Bitmain S19 Hydro Deployment Deep Dive
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- Merkle Standard was kind enough to invite us out to see one of North America's first Bitcoin mine's running the S19 Hydro Water-Cooled Miner. These beast were rocking a 275TH Max with the average sitting around 250TH per unit at around 6200w. We walk you through the a recently acquired paper mill in Washington State where this mine is being setup at.

Best content ever... 225mw capable omg
*needs to find a decommissioned paper mill*
Love this content dude. Would love to see more stuff like this in the future!
cheers - thanks!
Only BBT could deliver the first meaningful deep dive of Bitmain hydro miners. Thanks for sharing how the sausage gets made (props to BBT and Merkle)! Wishing you the best of luck! 354 likes? We can do better than that!
The converted paper mill is genius. I work in printing and the waste is amazing. Energy isn’t even considered just how much paper is thrown away. A lot of paper mills have closed recently, paper has been hard to source since Covid
very good
Fantastic setup, thanks for bringing us the tour!
Oh hell yea, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Drop the flood gates and roll that beautiful Crypto footage!
Really impressive. Thanks for showing us this.

Dude this is awesome! Can't wait to grow!
This is basically what I work on in high rises. Pretty cool. Why not have a sealed system with a heat exchanger for the miner side (core water). This would emanate the dumping of water but you would have to chemically treat the tower water. It seems like it takes tower water only to remove the heat.
Iam from Chile and here i cant see this industry, so i love this, thanks so much and suscribed 🤗
Always been curious about this, thank you BBT
I worked in a oil Refinery supplying deionized water, it was a pain, tanks had to be changed out daily.
Awesome thanks your changing our world for the better I’ve been wrong before but not as happy I was!

damn bro!
Excelente vídeo, thanks for your work with it
Excellent work, are the first ones I see showing the complete system working. amazing set up!!!. Does the antspace include the cooling system?
Yes, the container & cooling tower both come together, along with 210 Hydro units. Its a packaged deal. But there is a bit of work to make it functional.
@@BitsBeTrippin Hey BBT, we didn't see no update about the immersion setup ?
@@Steve25g check Twitter - will post update
@@BitsBeTrippin thx for the answer, not on twitter though
thank you for this overview of the cryptoasset mine
Fascinating from an engineering perspective. A lot of work keeping the cooling water clean. Scale is what ruins many a hot water heater in our homes. I can only imagine what goes into maintaining water purity at that scale (no pun intended).
Nice👍
Dude super sick!
Really awesome content! Can’t wait to see the gpu farm there.

Why not use coolant for vehicles as the substitute?
Love these videos!
Why not just go full immersion cooling?
✉️📊📩ꜱᴇɴᴅ ᴍᴇ ᴀ ᴅɪʀᴇᴄᴛ ᴍᴇꜱꜱᴀɢᴇ ʀɪɢʜᴛ ᴀᴡᴀʏ...👆
Asking myself the same question what are the pros and cons vs immersion cooling
Stunning, How did you manage to put 6.2-7 kw into s19hydro. Custom Firmware ? Or modification on hardware ? Thanks for help 😊
Damn!!

The level that this site is amazing!

Damn this was interesting content you can’t find anywhere else - did the power company outfit the papermill or private party?

Where is this located? Do you know what kind of rate they are getting on electricity? thanks for making the videos!!
Bitcoin BTC Cryptocurrency for the Algorithm
that is wild DC
Does this mean commercial miners will be forcing out home/hobby miners?
That install, at it's industrial scale, is a bit intimidating.
Already have. Where you been all these years? 😂
The Hydro unit really isn’t for a Home Miner
@@BitsBeTrippin Exactly. Will home miners be able to compete for shares with new businesses using hardware at that scale in 10 years? Looks like the the industrial sized miners might squeeze the hobbyists out if more of these businesses arise.
Great content but i start thinking as a home miner how are we suppose to compete/be profitable when this companies have so much hash power and miners are so efficient
✉️📊📩ꜱᴇɴᴅ ᴍᴇ ᴀ ᴅɪʀᴇᴄᴛ ᴍᴇꜱꜱᴀɢᴇ ʀɪɢʜᴛ ᴀᴡᴀʏ...👆
Nothing good can come from these size operations. Easy to regulate 10-15 giant companies.
BBT Inspiring as always
Looking forward to your Gpu section.
Does this AntSpace container recycle heat as electricity?
Probably not.
Amazing content!

What's the cost difference between the air-cooled and the additional evaporative liquid cooling tech?
Damn, that is amazing man !!! makes my gpu's feel like garbage, lol
thank you :)
Wow
Is the water shower using the same water that is pumped through the units or is that just providing evaporative cooling for the radiators that the fans are pulling air through?
Yes, same water
So these hydro setups use actual water?
If yes, I don't see this being scalable. Water is so scarce, so these deployments won't gain traction.
800 to 200 what? TDS?
Asic miner value shows ROI = never
Problem with hydro is the water purity. Its expensive…
Thats whats required to be a profitable bitcoin miner these days.
Selling mining machine graphics cards, which can be sent to all parts of the world, is absolutely reliable!
roi in about 30 years
