Why? The latency would make such a feature a no-go for DJing.
@@digitaldjtips depends on the amount of latency and the type of mixing. Maybe a workaround would be to mix only in your headphones? I’m imagining the latency is somewhat comparable to mixing in a club with tons of echo without a proper monitoring system in the booth.

This is a good workaround for not having an aux input like there is on the xdj rx3 and such.

Just found a list of keyboard shortcuts on page 38 of the manual…. Would be great to know if anybody has tried them for loading songs to the decks etc

Hi, thanks for tip. Is there only a time line when you can download software update? I do have a mixstream pro, but it seems like the update is not showing on my unit. How can i resolve this? Do i need to connect my unit to a laptop in order for me to download the latest version of engine dj?
Depends on your current version. Their support site has all the info.
Wonder if they will enable the Bluetooth on all Prime and SC units. The chipset is on the PCB's, just not used yet.
@@djstuc Its annoying. As an electronics engineer by day, i took my Prime4 apart as soon as i got it to see what made it tick and was surprised to see bluetooth in there. SC5000 and SC6000 too.
Don't think I'll do much mixing with Bluetooth Out, though it's a cool option. Just one step away from Bluetooth OUT on the Prime Go..... 😊

Not available for the prime 4 😢
It is. On my prime go it didn't show as an option when I connected to WiFi so I just downloaded it from the website on USB and updated it via USB. It'll probably show up over wifi soon. I imagine it takes time to roll it out wirelessly and it's just been released now. Prime 4 shows as an option on the website though
Waiting for the over the air download. Looks a little limoted but a great free update so nothing to complain about there. Hope they fixed a few of the 3.30 bugs in the process.
@@shunharris95I have updated to 3.4 no Bluetooth option as the chip in the original P4 has issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Denon have confirmed only some devices are compatible for this.
Phil, not sure why you mentioned that but effects and jogs don’t work on this …
It was an error if I did say that, thanks for pointing it out - the only transport controls that work are the ones I showed on the screen.

I've tried this on my SC Live 4 today and effects and filters are not supported. Touch effects on the screen are but not beat effects. You can use the start/pause, track skip, EQ, and volume controls on the mixer.
Hopefully filters and effects in a future update
This does sound more like an add so you can sell more equipment in your "store". What you said is not true if a person can't perform a clean output mix for the people with decent music selection from the crowd the owner of the enstablishment won't be intrested into booking them again. Owners also talk to each other and that would put a Newbie DJ Reputation kinda low making everything twice as hard than before to get booked.
So while the -" let me inspire you" is a noble idea reality is just cold.
You can do it or you can't there was never anything between DJ'ing is a buisness like anything else.
