Sony PMW-EX3 Upgrade to Firmware Version 1.10

This video shows the process of upgrading a Sony PMW-EX3 to firmware version 1.10 on a Mac using a USB cable. Some parts of the video are sped up. The original process takes about 20 minutes.

I have a ex3 with firmware version 1.02. I have the upgrade firmware version 1.25. I'm not sure it is wise to upgrade my camera from 1.02 to 1.25. Did you make the jump from 1.04 to 1.10 and have you had any problems with your camera after you upgraded the firmare?
