have made more out of the story.
So many better songs.
So? 😂😂😂
Every song you could name, there's "so many better songs" that you probably haven't heard of
This is a good song
Maybe listen to the whole verse first before reviewing? It’s distracting stopping the song every 15 seconds
Pauses (often) help prevent copywrite blocks. You won't be able to review many songs if you were to try it without them getting blocked by YT. I getcha, but the pauses do help prevent the video from being banned.
Drywall to be replaced but...
How long will the wall full of decomposing bodies take to dry (Stop decomposing and smelling like death).
you should react to more off of his relapse album. Its basically the mind of a killer, you should react to "Stay Wide Awake" or "Bagpipes from Baghdad"
this is horrorcore rap kinda like horror movies and this is based on a horror movie this whole album is horrorcore
