One of my children jobs was shut down on yesterday because a person possibly having the virus exposed workers. Yet another of my children job is now threaten to shut down with no pay. Her husband job at an auto maker where thousands are employed was shut down because of some testing positive for the virus. These people are left without jobs have mortgages with many costing well over one thousand dollars a month. Yet the government is prepared on alloting large sums of money to these super rich companies yet directing barely pennies to the working class.

I did a year in Harris county jail in Texas, and I can confirm that government sponsored slavery still exists. I was a worker that labored on county government vehicles without pay. You can say that I wasn't explicitly forced to work, and you'd be right. But I was practically forced. Being a trustee allowed me to escape the inhumane conditions in general population. When your in general population and you can't afford commissary you practically starve. In general population you are offered little protection from violence by correctional officers. In general population you change your clothes once a week. In general population you change your bed sheets every couple of weeks to a month. In general population you have to wait for hours to see a doctor to get Tylenol for a tooth ache. So given the chance to escape all this in exchange for doing work on official government projects is coercion and exploitation.
There are a lot of comments regarding the lack of gloves used in food preparation and dispersement. It is possible there aren't any gloves available for these mutual aid coalitions to use. People need to eat, it is WONDERFUL people are providing this service!
Tony Midyett - that’s an illogical question , Captain. I’ll put it another way. What we are trying to avoid is transmission and infection of our precious bodily mucosa . Gloves on the hands of slobs wont work. We need clean hands , with or without gloves , and masks in lieu of actual 24 hour tests.

I dont understand how this is different than charity other than the mass organization title typically held by charities. This is completely different than the mutual aid expressed by Kropotkin. Who valued direct organization similar to communes and shared income communities.. not charity promoting individualism
