That's everybody's fear. I own a software development agency, I write books and it might seem like I have smth to say, but I'm always having this fear of... like... uhm, okay, I cannot talk for hours about my business, it's boring to people, right? And I cannot repeat myself, right?.. But... a long road starts with a single step. Everything needs but a beginning. You've got a lifetime of experience behind your back, and there might be people looking for the advice you can provide. Think about WHO you can help, not WHAT you can talk about. Good luck! 👍

I had interest to learn and trade the financial market because my job wasn't paying so well. My friends discouraged me. They told me that i would lose my money. What i did was to hire a regulated broker who handles all my trading activities while I pay 25% commission.

    • @jonipetty6081

      Currently, I earn not less than 27, 0 0 0 every month.
My friends who discouraged me already join the trade and they are all doing well. Don't let NOBODY tell you, you would fail.
      There's no harm in trial.

@Mirela Rosa lol..that's what I earn only from trading. I have a full time job and from my savings from online trading, I bought a restaurant, a small restaurant though with some real estate properties. I just hope that motivates someone out there never to quit.

    Word!!
To be honest I was always (and still am) such a private person so I am still shocked at these two steps I made. UA-cam and starting my own business. I am still trying to figure out what snapped inside of me to step out of my comfort zone. I wouldn't say I am a fearful person but it just wasnt me...but here I am nevertheless. Thanks for the vid. It will help lots of folks.

Hey Erin my biggest fear is lack of action. I want my mom and 2 sisters to get into a business together because i feel we will all have our best interest at heart to build family wealth, but I get discouraged because ideas flow from the mouth but no action is taken and i dont want to regret getting into business with family and it being more of a burden than a success. Love your Channel thank you for the shared gemz!!!!

Kelsey Medley Wow! We just had to stop and tell you that you have a very sweet heart and considering the wealth and success of your family plus the next generation is amazing of you. Never let anyone change you from being that kind and considerate.
Secondly, we have been where you are and still have dreams for relatives. We had to sit back and be honest about their work ethic. You’ll see that there will be some you can’t work with a few that you can. Ultimately you have to know your limits, theirs, and set concrete business roles AND expectations with them. Keep working on you because we’ve been there and most times, it will always be you who will actually have to be the first willing person to set the example for them to follow. They may have fears too.

I started my business a year ago and I started putting my items on eBay and Etsy and I only got 20 sales from Etsy and none from eBay. I took great pictures and posted on FB every day and didn't get any support for my business. I was selling wax melts and now. I stopped posting on FB because It was interfering with my mental health. I've moved on to something else now and I'm in isolation. I would say the hardest part for me have been getting support for my business and I'm scared that no one will like my products but I guess that's normal.

I've been wanting to start a UA-cam channel and work for myself for the longest time now and I think that my biggest fear isn't failure but success. I'm terrified of being successful, what that means and how it will impact my family. I mean I know that success is a good thing but I still have a ton of what ifs sending my brain 🧠 into overdrive and triggering my anxiety. If I were to become really famous and successful would they have a positive or negative impact on my marriage or our son. It's just really scary to me.

Agreed. Congratulations on your business ventures! You can do either or. Housing your LLC as the umbrella that covers everything else can be done, but does everything coincide with one another? It depends on the type of service each one is. Like if you solely promote as your main business and then want to have an event that is branded and trademarked and presented by your promotion company - that might loop around fluidly. Definitely deep digger on if that will best and convenient for you or not. Best wishes! - Shanetta

What is my fear??? I don't have enough confidence in myself. My writing skills aren't great or how much is this going to cost. On the other hand, what do I have to loose? I have a great ideal I just need to push myself more 🙏🏾

We’ve been there with the confidence thing. It’s crazy how it can kind of paralyze you. And when you have ideas and a lack in writing, get together with someone who you can give your writings/typed samples to and get their feedback. Great things to note would be the content - the purpose. Who are your writing it for? What should the tone be? What is the end goal of the writing? And so forth. Keep that passion going and groom your grammar skills. We love to use Grammarly. Keep those ideas flowing Kim! Don’t allow fear to stop you. You are above it! 🙏🏾

Greetings! I bumped into your channel by way of virtual trunk tour.. I'm working on a project.. I'm impressed at how grounded you are.. that will take you far. The enemy does use FEAR to try to turn us around and the other weapon in his arsenal is DOUBT.. It has the power to get you tangled up, tied down and RUN. When I was participating in my first book fair it happened to me. First I was positioned in the wrong genre then it seemed like I wasn't getting anyone at my table... then God whispered to me.. I'm going to send you who I want you to meet and behold a woman came by, picked up my book, started reading it... She was from a bookclub. She purchased my book. God works in Great Wonders! That was 2008...I just published my 5th book last year and a completed the series, "Sleeper Awake! " Belief in God cancels out the enemies plot of Doubt. God always sends me who He wants me to meet and vice versa.. Believe All Things are Possible when you Believe! 🙏

Awesome thanks nice informative video, my biggest fear is not having a partner in life. A partner to build something great as one kinda like in a form of family. A female that we can support each other dreams and motivation. I strongly believe if a person is an entrepreneur their better half must hold the same beliefs. Having balance at home is very important when maintaining business and responsibilities. Erin I wish you the best your time is well appreciated.

My biggest fear is speaking with potential customers about my business. I'm afraid that they will ignore or make fun of me when I pitch in on my business. My anxiety goes through the roof and I talk myself out of it because I don't want to be looked as having a "little business".

Look at you now! 🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 That is amazing! You have to talk to those who get it and gravitate to you. You don’t have to try to impress others for something you’re passionate about because your light will shine through. When you connect with people and show them why your product is great, you will see a shift happen in your own attitude. We have been there and anxiety can be a burden if you allow it. You are above it. Walk and talk like your big business exists. Success looks different to different people. Remember you are excellent and your business has to be ran by someone! We would love to promote it.

Also, in regards to my 'big' fear.. I think I've let the prison of previous failures and disappointments hold me hostage for much longer than was necessary and I realised I could not afford to do this any longer. I stopped myself from trying/doing anything because I allowed yesterday to feature a bit too prominently in today. I am not nearly where I want to be, but I know if I can't be faithful to myself I cannot hope to be anything else to anyone else. So I got to do this.✊

Starting a business is not the hard part. The hard part is gaining support. I suffer from a mental illness. Schizophrenia and depression. Starting a business have been a strong desire for me. I'm an introvert and sometimes I don't know what I need to do to improve my products. I could come up with a name for my business and make labels for my products but my products just sit here because I have no support and don't know how to fully put myself out there. I wish that I had a little guidance and people in my corner and it's very frustrating. I continue to pray because I'm also in my wilderness and isolation.

I just know that I have more to offer the world. I spend soo much time thinking of great things but I struggle to follow through because of my fear of failing and not getting any support. This was suuuuuuch a good video! Thank you so much!! I’m not an entrepreneur but I do have a passion project I’m working on on the side and I can definitely see these tips helping me to go ahead and finish the project. Thank you so much!!
Biggest fear is after putting so much time, energy, effort, money, and other people’s talents and resources into the project, no one responds to it. Maybe a couple friends out of pity, but that it has no lasting effect.
One thing you said in the video is already helping my mindset though. What’s the worst that can happen? That people only respond out of pity and the project has no lasting effect. But also, I know from a past “failure”, I was redirected to doing this project. So now I’m thinking in terms of.. if my biggest fear does come true, this could just redirect me to what’s after it.

This is so incredible you shared this because rejecting in a major fear people have. No one wants to be rejected, but that’s how you find your true trip and audience! No one wants to lose money either so learn as much as you can! We edit our videos, audio, travel and do as much as possible on our own. It’s best that way for people to know your true passion, product and content.
Then before you know it, you’re spending here and there plus catering to the people who are showing up. We’ve been in that space but the reward of our passion projects and main projects have afforded us happiness in what we do. That’s above money! Your time should equal happiness and once you’re out of that fear comfort zone, you will be right on the other side with income and happiness from that. 🙌🏾
