I found a new launch spot that would allow me to recon some new areas. Today's video takes you through all of the steps that I go through while looking for fish and fishing spots.

Really enjoyed this video. Especially the breakdown at the end of where you explored. I often camp at the Sugarloaf KOA and bring my paddle board to fly fish off of . Appreciate the insight
Love your channel man.
Nice.
Steve, I love the recon trips, as much as the fishing. I love enjoying my kayak, motor, all my accessories, add-ons, and baits. I can cruise around all day. And it's just epic throwing different new baits, to test out. 🌊 🛶 🎣
your videos lighten my day this city is so confining
I love your recom missions!!
Thanks Man, I always enjoy your videos!!!!
What a great day.
Best wishes to you.
Nice show Steve. Thanks for showing us on Google maps too. Looking forward to viewing your next show
I had to laugh when you got the line caught in the bungee, that's exactly the kind of thing that happens to me all of the time when fishing. I was glad to see that I'm not the only one...
Finally! I've lived on Lower Sugarloaf most of my life. Awesome seeing you fish my secret spots! lol It's ok though cus I know only kayakers and my whaler can get through most of that shallow water! I can't wait to be home in a week from college and do some fishing! Keep up the awesome vids and keep exploring Sugarloaf Sound. To the west of your map, around Jewfish basin has nice depths and holds larger fish. I've seen Permit tailing through where you were at 3:30 but I think we had a King Tide.
KWPALAYER we used to camp at the burned bridge but some jerk on a houseboat ruined it for us. The police told us a couple other spots but we couldn’t ever find them. Any advice for some spots to camp on sugarloaf?
Steve! I'm packing up my fishing gear as I'm watching your video. One week to go but I leave Thursday at about 1: AM. so I miss the traffic in the DC area.
Wow those Sawfish are super rare!!
We caught a whole mess of yellowtails off the reef outside of cudjoe
🇺🇸 Veteran's 👍
On a side note, how much water and snacks/something to eat do you carry with you on those excursions? Looks like quite a distance away from the launch point if you get stranded somewhere.
Have you ever tried adding a little Pro cure to your fly? Sure looks awesome. It's 40 degrees in DFW and not fun.
Nice you should fish 5mile one of these days
Awesome video as always you catch fish when your not trying that mullet lol
need to strip your line and make the fly move. Letting it sit on the bottom defies the purpose
Hey Steve would love to see your youtude monthly break downs been a while . great job . Life is good
Love the vidoes next vidoe you should go shark fishing
Would be great to see you targeting some snook. I don't think you have at least if my memory serves me right, great video though!
I need specific place please the GPS indication is perfect for my
4:50 did you physically salute lol?
How'd you make that map?
Add some scent to your fly.
Are you going back soon to check you lobsters spot?
How do u not get lost?
Twenty-two thumps up!
Why don't you dip your fly in Gulp! recharge liquid? Or is that considered cheating?
the backdrop is magnifecent, the fishing not so
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Going to Marathon April 20th thru the 27th any tips as far as predominant winds that time of year ? Any information would be helpful
Ty
Hahaha every time you hookup you completely botch it
Jees, your Heading is so,so,sooo wrong, we could not see the fish and best part you did not catch any fish. JEES easy money.
I usually enjoy all your videos, but I'm not interested in fly fishing. Could you add to the description when it's fly fishing?
Thanks, Chief.
