Quit the opposite, you can use run off gas flares and contain landfill gasses and mine Bitcoin. Which is literally helping save the planet.

@jec_ecart, In Texas there are Bitcoin farms where they refine oil so instead the gases go into the atmosphere, they power the bitcoin farm and no emissions. That's good for the environment.
