Get a pure power fuel filter will work better than paper filters
That’s a customers unit I am a mechanic lmaoo n 99% of my customers want oem parts . I would say I would look at them for my duramax but my duramax is a fass 165 gph hahah

Sorry for late reply I am 99% certain yes I am in process of confirming it’s the same part number. My parts catalogs are not showing GM 2024 to me yet it looks like only accessories temporary until it’s updated like every year. But I have connections since I’ve been in the industry for 30 years and I’m working on getting that confirmed.
Because it’s the same engine , and same fuel setup , the aftermarket guys are already claiming it’s the same so I’m 99% certain yes but I am confirming from gm themselves as we speak 👍🏽

I would clean out the filter housing and drain any remaining water before popping on the filter and screwing it back on
No need there is no water to drain there , or any water there at all it’s all fuel , you would be wasting fuel if you did that . Please nobody listen to his comment it’s bad advice
There is a drain screw in bottom of filter cannister to drain water.

Why do they put a drain screw in very bottom.If it drained fuel it wouldnt spill out when you uncrewed the cannister.
Fuel does spill out when you unscrew it and fuel drains out constantly until you put everything back together that’s why the bucket is under catching all The fuel that drains not water

What does the drain plug do on the very bottom of cannister.?
